The Studio is a 2-person oasis in an adorable neighborhood with a babbling brook, where you can rest in quiet and watch the turkeys, deer, ducks, and squirrels. Alex (Sprout), a star of Building Outside the Lines and Cappie’s stepdaughter, redesigned the interior of the space. She has provided outdoor seating nearby under the trees, next to the brook that runs in the summer.
The Studio is located in the sideyard of an historic home in a residential area on the edge of Spearfish. It originally was the servants’ quarters, but was mostly used as a henhouse for much of the 1900s. In 2015, it was renovated as an office space. Then Alex remodeled it yet again for a vacation rental.
The family in the home enter and exit from the other side of the house (including the garage), so you will have utmost privacy.

This newly renovated, 250 sq ft studio is located on our main property but is separated by a privacy fence and has its own private drive and patio. It is two blocks from downtown shops, entertainment, coffeehouses and restaurants.
It is minutes from Spearfish Canyon, walking distance to the Spearfish City Park & Historic DC Booth Fish Hatchery, a 15-minute drive to Deadwood, a 20-minute drive to Sturgis, 1-hour to Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park and a 25-minute drive to all the winter sports the hills has to offer.
The kitchen has all utensils, pantry items, dishes and pots/pans you will need for your stay and a local, family-owned grocery store w/ spirits is located less than a block away for a quick trip to stock the fridge.
The bedroom/living space has a queen size murphy bed with a couch, chairs and a 50” smart TV for plenty of room if you decide to stay in and hangout.
The recently renovated bathroom with walk-in shower comes stocked with towels, beach towels, basic toiletries and hairdryer.
A private driveway with outdoor patio has chairs, a fire pit and a grill ready for summer evenings.

The owners were very quick to respond to us to help us figure out the door lock and the tv remote worked. From our place we visited and hiked Devil’s Tower, drove Spearfish Canyon and the Needles, toured the fish hatchery in town, and hiked several area trails. We loved biking a stretch of the Mickelson Trail and the Spearfish City trail system was very cool as well. Lillian’s for dinner is tremendous! There is also a great little Indian cuisine restaurant next to Killian’s that was tasty. We also visited Crazy Horse which was so neat. The Native American taco at the restaurant there was delicious! All in all, this is a perfect place to serve as a basecamp."

The building hosts Ruby’s Roost, the friendliest coffee bar in town. We also enjoyed local IPA from Spearfish Brewing, then picked up a few delicious appetizers at REDwater Kitchen to share on our sunset-facing patio from our room. Definitely would stay here again!"

This apartment is a newly renovated space in a historic building in the heart of Downtown Spearfish! Experience downtown living at its finest! This apartment is within walking distance of all the local hotspots: fine dining, local retailers, Spearfish Brewing, the local bars, and beautiful Spearfish Creek and the City Park! Many local businesses have partnered with us to bring discounts and freebies when you stay with us!
This building is over 100 years old! We renovated everything except the hardwood floors. They were so beautiful, we couldn’t cover them up!

Every Friday Night in June, July, and August, there is a street festival on Main Street that includes food vendors, a beer garden, and live music that runs from 4pm-9pm. This event is a community favorite and we are SURE that you'll enjoy it if you have time to take it in!

During the summer months there is a cool creek running through the property that feels divine after a long day of travel or sight seeing, bring your swimming suit for a cool dip or relax in the hammock or swings near the creek.The property has two other rentals on the homestead, so the shared amenities are first come, first serve.
This is a hard-to-find 20 foot side-open shipping container. It has a full-length deck, and is brimming with custom features both inside andout. You'll feel like you are in your own little world while still being a short drive or walk away from local attractions, dining and entertainment.

