Easy access to 1-90 s and I-15 s on and off ramps makes an overnight stay convenient in that you can be on your way without delay, giving you more time for that extra cup of coffee, or a little extra shut eye. It also allows quick access to fine dining, shopping etc. We’re also within walking distance to walking trails taking you to the Continental Divide. We’re state license and inspected.

Four large bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen — and an absolutely enormous loft-like open space not to mention 15 foot ceilings, make for an experience unlike any other in Big Sky country. A raised area all along the south windows would be the instant focus for entertaining and also an endless source of inspiration as a sitting room or even a home office.
The space
Originally built to house the “manual arts” department at Butte High School, the building lost its purpose when the high school moved in 1938. (The main old high school building burned to the ground in 1946.) During World War II the Manual Arts Building served as a military induction center, and later would house the Butte Business College. Then, for years, the nearby Masonic Temple used it for its youth programs, DeMolay and Rainbow Girls.

Because of the building’s original construction as a school facility, the stairways are immense, more than eight feet wide. Everywhere, the light streams in — more and more as you go to the upper floors. Pets are welcome, but we do charge an extra $50 cleaning fee to make sure the space is usable for guests that might have pet allergies.

Please note the loft is on the 4th floor of this building and requires some significant climbing up the large sets of stairs. If you or anyone in your party are not comfortable with this set up, our place might not be the best for you. Access into the building is a set code that will be given out the day of your arrival. There is another door (that will have the same code) to enter the loft space.

This is the CUTEST studio apartment in the heart of uptown Butte. Brand new queens bed, couch, kitchenette, small table, and beautiful bathroom. Very nice linens provided. Kitchenette has dishes, grittle, pressure cooker, microwave, Keurig, toaster and silverware. Think of the space as an extended stay hotel, but nicer. There is no laundry on site, and the access is 12 stairs. Unfortunately it is not handicapped accessible. It has a beautiful walk-in tile shower. It is close to nightlife, restaurants, and coffee. This apartment is downstairs from a functioning medical practice which opens at about 8am during the week. This can make for some noise starting early morning during the week.

Welcome to our historic building from 1908. Located in one of Butte’s main streets, across the street from a gym and a great pub. Apartment equipped with a claw foot tub and kitchen with amenities to prepare your own meal.
