There was a tinnny elevator which was so helpful to get the luggage to the room. It was clean, and beds pretty comfortable. My sons bed was more comfortable then mine, mine had a weird lump/roll in the middle. It was verrrrry hot to sleep here. No ac as most places in Germany. I did bring along a little USB fan that I bought before heading to Germany that has been extremely helpful. It was loud outside. But that is to be expected so close to the downtown core/cathedral. And I wouldn’t change it for the location! We had to park about 10 min away in a parking garage which was the only downside. Other than that. Amazing place! "

The sound proofing was quite bad for the private twin rooms/ area as well. We could hear everything from within our locked room (people talking in the next room, if anyone was using the bathroom down the hall etc). But overall, a pleasant stay and I would definitely consider booking this hostel in the future. "

The 1st night it was quite hot in the pod even with the air vent inside on. Much cooler the 2nd night which made it more comfortable. The location was also good, you were never more than 25 mins walk from the main attractions. "

Good on ya. I only stayed one night during low season and found Sunflower had everything I needed, comfortable bed with clean linens, what looked like a sociable atmosphere downstairs, good access to transport links. Most importantly, after a long day of travel I found the Canadian at reception to be such a wonderful, kind and helpful human. Management take note, not all hostel receptions are this awesome, welcoming and pleasant. It was so nice to be greeted and helped like that in yet another new and foreign city. Thank you so much!"