Property Rules:
--This property is dog-friendly! If you plan to bring your dog, you must get pre-approval and pay the pet fee before check-in. We allow up to 2 dogs as long as they are fully potty trained, will stay off of the bed and couch, and will not be in the house alone unless kenneled. City law requires dogs to be on a leash while outside and because there are other cottages on the property and potentially other dogs visiting with their owners, it is extra important that dogs be on a leash when outside. Dog waste must be disposed of and any damages or additional cleaning may incur additional fees. We cannot currently accept cats, birds, etc at this property.
-No Smoking or Vaping of any substances. If we find evidence of any kind of smoking or vaping in the property there will be a minimum of $250 added to your stay. The property is smoke free.
-Please respect neighbors by being quiet after 10pm and 8am. Our guests' sleep is important to us! You are in your own house with no shared walls so it is pretty easy to meet this expectation.
-If you choose to use the hot tub the hours are 8am-10pm. No drinks or food allowed for sanitary and safety. Please shower before using the hot tub. It is a community hot tub so please respect other guests who may be using it as well. There is no lifeguard on duty and by using the hot tub you are accepting responsibility for your own safety.
- Parking is allowed along the edge of the property on the gravel parking area. Please no parking sideways on the street or large trailers. If you need trailer parking, the property along Ames St is our parking and can fit 2 trailers. Otherwise, trailers must be detached and parked the same direction as other vehicles.

As a Superhost, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories in our cozy home while leaving it nice and clean for the next guests.
IMPORTANT: No Smoking of any kind is allowed on the property as secondhand smoke can cause an asthma attack for the owner. Should this rule be violated, we will need the unit cleaned by a professional smoke restoration company and the guest will be liable for the $2,500 dollar charge.

General Damages
Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. All damages or missing items occurring during your stay will need to be paid for by you before departure. Fire Prevention and Safety
Please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes space heaters, air conditioners, fans, hair curlers/straighteners, and portable device chargers.
Other
The space you are booking is for 1-2 people. More than two people are allowed in the home ONLY IF okayed by the homeowner before check-in. No one is allowed in the home not already specified before starting stay.
We may leave consumables such as coffee and small snacks for you to enjoy. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. However, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.
If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

Our Canyonview apartment has the feeling of a tree house as it sits above Spearfish Canyon. It is conveniently located at 309 Canyonview Lane, Spearfish, SD, a beautiful community close to all things Black Hills.
The apartment is a daylight basement with two bedrooms, a murphy bed, and one bath. One bedroom features a king sized bed and the other has a queen. The deck is under construction but it has a good amount usable!! We are available every day for short stays OR if you are a fairly quiet someone or someones :) who would appreciate this lovely apartment and view for a medium length stay through May, 2024 contact us. $1100 a month includes all utilities plus wifi. There is a washer dryer too! Tenant would need to scoop their own snow when we are out of town. No pets or smoking.

🐾 Pet Etiquette: We're a pet-friendly place, and you may spot some furry friends at neighboring cabins. Please keep your pets on a leash, as it's also a city ordinance. While most guests follow the rules, we can't control everyone, so if any issues arise, we'll address them promptly.

As a Superhost, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories in our cozy home while leaving it nice and clean for the next guests.
IMPORTANT: No smoking of any kind is allowed on the property as secondhand smoke can cause an asthma attack for the owner. This includes cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vaping, marijuana, etc Should this rule be violated, guest will be liable for a minimum $250 charge.
Up to two dogs are allowed by pre-approval only with a one-time pet fee of $30. No cats, birds, rabbits, etc.
Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am.
General Damages
Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. All damages or missing items occurring during your stay will need to be paid for by you before departure. Cleaners check for damages and any missing items after each stay. Any damages or missing items can and will be billed to the guest.
Fire Prevention and Safety
Please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes space heaters, air conditioners, fans, hair curlers/straighteners and
portable device chargers.
Other
The space you are booking is for 1-2 people. More than two people are allowed in the home ONLY IF okayed by us before check-in. No one is allowed in the home not already specified before starting the stay. If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
We may leave consumables such as coffee and small snacks for you to enjoy. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. However, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.
If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community, not a hotel, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave.

