Our Maine cottage has hardwood floors, a fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops & stainless steel appliances, including gas range/oven, dishwasher, & microwave, as well as a stackable washer/dryer. Each bedroom sleeps 2 people with 1 queen bed & 1 full & 1 twin bed. An AC unit in the living-room cools the entire cottage. The marble-tiled bathroom has a shower & pedestal sink. There is also an outdoor shower with hot & cold water to enjoy after a day at the beach or just for fun. The backyard deck has beautiful views of the ocean, including Nubble Light & Boone Island. Dine al fresco after using the outside gas grill or inside in front of the large picture window facing the ocean. Or dine out at The Lobster Cove restaurant, just a short walk away.

Great cottage on a quiet dead end road, located between Short Sands and the Nubble Light. Five minute walk to Short Sands one way and Brown's ice cream the other! First floor has living room, dining room, sun room, kitchen, bathroom with tub/shower and laundry room with full size washer and dryer. There is a small porch off the back and a patio with table & chairs, Weber gas grill and gas firepit. Upstairs has two bedrooms.

Large private yard, most of it on the side of the cottage; with enough room for a family cookout and parking for 3 cars.

There's a gas heater on the main level for those chilly off season nights.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. We provide blankets and pillows but you **MUST BRING YOUR OWN BED LINENS AND BATH TOWELS**

This friendly, comfortable year round Maine cottage with knotty pine paneling tastefully and carefully updated. Strictly NO SMOKING OF ANYTHING on premises or in yard!
We are flexible with arrival and departure dates, and have a 4 night minimum.
We accept a dog, under 45 lbs, on a limited basis, you'll need to check with us and send a photo! Bring dog bed, crate. All meds, shots. Keep pet off furniture, leave cottage as if no pet was there. Always clean up after pet in our yard or when you're out on a walk! No barking or leaving dog tied out. Thank you!
Our cottage is 2 bedrooms, one with Queen bed, closet, the second bedroom has 2 twin beds on the porch. Kitchen has Refrigerator/Freezer, Stove/Oven, and eat in Dining area.
We have a full sized washer and dryer.
Bathroom with Tub/shower. Living room with 2 couches, cable TV and sky light.
In2021 we installed 2 Mitsubishi minisplit airconditioner/heat, one in dining area one in living room.
Combination locks on the doors, no keys to lose! Outside there are 2 parking places, outdoor chairs and table. Sit outside and enjoy the quiet family neighborhood. The cottage is a 'stone's throw' to a rocky beach for tide pooling, swimming at high tide, star gazing, and views of Shorts Sands Beach! Hear the waves from the cottage!
Popular Short Sands Beach is a pleasant 1/2 mile walk on a tree-lined side street. Shops, restaurants, cafe, etc.
You'll find York's Wild Kingdom, The Goldenrod (world famous for salt water taffy made the same way for over 100 years), Funarama with games including skee ball, a wonderful beach side playground and the Gazebo for summer concerts. Walk on another 20 minutes to Dunne's ice cream and on to the Nubble Lighthouse, enjoying the rocky Maine coastline, and fabulous ocean views. Long Sands beach is another little walk or drive away.

Short drives open a world of sightseeing, shopping, hiking, boating, etc. Portland is 30 minutes away with ferries to the Maine islands; driving up or down the coast leads you to outlet shopping at Freeport, one hour away, or Kittery, 15 minutes away; a burst of driving to the heart of the New Hampshire White Mountains for a days junket is one and one-half hours away.

We have a small collapsible cart and 4 beach chairs in an outside “shed” .
We don't clean the barbecue, so please leave it the way you'd like to find it!

The location is in a lovely and quiet neighborhood, but is walkable to town reataurants, shops, and activities, and to the sandy beach. Find full-size appliances in the nicely equipped kitchen, a gas grill just outside, and a dining table for four in the sunroom. The house is in a great location, only 2/10th of a mile from Short Sands Beach, local shops, fine dining, and amusements. Seas The Day is set back nicely from Main Street offering a feeling of seclusion & privacy yet the luxury of being close to everything! This great cottage is recently renovated with an updated kitchen, new flooring & new windows. There are two bedrooms and one full bathroom with a tub/shower. There is a bedroom on the main level. There is parking for 2 cars. There are 2 smart T.V.’s and Free Wi-Fi. For your beach-going convenience an outdoor shower is located off the back deck. This is a non-smoking property. The kitchen has a 2 person breakfast bar, small 4 person dining table, full size refrigerator and 4 burner propane stove and oven. Off the living room is a French door that opens up to a massive 400 Sq. ft. deck, perfect for barbequing, sunbathing, or just some Rest & Relaxation with family & friends. An outdoor gas grill is provided. There is also a hot and cold water outdoor shower for your after beach going convenience. It is our expectation that you bring your own towels, beach towels, bed sheets and pillow cases. 1 queen and 2 full beds. To access the oversized upstairs bedroom you will need to be able to climb very steep cottage style stairs. (I do not recommend anyone with toddlers or mobility impairments plan on renting this cottage to sleep upstairs). The bathroom is on the 1st floor and the stairs are quiet steep with no way to block them off from upstairs. We do allow 1 dog per booking with an agreement to follow basic pet rules and a separate payment of a nonrefundable pet fee of $250 per stay. This is a 2 bed 1 bath, in unit laundry condo and mini splits for cooling, with great proximity to the beach with everything you need to cook from home! Just One Block Back from beautiful Long Sands Beach, sits this adorable condo. Long Sands Beach has long been a destination for summer vacations. The water is clear and the beach is clean. Family friendly, this beach offers miles of sand and oftentimes, great waves for boogie boarding and body surfing! For your convenience, we offer beach chairs and a caddy to take your gear to the beach. There are adorable small restaurants, ice cream shops, tee shirt shacks and penny candy. Yes, it is a bit throw back, but just what your family will love and long remember. The cottage itself is newly renovated with bamboo flooring throughout, all new furniture, new wall mounted flat screen TV with cable, wifi, new bathroom with 4 foot shower, new range and so much more! This house is perfect for solo adventures, couples, and families! Great views are just 400 steps from your front door where you can literally see for miles over pristine blue ocean water! We provide hand soap, dish soap, dish towels, a bath mat, trash bags, basic cleaning products, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in a shower pump, light weight summer quilts, 2 rolls of toilet paper, and 1 roll of paper towel. All 3 of the mattresses and all of the pillows are covered with pillow and mattress protectors. After renovating the entire interior, in 2021 we added new exterior siding and some new outdoor furniture. The kitchen is stocked with all the basic things you should need during your stay like a toaster, two kinds of coffee machines (see photos for types) pots and pans if you feel like cooking, plates and cups, and naturally...wine glasses! If there is something that you think should be there, or that you are looking for, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and we will make our best attempt to accommodate your needs within 24 hours of the request (within reason). We also rent this property for a 6-9 month term in the winter months feel free to inquire about that as well! We do not provide sheets or towels, there is 1 queen size, 1 double or full size, and 1 queen sleeper sofa. There is a washer and dryer for you to use during your stay exclusive to this unit only.
