The Warehouse style windows on the large window wall give you a direct view of the outdoors and lovely gardens, trees and sky all the way through the ravine and to the water. The jewel of the Steel Mill Industrial is the one of a kind antique "orb" chandelier in the great room. It was a real find in a Panama City Beach junk yard and shipped for the purpose of restoration and use in this rustic suite. The Master Bedroom and en-suite is spacious and has a large double shower with multiple shower heads and a rain feature. The fully appointed Kitchen has granite countertops and a copper sink. The black stainless full size appliances slip seamlessly into the decor. The modern comforts and amenities are all included. The Steel Mill Industrial sits right at the edge of the carefully manicured ravine, it has a bit of a view of the lake from the deck and great room. We have 2 deer feeding stations in the ravine and in view from your suite. They are lite up at night so you may enjoy the wildlife as they come in to eat through the evening. You will see them often as they sprint across the property. June is especially fun when the fawns start following their mommys around the area.

We have 2 deer feeding stations in the ravine and in view from your suite. They are lite up at night so you may enjoy the wildlife as they come in to eat through the evening. You will see them often as they sprint across the property. June is especially fun when the fawns start following their mommies around the area.

Located in a beautifully private wooded area, our Woods Cabin is the ideal location for peaceful and romantic getaways. The Woods Cabin features a single bedroom with a queen bed.

While staying here, you will have all the necessary accommodations for a comfortable stay. There is a complete kitchen containing an electric range, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, and all essential pots, pans, and dishes. There is also a dining table and seating available in the kitchen area.

The living room has a seasonal gas fireplace (closes April 30th for the season) and HDTV for your streaming purposes, DVD and CD player with several DVDS, a sofa, and a small table. The Woods Cabin also has internet access for guests. All linens and towels are provided (we provide one bath towel set and one hot tub towel for each registered guest). Flannel sheets are available upon request.

Outside of the cabin, there is a screened front porch and a private rear deck. A charcoal grill is available for cooking. Also located outside is a fire ring and a private, covered hot tub. Both firewood and charcoal can be purchased and made available upon request.

The Zen Garden is a 5 Star property is a delightful mix of log construction and eclectic design. The first thing you will notice is the WATERFALL in the beautiful gardens leading up to the decks. Step inside onto the high gloss beautiful marble like flooring throughout. The trapezoid style windows fully open up the gable end for a the large window wall that gives you a direct view of the outdoors and lovely gardens, trees and sky all the way through the ravine and to the water. The morning sun is especially beautiful streaming through the windows and simmering off the ceilings throughout. The Master Bedroom with king bed and en-suite is spacious and has a shower with a rain feature. The pebble shower floor flows freely through the bathroom and under the free standing angular tub and double vanity with beautiful mirrors. You have the feeling of a cobble stone path winding aimlessly. The fully appointed Kitchen has granite counter tops and a stainless sink. The black stainless full size appliances slip seamlessly into the decor. The modern comforts and amenities are all included. The loft expands for a second bedroom and bathroom so that you can enjoy with friends. The décor is extended to this space with no lack of detail. There is an additional TV. A silver loveseat and side chair round out the living room in the loft. It is a complete additional space for a second couple or friends travelling together. The 4 person hot tub, for your relaxing pleasure after a bike ride or hike or for no reason at all, is under a covered outdoor space. Enjoy it rain or shine. High speed Wi Fi make catching up with business or staying in touch with social media easy. Big screen Roku smart TVs in both bedrooms and great room. The Zen Gardens sits right at the edge of the carefully manicured ravine. There is a second garden called Zen Valley for the exclusive use of the guests of Zen gardens. It sits at the top of the ravine a few steps away in a secluded area for your enjoyment. Situated on the 7 acre property to ensure that every guest of the property has privacy. The suite is fully contained with all the amenities you would expect in a 5 Star European Lodge.

The deck overlooking the beautiful gardens and the ravine is just outside the great room through the sliding glass door. The gardens surrounding the suite are a delight. Relax outdoors on a cool evening and throw a steak on the gas grill and open a bottle of wine for an easy dinner at home. The suite has it's own hot tub completely private for only you. Slide into the warm and bubbly water for your relaxing pleasure.

