The space
Strelitzia Cottage is one of the original cottages in Kleinemonde East being set slightly away from the river and sea front which affords it shelter from the coastal winds, this is enhanced as the cottage sits over two properties and in the midst of indigenous forest. Bird lovers paradise! Guests have the choice of showering either indoors or out under the stars. The ambience and decor has been kept purposely relaxed in a real 'get away from it all' experience the absence of a television enhances this.

Kleinemonde beach and surf is highly recommended for fishing, surfing & kite surfing. The river is great for canoeing, paddle boarding and water skiing. Both offer good swimming options. The dunes make really fun sand boarding, the beaches offer good walks to Clayton's Rocks, The Point, Three Sisters and Fish River Lighthouse. Kleinemonde offers all around family fun!

Further on, Grahamstown is an approximate 40 minute drive. This city is host to Rhodes University and the annual Grahamstown Arts Festival, a 10 day smorgasbord of art, culture, music, craft and food.
