Excellent Easton's Point location, just off Tuckerman Avenue. Charming cottage located on a quiet street walking distance to Easton's Beach, 2nd Beach, numerous restaurants, and Newport's scenic Cliff Walk. Only a short driving distance to downtown Newport, several historic mansions and Bellevue Avenue.

This studio style cottage is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood adjacent to an owner-occupied dwelling. It is ideal for a single person, couple or small family (max. 1 older child) coming to enjoy a lovely, relaxing vacation in the Newport area.

Due to the structural set up of the rental (stairs and loft) and the safety of guests we can only have older children, aged 12 and up traveling with their families.

Charming four season cottage in a spectacular location on Fogland Point. Large wraparound deck faces the Sakonnet River and features a gorgeous panoramic ocean view. We particularly enjoy cocktails on the deck or sitting around the fire pit at sunset. The sunsets on Fogland Point are unusually gorgeous.

The front yard leads to private rocky beach great for swimming, fishing, kayaking, shell collecting and exploring the water's edge. Located a short five minute walk from the town swimming beach (lifeguard on duty seasonally) and boat launch. Fogland Point is an ideal location for kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, and is one of the best windsurfing and kiting locations in New England.

This two bedroom cottage has a queen sized bed in the master bedroom, a set of bunk beds and a single bed in the child-friendly second bedroom, and a futon couch in the closed-in porch (where you can hear the sound of the water at night). The house is fully winterized with the exception of the closed-in porch. Maximum of six guests when porch is usable, and only four during the cold months.

The house is equipped with wi fi, smart TV, DVD player and a bluetooth/mp3 player. Though the kitchen is small, it is fully equipped with microwave, coffee maker, blender, mixer, baking pans, etc. A front-loading stackable washer/dryer is located in the bathroom. All linens are provided.

The house is very kid-friendly and comes with beach toys, books, a few videos and a lot of games for family evenings or the occasional rainy day. The closed-in porch, complete with lobster lights, is great for enjoying sunsets and quiet evenings with the sounds of waves lapping on the rocky beach below.

Sadly our cottage is not animal-friendly. We use the cottage ourselves several weeks per year, and one of our daughters has a severe allergy to dogs. Therefore, the cottage is strictly an animal-free zone in order to protect the well being of our daughter.

The cottage is located less than 10 minutes from Gray's Ice Cream, frequently rated best ice cream in RI. Besides Gray's there are other businesses worth exploring in historic Tiverton Four Corners, including several antique shops and galleries, a toy store, gift and home decor shops, designer clothing shops, cheese and pate' shop, bookstore, library, restaurants and more. Tour Sakonnet Vineyards, only 10 minutes away. Great food abounds at local restaurants, fresh seafood markets, and country stands (in season) in both Tiverton and neighboring Little Compton. Local restaurants feature great home cooking and seafood specialties, like seafood chowder, lobster rolls, fried clams, clam cakes and homemade pies.

Water Sports:
The cottage is located a short 5 minute walk from one of the best windsurfing and kiting locations in New England. Rental equipment and private lessons are often available on the beach. According to a popular windsurfing website, "Fogland point is one of the most popular spots in the state. It is one of the windiest sites not on Cape Cod. There is a sheltered shallow cove area on the north side of the point (you can walk across except at high tide) and slightly more open sailing on the south side. Great area for all skills of sailors. The beach is nice... and not too busy. Pebbly, sandy beach, not very big waves... One of the most beautiful and scenic sailing sites also. There's a saltwater marsh, and some tidal pools with lots of sea life."

The sheltered shallow cove on the north side of Fogland Point is wonderful for stand up paddle boarding. Last summer we watched a SUP yoga class moored out in the cove.

Our daughters have loved playing around the marshes. When they were small they collected hermit crabs, as they grew they graduated to playing hide and seek in the marshes on surf boards and in kayaks.

