Grout needs refreshing in the shower and the wardrobe door wouldn't stay closed so a bit of upkeep and maintenance needed. Quite a strong smell of food/cooking too so an airing probably needed. Breakfast service was great, food just needed a bit more care in the cooking for our liking. Overall, for the price and location, I'd still give this stay full marks"

Only negative is the WiFi in the room did not work but found the room easy to check out at 06-15 am in the morning to get the 843 bus to Scarborough at 06-45 at the nearby Malton bus station Everything was immaculately clean including the shared toilet and shower and at the price charged the room was a bargain I would stay again as the accommodation is friendly towards Non binary and lgbt people and is also a great live music venue "

The last 2 need their own sentences as they were the highlights: I’m a massive foodie and go out of my way to eat in the best restaurants wherever I go - there was no need to travel very far on either evening as the hotel restaurant food was unbelievably good. The menu was very creative and quite ambitious - but my, did it deliver. Every morsel of food from breakfast to dinner on both days was exceptional - in terms of quality of ingredients, presentation, flavour and consistency! Even though everything was sooo good, I would still say that the top highlight was the service! Everyone was so genuinely kind and friendly and just couldn’t do enough for us. One lady even went to the shop to buy melon for my daughter for breakfast cos we told her how much my daughter loves melon! Thank you to all. Coming back with the whole family next year.
