The Studio is a 2-person oasis in an adorable neighborhood with a babbling brook, where you can rest in quiet and watch the turkeys, deer, ducks, and squirrels. Alex (Sprout), a star of Building Outside the Lines and Cappie’s stepdaughter, redesigned the interior of the space. She has provided outdoor seating nearby under the trees, next to the brook that runs in the summer.

The Studio is located in the sideyard of an historic home in a residential area on the edge of Spearfish. It originally was the servants’ quarters, but was mostly used as a henhouse for much of the 1900s. In 2015, it was renovated as an office space. Then Alex remodeled it yet again for a vacation rental.

The family in the home enter and exit from the other side of the house (including the garage), so you will have utmost privacy.

The kitchen has most of the basic kitchenware/cookware/dining ware that may be needed to grill or cook. There are a few staples in the cupboard and fridge for your use.

Check-in is any time after 4pm the day of your scheduled arrival. Check-out time is any time before 11am, mountain time.

It is not necessary to meet anyone to obtain access or keys and allows you the freedom to depart according to your travel schedule. This unit has an electronic deadbolt with an access code. The code will be sent along with the check-in details.

This place is a bit of a drive to an from town, but it was a nice place to retreat at the end of the day. It was well-kept, clean, and we had no issues with anything. I would just note that neither the wifi nor cell service is particularly good. We brought some games to play, and enjoyed watching a movie on Dish. There’s a restaurant/campsite down the road where you can catch fish and have it cooked, and it was excellent! Highly recommended."

This newly renovated, 250 sq ft studio is located on our main property but is separated by a privacy fence and has its own private drive and patio. It is two blocks from downtown shops, entertainment, coffeehouses and restaurants.

It is minutes from Spearfish Canyon, walking distance to the Spearfish City Park & Historic DC Booth Fish Hatchery, a 15-minute drive to Deadwood, a 20-minute drive to Sturgis, 1-hour to Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park and a 25-minute drive to all the winter sports the hills has to offer.

The kitchen has all utensils, pantry items, dishes and pots/pans you will need for your stay and a local, family-owned grocery store w/ spirits is located less than a block away for a quick trip to stock the fridge.

This home, built in the early 1900's, is on Deadwood's Historical Registery and is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on famous Main Street, just a couple blocks from the action! The space is a one bedroom, one bath with a full kitchen. Laundry facilities are available. There is no room for trailers. You'll love coming back to this cozy space with all the comforts of home after enjoying all Deadwood and the Black Hills have to offer!!

The main area provides seating for at least 4 persons with a table and benches combining the kitchen with the dining area and main living room area. There is a queen sofa sleeper in the area with a separate bedroom with a king bed.

The kitchen has most of the basic kitchenware/cookware/dining ware that may be needed to grill or cook. There are a few staples on the shelf and fridge for your use.

Check-in is any time after 4pm the day of your scheduled arrival. Check-out time is any time before 11am, mountain time.

It is not necessary to meet anyone to obtain access or keys and allows you the freedom to depart according to your travel schedule. This unit has an electronic deadbolt with an access code. The code will be sent along with the check-in details.

Located near Lead/Deadwood with easy access to Sturgis (30min), Spearfish (30min), Rapid City (45min), Mt Rushmore (60min), and Crazy Horse (80min), to name a few.

Parking is directly at the end of the sidewalk which can accommodate up to two vehicles and/or trailers. Additional parking is at the southern end of the property.

**** GREAT LOCATION FOR SNOWMOBILING**** Mad Peak is right on Trail #7; the trail actually goes right over the driveway. We have plenty of room for parking trailers. Don't have a sled? There are snowmobile rentals around just south of the location around the corner. We get a lot of snow and the State maintains 350+ miles of groomed trails.....Come Enjoy Winter With Us!!