Jolee Cottage is an architecturally designed guest cottage in walking distance to Jamestown Village. Short drive to Newport (14 min); Wickford (15 min); Narragansett (23 min); Block Island Ferry (38 min); Providence (40 min) and TFG Airport (38 min). The cottage is offered fully furnished and can accommodate two adults comfortably. The living room is on the first floor where there is a pull out sofa bed, desk, flat screen TV, and gas fireplace . A shower stall bath lies behind sliding barn doors. A spiral staircase leads you to the second floor where there is a comfy queen size bed, armoire, and reading chair. Off the bedroom, is a private deck with water views of Newport Bridge. AC, ceiling fans, WIFI, cable, mini-fridge and microwave available. Sorry ... no kitchen, no pets.

“The Cottage” is an ideal vacation home for that special time to reclaim your life for a week or two (or longer). It has comfortable accommodations for up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms. Available for shorter term in the off season and weekly throughout the summer. If you want to eat in, we have a fully equipped kitchen with cathedral ceilings and skylight, for laundry there’s a washer & dryer. 1 bathroom w/shower inside plus an outside hot shower at the spacious back deck with a Weber gas grill, a private back yard, nice covered front porch for morning coffee while the sun rises, Wi-Fi 5G fiberoptic internet for e time , bedroom cabinets & hanging closet for plenty of clothes space and wood floors throughout. The bathroom floor and walls have been recently re-tiled .The house is furnished with 1 queen & 1 full size bed and all kitchen utensils (some say enough for a banquet). There are several swimming areas and a small boat launch very close by. Golf course is 5 minutes down the road. Located in a quiet and private neighborhood, about a 10 minute bicycle ride to the town center, plenty of off street parking. Located at East Shore Rd. and Decatur Ave. This is a great place as a quieter alternative to a busier town but with very quick access to those types of areas. Jamestown's a great place for bicycle riding, boating, beaching / swimming, walking, fishing, golfing or doing nothing. Quality restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and parks create a genuine village feeling at the town center. Take an easy 10 minute scenic ride over the Newport Pell bridge to visit Newport for a day touring in the city by the sea or take the passenger ferry (bring your bicycle) to Newport. Guests can also catch a ride on the Block Island Ferry from Newport or the Martha’s Vineyard Ferry from North Kingstown . Both ferries will have you at their destination in about 1.5 hrs.

This isn't rustic, some may say it's quaint or cozy, but I call it a small, simply beautiful island cottage that can make your summer a truly enjoyable one to remember. Bring your bicycles, kayak, surfboards / windsurfers, golf clubs, books, fishing gear or yard games. We have the grill, deck furniture and island ambiance.
Book early as reservations start to come in early January.
This is a non smoking property and we do not allow pets for the comfort of all our guests.

Weekly rentals start at end of May and go to early Sept. Rental period must be made to go Saturday to Saturday, no exceptions for the summer period. Be sure to adhere to this when making reservation request. Spring and fall 3 night minimum and can be any days of the week as available. Also inquire about longer terms for the winter.

It was exactly as advertised - Not a huge house but very well stocked, comfortable, in a quiet area but only a short drive to all types of activities. Only minutes from Narragansett and Newport. We had a great time wandering around Fort Wetherill State Park in Jamestown as well as the "downtown" area along Narragansett ave where there are plenty of nice places to eat. Another day we took a trip into Newport to do the Cliff Walk. Here is a great tip...Park at the Newport Transportation and visitor's Centre. The city trolleys are free during the summer and the driver will give you a voucher that will lower the parking to $5.00. If the driver has none, go in the visitors centre and ask for one. Host Marty was an absolute joy to deal with. All our questions were answered promptly and accurately. He even provided a big bag of ice in the freezer so we could enjoy a nice cold beverage after a long drive to Rhode Island. The front and back decks are spacious and great for relaxing with a morning coffee or a glass of wine at the end of the day. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks, Marty!"

Welcome to our cottage. We hope that you enjoy your stay. There is a lot to see and do for those of you who like to be on the move. For those who like to just sit, relax and watch the water, this is the perfect place.

During your stay, there are a few things that we ask…

• Please put all trash bags into the trash cans and use bungies to prevent critters from getting inside.

• If you brought a dog, please clean up after routinely so we avert any tracking into the cottage. And, please no animals on the furniture!

• Beach chairs are located in the outside shed all the way to the right. Please do not lock the shed door.

