We welcome you to the Rusty Relic. This unique Montana retreat includes a beautiful 2 bedroom 1 bath top floor unit of a duplex. This space has that classic old-time feel with gorgeous, well-preserved hardwood flooring and the arched entrances will guide you from one room to the next. The Relic overlooks a backyard that is landscaped for your enjoyment and relaxation which includes a new hot tub (note this shared between multiple rental units).

The Rusty Relic is the main floor of the bungalow which has 2 brand new queen beds that reside in each bedroom and a recently refreshed bathroom. Single guests and couples are recommended to stay in the "giraffe" room as it is much quieter for guests staying on the bottom floor of the duplex the “Old West Den.”

- "Alright, from the beginning...I arrived in the middle of the night after driving 12 hours, so I wasn't interested in a complicated check-in. The access instructions were thorough and lock box was easy to find, I had all my stuff in and was settled in about 10 minutes. Nice clean place with good internet and complete kitchen with what looks like to be a brand-new stove. Windows open for fresh air and there are two A/C units as well. Plenty of games, books, and a desk to work at plus a TV that supports gaming systems. The bed was wonderful (I slept better here than my own bed at home) and there were additional blankets and pillows available. Plenty of towels and shower had shampoo and body wash. Just a couple of things I would advise to future users (and I am really nit-picking here) is that this space between the bathroom sink and the shower is narrow, and same with getting around the stove in the kitchen. Also, the unit as it is on the upper level of the house for those unable to climb a full set of stairs. Again, I am nit-picking as neither of these things were an issue for me. Truth is I completely enjoyed staying here and will try to book it again when I visit Billings. Thank you to the owner, I appreciated this quiet and comfortable option to an over-priced hotel room."

The Den is a basement unit (part of the duplex which contains the top floor “Rusty Relic” Airbnb unit) and is accessible by outdoor stairs via your private entrance.

The 43 Yellowstone main home was built for P.B. Moss. Few know the real reason why. The carriage house was built in 1904 and the house completed in 1907. All tenants are offered a copy of the carriage house painted by a local artist for the Moss Mansion Calendar. No big deal, just old glory.

This is a 2nd floor unit with interior staircase. The upper loft bed is reached by wood ladder. See Pictures. If you would rather use the Serta fold down sofa in living room, or multiple guests, the carriage house installs the extra bedding for it and will still function as a couch. Additional new futon mattress is in the master closet ass well. Quite a few options and square feet in all. Notice the 12 foot by 1 foot windows, and two dormers.

Carriage House includes private courtyard and entrance. It is home to a carriage pulling horse. Or was... The living quarters on the second floor was the livery with hay fed through the dormers. The owner's carriage itself was contained next to the stairs in second, or main floor room. It became a garage when cars hit the road. Fully remodeled. It can be rented separately for events or special needs.. We are set up for long term stays here. Fully functional kitchen.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit.

This house was originally built in 1900, then moved to Billings from Broadview in the 1940s. I bought the house in 2004, when my daughter was small, and have lived here ever since. It is a work in progress. Between 2010-13, I had the basement remodeled. I love the yard, and in the summer, I spend a good part of my day outside working in it.

The space
The apartment is fully furnished in the basement of my home. It is private and I have tried to make it very comfortable. I live in the main part of the house with my 14-year-old son who lives with me part-time and 2 dogs.

My dogs are Roxie, a lab mix rescue, and Paisley, a Biewer Yorkie who is very friendly.

During the week we rise early and I have worked hard at making sure we are quiet, I have a small sound machine in the bedroom to help with filtering any noise. Especially, when we are getting ready.

Guests all have access to the backyard, the backyard deck and furnishings, and of course the entire basement apartment. Barbeque is also available upon request.

When arriving, parking for the apartment is directly behind the house (#821) next to the garage. You will enter the alley off of 9th Avenue North or 8th Avenue North(the alley is paved and runs straight through) between North 24th and North 23rd.

Walking distance to everything downtown Billings has to offer. Only a few blocks from Billings Historic District on Montana Avenue, dozens of restaurants, music venues, and Billings businesses.

Originally built in 1917, the building served as the storefront for Firestone Service Station from 1931 into the 1980s. Soon to be restored and renovated.

The apartment has new updates, but still showcases it's original appearance. Located on the 2nd Floor with a step-up bathroom.

The space
This property was originally constructed in 1917 by former Billings mayor Robert Leavens. The ground floor storefront was originally a car dealership, but was converted into a Firestone Service Station in 1931 after the construction of the adjoining four-bay garage. The ground floor spaces are currently unoccupied while architectural studies are prepared for a future renovation.

The apartments are located on the second floor and there is no elevator access. In addition, this apartment has the original step-up to reach the bathroom.