-Please respect neighbors by being quiet after 10pm and 8am. Our guests' sleep is important to us! You are in your own house with no shared walls so it is pretty easy to meet this expectation.
-If you choose to use the hot tub the hours are 8am-10pm. No drinks or food allowed for sanitary and safety. Please shower before using the hot tub. It is a community hot tub so please respect other guests who may be using it as well. There is no lifeguard on duty and by using the hot tub you are accepting responsibility for your own safety.
- Parking is allowed along the edge of the property on the gravel parking area. Please no parking sideways on the street or large trailers. If you need trailer parking, the property along Ames St is our parking and can fit 2 trailers. Otherwise, trailers must be detached and parked the same direction as other vehicles.

Beautiful 5 Star rated 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment. Just a few blocks from Safeway, Walgreen & the hospital. 3 blocks to Main St & then 4 blocks to downtown. 1/2 block to Spearfish Creek, park & bike path. So much thought has gone into this comfortable home away from home. I've tried to provide most everything you will need to be comfortable. Plenty of outdoor seating on the deck with great views & a gas grill for outdoor cooking. Designated covered parking for guests under the deck.

The Studio is a 2-person oasis in an adorable neighborhood with a babbling brook, where you can rest in quiet and watch the turkeys, deer, ducks, and squirrels. Alex (Sprout), a star of Building Outside the Lines and Cappie’s stepdaughter, redesigned the interior of the space. She has provided outdoor seating nearby under the trees, next to the brook that runs in the summer.
The space
The Studio is located in the sideyard of an historic home in a residential area on the edge of Spearfish. It originally was the servants’ quarters, but was mostly used as a henhouse for much of the 1900s. In 2015, it was renovated as an office space. Then Alex remodeled it yet again for a vacation rental.
The family in the home enter and exit from the other side of the house (including the garage), so you will have utmost privacy.

Property Rules:
--This property is dog-friendly! If you plan to bring your dog, you must get pre-approval and pay the pet fee before check-in. We allow up to 2 dogs as long as they are fully potty trained, will stay off of the bed and couch, and will not be in the house alone unless kenneled. City law requires dogs to be on a leash while outside and because there are other cottages on the property and potentially other dogs visiting with their owners, it is extra important that dogs be on a leash when outside. Dog waste must be disposed of and any damages or additional cleaning may incur additional fees. We cannot currently accept cats, birds, etc at this property.
-No Smoking or Vaping of any substances. If we find evidence of any kind of smoking or vaping in the property there will be a minimum of $250 added to your stay. The property is smoke free.
-Please respect neighbors by being quiet after 10pm and 8am. Our guests' sleep is important to us! You are in your own house with no shared walls so it is pretty easy to meet this expectation.
-If you choose to use the hot tub the hours are 8am-10pm. No drinks or food allowed for sanitary and safety. Please shower before using the hot tub. It is a community hot tub so please respect other guests who may be using it as well. There is no lifeguard on duty and by using the hot tub you are accepting responsibility for your own safety.
- Parking is allowed along the edge of the property on the gravel parking area. Please no parking sideways on the street or large trailers. If you need trailer parking, the property along Ames St is our parking and can fit 2 trailers. Otherwise, trailers must be detached and parked the same direction as other vehicles.

Our home is set up like a duplex so there may be renters downstairs as well. The hot tub is the only shared space on the property.

Master bedroom- Enjoy BIG views out of the bay window! In addition to that, it has a king size bed and attached bathroom. This is the only shower in the unit, so you will have to share with whoever you are traveling with!
The living room- This is our favorite space in the house! We have a very comfortable leather couch sectional and a large tv! There is also a beautiful fireplace to use if the weather allows.
Kitchen and Dining- These spaces are combined. There are three bar stools and a four person table for dining! We live in this portion of the home so it should have everything you need and more.
The second bedroom- has a queen size bed and big bay window.
Upper deck- This will be all yours and is such a special place to be. This deck overlooks Spearfish Creek and the city campground. Expansive views of the hills allow you to enjoy Crow Peak, Spearfish Mountain and the Spearfish Canyon.
The stairs lead towards the basement Airbnb, so please do not go down there! There is a locked that separates the two.