• You never know when a wind will come up plus there is the tide, so if you bring chairs down to the beach, please keep tabs so we don’t lose any.

• Checkout Day – vacate by 10 am
1. Empty the refrigerator and freezer
2. Wash all dishes
3. Put trash and recycling in outside bins
4. Lock the door and put the keychain on the hook and ensure the single key is in the lockbox and juggle the combination

Trash pickup is Tuesday morning early. Please position on the other side of the fence the night before for pickup.

Lawn Service is usually Saturday – They are quick!

WINTER MINIMUM STAY IS 9 MONTHS. SUMMER WEEKLY SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. This cottage has two bedrooms. One with a queen bed, with storage above the bed and drawers built in under the bed, with 2 closets and a bureau. The other bedroom has a set of bunk beds, ideal for the kids. With a closet and built in toy chest. Bathroom is a full bath and shower combination. Vanity and medicine cabinet to hold all your toiletries. Living room has a couch and 2 butterfly chairs. Kitchen has a butcher block table and 4 chairs. Kitchen is fully furnished with a microwave, coffee pot, blender , electric glass top stove, refrigerator, tea kettle, dinner plates, silverware, glasses all sizes , pots and pans, everything you could possible need for your use during your vacation time. The cottage has internet and cable. On the huge deck you have your own gas grill and patio furniture. We just put in an open outside shower so you can rinse off all the salt and sand from the beach and be refreshed to sit out on the deck and relax with a cocktail. You have off street parking for 2 cars.

The kids loved the bunk beds. The washer/dryer was very convenient. Beth and Dave put out some lawn games for the kids to play everyday in the green space in the backyard. Our cottage is a 2 bedroom, 3/4 bath home located in a quiet neighborhood near St. George's School. The house is in a fantastic location: choose from three nearby beaches, all within 1 to 2 miles; the Cliff Walk is 1.5 miles away, and downtown Newport is 2 miles away. Flo's Clam Shack, Atlantic Grille and Tickets Bar and Grille are all within walking distance.

The house is fully furnished and has a comfortable open layout. The master bedroom features a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. The kitchen is fully stocked with high quality cookware and brand new appliances, including a dishwasher and disposal. Also in unit is a washer and dryer. The house can accommodate up to 4 people. There is off street parking and a large backyard with a gas grill. Outdoor shower and patio with picnic table was added in 2019. The house has central air conditioning.

Adorable cottage. Decorated in a beach theme. Nice and light. Just remodeled kitchen, lots more storage space and remodeled bathroom. White walls and beach pictures through out. Paddle fans in two lower bedrooms and also in living room cathedral ceiling. Cute covered front deck great for those summer nights. Fresh paint. Off street parking 2 cars. You have a gas grill provided for your use. Super yard for your enjoyment. Lots of space for yard games. We just added an outside open shower. Hot and cold water. Great to rinse off all the salt and sand from your day at the beach before you go up to the deck for a nice cocktail to relax. Quiet neighborhood. You can walk to 5 family friendly restaurants. The Cliff walk is such a beautiful walk around the back yards of the mansions with the beautiful ocean and First beach right at your side. You can get to the Cliff Walk from walking right from the cottage. So convenient. Another great area to walk within 5 mins by car from the cottage is Sachusett Point. It's a nature preserve with wonderful trails and picturesque stands for viewing the rocks thru telescopes. You will also run into the deer and many more wild life creatures that live there. You can walk to First beach within 3 mins. and up over hill to Second Beach in about 10 mins. Location, location.

- "Wonderful little house right on the water. Great screened in back porch to watch the boats go by and take in the fresh air. Our family spent quite a lot of time out there. House was recently remodeled so everything was clean and new. Fully stocked with everything you would need. Close to Newport with great local beaches and lots of activities for the family. The host Harry was great, very responsive to questions and provided great recommendations for local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again in the future."

This is an adorable, vintage, beach cottage surrounded by flowering gardens. It is clean and comfortable with two small bedrooms. There is a gas fireplace, hardwood floors, ceiling fans, window AC unit, full bathroom and kitchen. You will be charmed by this place, it is as sweet as the photos look.

