The apartment is located walking distance to all the downtown eatery’s, pubs, and shopping. It’s a short walk to the Bismarck event center, both hospitals, federal building and the Kirkwood mall. The apartment is upstairs in a recently updated historic building there are tall ceilings and hardwood floors, central air dishwasher and washing facility’s all the amenities of home. WiFi MIDCO high speed internet service. And off street parking.

The unit has all new furniture including the bed, new 48" Samsung TV, and all new linens. Off-street parking andfree WiFi.

Guests get one parking spot in our driveway and there is an abundance of on street parking surrounding our home. On street parking is free.

The bedroom is spacious with a brand new bed and linens. The blinds are light blocking to ensure you get a great night of sleep. The bedroom also features a walk-in closet.

The unit has a washer and dryer right off of the bedroom. Free laundry right next to the bedroom, SCORE! An iron and full sized ironing board is provided as well.

The spacious kitchen has everything to need to cook a meal like a boss. The kitchen in stocked with Emeril pots and pans, a Crock-pot, Keurig Machine, full sized fridge and a full sized stove/oven. Save some money dining in on delicious home cooked meals.

We love to travel as a family. We love kids. We have four. We welcome guests with children. That being said, this home is not in any way child safe ( ie no child locks, no electrical outlet covers, no furniture anchors, no trunk lock, no toilet lock, blinds may contain strings, and children have to be watched in the bathtub as our plumbing is older and if turned on high could burn a child.) Hazards are not limited to just these examples.

- "We have stayed here twice and it has been perfect both times. The location was excellent as we were able to walk the capital path in the mornings and attend the state track meet in the afternoons. We were able to stay together and prepare our own meals. Will stay here again." - "The property was clean except for the coffe maker which had old coffee and coffe grounds in the filter (easy fix). The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable, but the frame of it is light weight steel and the knob was loose when we arrived. Obviously someone bumped it and its never been fixed. It doesnt effect the function of the bed, but it is the corner of the bed that has the most traffic in that room, so my husband and I had to be very conscious when making the bed or even walking past that corner so we didn't knock the bed frame knob off. Also there is only parking for one vehicle per unit on the property so our sons had to park off site across the street. It all worked out in the end and we were greatful that we had a comfortable place to stay as we were in North Dakota for my father's funeral and traveled a long distance to be there. One bathroom was tricky so we planned ahead. :) The tub was clogged, but Trevor quickly solved the problem for us. The location was right by the capital and close to many restaurants. The top floor of the home can be rented as well. It is a three bedroom one bathroom. It can be rented to add an additional six guests.

We ask you to be respectful and share the laundry room with the upper unit. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 10 am.

As we said, this is the main floor apartment of a duplex. NO Stairs!!! You enter through a locked entry at the garage door (this door is shared with the upper unit). There is an entryway that has the locked doors for both units and the shared laundry room. The laundry room has a washer and dryer for your convenience. Laundry is FREE!

The top floor of the home can be rented as well. It is a three bedroom one bathroom. It can be rented to add an additional six guests.

We ask you to be respectful and share the laundry room with the upper unit. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 10 am.

Other things to note
We love to travel as a family. We love kids. We have four. We welcome guests with children.

That being said, this home is not in any way child safe ( ie no child locks, no electrical outlets covers, no furniture anchors, no trunk lock, no toilet lock, blinds may contain strings, and children have to be watched in the bathtub as our plumbing is older and if turned on high could burn a child.) Hazards are not limited to just these examples.

The garage is a storage place for excess building materials we have. It is not a place for guests or children to hangout or play. The garage is simply a place for guests to pass through to enter the entry for their unit.

We would never cancel your reservation and expect the same commitment from you. We have worked hard to have a 0% Cancellation rate to prove to our guests that we stand by our word when you book our home.

The security deposit is $500. We will send you a funds request upon booking for the deposit.

A booking isn't confirmed until a signed lease and deposit are in place.

We specialize in long term rentals to professionals with 13 week contracts usually. We only accept bookings that at longest leave a two week open window in our calendar. If you are looking for a stay that leaves a longer gap, we most likely won't accept the stay.

The bedroom is spacious with a brand new bed and linens. The blinds are light blocking to ensure you get a great night of sleep. The bedroom also features a walk-in closet.

The unit has a washer and dryer right off of the bedroom. Free laundry right next to the bedroom, SCORE! An iron and full sized ironing board is provided as well.

The spacious kitchen has everything to need to cook a meal like a boss. The kitchen in stocked with Emeril pots and pans, a Crock-pot, Keurig Machine, full sized fridge and a full sized stove/oven. Save some money dining in on delicious home cooked meals.

Guest access
Guests have access to their unit which is above our garage. They access the unit from a private entrance. We live in the main house. If you have any issues or concerns, we are available 24/7. If we have time, we enjoy cooking for our guests and sharing a meal with them. We haven't met one person that doesn't have something to share with us! Our location puts you 5 minutes from both Stanford and CHI Hospitals, the malls or Civic Center.

Other things to note
We love to travel as a family. We love kids. We have four. We welcome guests with children. That being said, this home is not in any way child safe ( ie no child locks, no electrical outlet covers, no furniture anchors, no trunk lock, no toilet lock, blinds may contain strings, and children have to be watched in the bathtub as our plumbing is older and if turned on high could burn a child.) Hazards are not limited to just these examples.

We specialize in long term rentals to professionals with 13 week contracts usually. We only accept bookings that at longest leave a two week open window in our calendar. If you are looking for a stay that leaves a longer gap, we most likely won't accept the stay.

Why do we have a firm cancellation policy? Unlike hotels with many rooms to rent, cancellations are devastating to owners of single family homes. When we accept your reservation we acknowledge that you are perhaps taking time off from work and making plane and vehicle reservations. We would never cancel your reservation and expect the same commitment from you. We have worked hard to have a 0% Cancellation rate to prove to our guests that we stand by our word when you book our home.

The security deposit is $500. We will send you a funds request upon booking for the deposit.
