The staff was nice, and the casino and bars were a lot of fun. The pool and hot tub area that they share with the Springhill Inn was absolutely amazing and so much fun! The only complaint I have is that they charged my travel partner's credit card twice for the food we charged to the room, and then they had no ability to "investigate" the charges further so he had to dispute it with his bank. Me and my friend ended up arriving an hour and a half after check-in time closed due to traffic and storm conditions since we were staying in Colorado the day before we drove up here, and they called to confirm if we were on our way and that we could text them to tell them that we had arrived. Shortgrass Resort was designed and built by Cappie and Sprout (Alex), the stepfather-daughter team from Building Outside the Lines on the Magnolia Network.