****Please note this cottage is small and best for two adults or a family with two younger children. It will be tight for four adults for more than a couple of days. There is very limited closet/storage space.
****One queen bed. One bunk bed with a double futon on the bottom and a twin on top. *****Full kitchen for cooking in but there is not a dishwasher or garbage disposal.

The cottage has a private deck surrounded by flowering perennial beds and a large, shared yard - great for kids. Located on a quiet side street and only a short walk to Newport's Eastons Beach (a.k.a. First Beach). First Beach has public facilities and a snack bar well known for it's lobster rolls. Along with the beach, restaurants, coffee and ice-cream shops and a new local brew taproom are within walking distance. Downtown Newport is only 1.5 miles away. The location is best for those looking for a quiet vacation, close to but away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Newport. No parties or late night noise.

Sheets and towels provided by a linen service. Due to delivery times, guests will likely need to make up their own beds.

We purchased our home in June of 2020 with only a short time to fully furnish and decorate in order to invite guests for the summer season. We were pleased to be able to have guest rentals in June, July, August, and September 2020.

The bathroom is large and spa like with walk in shower! Bedroom is right around the corner with a King size bed and VERY comfy mattress! Large walk in closet with racks for shoes and shelves for clothing. All furnishings less than a year old!! Basement holds the washer and dryer and are there for your use! You will find beach chairs and beach towels for your use.

The space
The cottage has a well equipped kitchen with all utensils for preparing and serving meals. Dishwasher, oven/range, refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom is smaller (but adequate) with shower (and an outside hot shower at back deck). Living room also serves as area for eating with a dining table / chairs and sofa and several additional chairs for relaxing and TV time. Window AC units are in the living room & larger bedroom. Laundry machines are in the basement for guests' use as needed. A nice back deck for afternoon relax time with a Weber gas grill, deck table, sunbrella and chairs. Very private back yard and deck area.

Guest access
This is a great place as a quieter alternative to a busier town but with very quick access to those areas. Jamestown's a great place for bicycle riding, boating, beaching / swimming, kayaking, walking, fishing, golfing or doing nothing. Quality restaurants, coffee shops, bakery's, marina's and parks create a genuine village feeling at the town center. There are several swimming areas and a small boat launch very close by. Bicycle & kayak rentals are available in town as well as charter fishing boat services . An 18 hole golf course is 5 minutes down the road. Guests can also catch a ride on the Block Island Ferry from Newport or the Martha’s Vineyard Ferry from North Kingstown – (20 minute drive).

Our Summer Cottage is close to Newport, Marina's, Golf, art and culture, great views, restaurants and dining, the beach and family-friendly activities. You’ll love our cottage because of the neighborhood, the comfy bed, the coziness, the open beam ceilings.

Our place is a historic cottage bungalow with modern amenities. When we remodeled we tried to keep the old world charm while adding modern appliances. Two bedrooms have partition walls. There is also a full size sofa bed in the living room.

The private beach is wonderful for kids to play and swim. Our screened in porch has a wonderful view and is great for dining and having friends visit.

Welcome to Windsurfers Cove! Escape from the every day hustle and bustle, at our shore front cottage. Relax and unwind at our cozy, quiet, water front retreat. There are only a few other houses on the laneway. You will have access to your very own private rocky beach, with amazing, beautiful sunsets over looking the Sakonnet River. We have installed WiFi for the 2024 season, also Cell phone service typically works great at the cottage!

The space
More widely known as Fogland Cove. We are located in a quiet neighborhood. You’ll have stairway access to our private rock beach, (just adjacent to Fogland beach) which is great for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, windsurfing or fishing. During low tide if you walk out about 10-15 yards you will reach sand. We also have two patios and a well lit screen in porch for outdoor enjoyment.

You will have access to our whole house except for the basement and attic. Access to our front and back yard with 2 patios, and a screened in porch, and only a few steps further, right off our front yard to access our Private Rocky Beach, Bring your water shoes!

Other things to note
Due to the increased water demand required by a washing machine, we currently have no washer/dryer on site, but please don’t let that hinder your decision, I can assure you it is well worth the sacrifice!
We also suggest bringing water shoes for swimming as it’s a rock beach. Window a/c units are in the 3 bedrooms for your sleeping comfort.

The space
The cottage has a large living area with eat in dinning room, big family room and updated kitchen. You step out of the kitchen into the private back yard which has a large patio, dinning table, grill and outdoor shower.

On the second floor we have a large master bedroom and good sized second bedroom plus a full bath. The 2nd floor also has the massive roof deck with lounge furniture, which is a great hangout spot.

Downstairs we have the 3rd bedroom along with a full bath. This bedroom also has its own access to the outside. The washer and dryer are also located down here.

We have high speed internet and plenty of places to set up a desk if you need to get any work done during your stay.

Dogs are allowed at a $50/dog/stay rate. If you're going to have your dog sleep in bed, please bring your own bedding.

This cottage is a seasonal cottage built in the 1930s. Unique in every way, this cottage provides you with the ideal coastal getaway. This cottage has retained much of its original appeal and has been updated to reflect today's conveniences.

The upstairs has four small bedrooms in a loft style designed to maximize air circulation and flow. This cottage is seasonal: not intended for cold weather. The walls are not insulated and the cottage was built as a summer destination. We do have a heat source located on the main floor. It does a good job of warming the place up if it gets chilly. Window air conditioning units (2 total) are located on main floor and upstairs.

I have provided both bath towels and beach towels. The navy bath towels should remain in the house and used for baths. The striped beach towels are for beach use. Thank you!

Sea Glass Cottage, a historic Victorian-style home, was built in 1876, and has been in our family for over 100 years. In 2008 we bought the cottage from our extended family, and at that time the cottage underwent a total restoration & upgrade. Sea Glass Cottage is located on the exclusive north end of Jamestown/Conanicut Island, on a quiet cul-de-sac, adjacent to Narragansett Bay, only a few yards to our pathway - with steps to a 'shell' beach with majestic views of the Bay.

The space
Jamestown/Conanicut Island is rich in open space and a tour around its rural roads reveals farms, salt marshes, and stunning water views. Jamestown is full of hidden treasures such as small beaches and winding trails. Beavertail Lighthouse juts dramatically into Rhode Island Sound from a rocky southern tip of the island. Jamestown is home to three marinas and many residents and visitors are sailors. Narragansett Bay is ideal for sailing, fishing, and kayaking. The village center is Narragansett Avenue, which runs from east to west with a marina at each end, and is lined with restaurants and stores. When you're not at the beach or on the water enjoying the ocean views, this small island town offers museums, art shows, concerts and sporting events. Newport makes a great day trip, just a ten minute drive across the bridge or by ferry in season. Providence is a 40 minute drive and offers a great cosmopolitan contrast. Visiting a nearby island is always fun. Its only a 30 minute drive to Point Judith to catch a fast ferry to Block Island, or 20 minutes to Quonset to catch the fast ferry to Martha's Vineyard. And for a more adventurous trip, it’s a two hour drive to Hyannis, MA for the fast ferry to Nantucket, & an hour drive to Woods Hole, MA to catch a slower ferry to Nantucket.

Since that time, with the help of a highly respected local contractor, our present facility manager, we have completed a full renovation of the cottage, and are presently continuing to enhance this historic property. Our deck in the backyard was added to our spacious backyard in 2018 - offering Bay views through the trees, w/ offset umbrella, a dining set for six & two chaise lounges. Our motivation has always been to restore the comfort, beauty and charm back to the cottage, so that over the next hundred years, our children, and their children, can continue building treasured family memories. All rooms are filled with a mixture of family antiques & comfy cottage furniture. Upstairs we have two bedrooms with heirloom full beds, one bedroom with a King bed (which can be broken down into two twin beds if requested at booking), and in the old nanny quarters, a twin daybed. On the first floor, in our 'once upon a time' music room, we have a queen sofa bed. Our cottage continues to be our family’s ‘happy place’ - where we take joy in making extra special memories. - The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. Enjoy your morning coffee on the back patio loungers and couch or relax and take a nap in the hammock. Enjoy a late night soak in the spacious hot tub off the back patio.
- The downstairs features a newly renovated kitchen with a large island for enjoying friends and family while cooking.