Take your morning coffee on a comfortable walk around the lake and up through the ravine. Stop to enjoy on a bench along the way. Easy walking and beautiful views! Take out a canoe or kayak on the mirror like water. Explore the lovely coves of the lake-finding the water lily cove and the picturesque boat docks in front of one remaining old barn from a century ago. Rent a boat at the marina or bring your own. Cruise around the lake any afternoon. Drop a hook in the water and try your luck. Lake Logan is touted as the "best fishing lake in Ohio". Stop and take a dip in the water to cool off on a hot day. There is no end to the adventure you may experience here at our amazing property. (Let alone in 10+ state parks with a multitude of hikes, caves and waterfalls known as the Hocking Hills Region.) There are a multitude of beautiful spots to relax and enjoy the grounds and take in the ever changing views of the lake. The added enjoyment of the water rounds out your experience to the region. This large retreat-style home is the perfect place for relaxation here in the Hocking Hills region. At the end of a winding driveway, and surrounded by trees, Chevelle will be a warm welcome at the end of a day of adventure in the hills!
Relax in the hot tub, or around the fire pit on the concrete patio. Or, spend the evenings on the screened in porch, listening to the sound of bullfrogs in the nearby seasonal pond.

Redwing Retreat is located just outside of Athens, Ohio (home to Ohio University). It offers all of the comforts of home, plus the relaxing and replenishing effects of nature. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, and comfortably sleeps 6 people. It has a covered wrap-around porch with a hammock, plenty of lounge seating, and a grill. It is situated on 63 acres and is completely private. Athens and Ohio University are a short 20-25 minute drive away.

The cabin is a log home made of hemlock. It is about 1,000 square feet and it features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It comfortably sleeps 4-6 people. The first floor bedroom has a queen bed and the second floor bedroom (which spans the entire second floor) has a queen bed and two twin beds that can be combined to create a king bed. The cabin has hardwood floors throughout and a fully-equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub/shower combination, and comes complete with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.

The cabin has a covered wrap around porch that is perfect for relaxing during the day or viewing the stars at night. Redwing Retreat is also a nature-lovers paradise. There are 63 private and secluded acres. There is not another neighbor in sight. It truly is a hidden retreat away from it all. Cook any meal you'd like with our fully equipped kitchen a coffee maker, toaster, pots & pans, dishes, and plasticware. Grill out back on the Charcoal Grill, or have your meals over an open bonfire! the downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and private full bathroom for 100% privacy! There is another full bathroom in the hallway.

As you ascend the cabin's hillside location, approximately 100 feet up, be prepared for lovely views and a gentle reminder to pack light. While personal belongings may require a short hike, the serenity and seclusion make it all worthwhile. Across the road is a beautiful ravine. In the spring and fall, you can see rock outcroppings and if it has rained, there is a little waterfall. In the summer, your view will be a sea of green trees.

Step inside to discover a rustic retreat boasting one bedroom with a full-size bed and a sleeper sofa, accommodating up to two guests. Although running water is absent, an outhouse awaits your convenience and has a remote-control light that can be activated from the deck for nighttime necessities. Inside the cabin, a small foot pump sink provides a limited water supply.

While exploring the surroundings, take note of the cabin's unique features, the loft area is reserved for the host, but the cabin offers ample space and amenities to make your stay comfortable. This studio apartment has all you will need for a pretty self sufficient vacation: kitchenette with refrig/freezer and appliances, a large private bath, a sitting area with a Smart TV, a writing desk with room for your laptop and a queen size bed. This space is good for an overnight guest as well as very suitable for a longer term rental. The private back deck is perfect place for having a beer in the afternoon or stargazing at night.

The 5 acre property has mowed walking paths that are open to all The 50 foot screened porch, the kitchen and equipment found there are also available for guest use. Kitchen users are expected to clean up after themselves. The only area off-limits are the hosts' living quarters at the other end of this really big house.

We are self- employed basketmakers so we are home almost all the time, available to assist with needs, questions.

As basketmakers/ teachers we would love to tell you about our craft, honeysuckle basketry, a passion we have been pursuing for over 40 years. We have an abundance of this material on our property and are happy to take nature walks with interested guests. Our home was built in 1850, and sits on a hill overlooking the city of Logan. We are within 30 minutes travel to any of the hiking areas in the Hocking Hills State Park. We are happy to offer recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. Guests are welcome to enjoy any of the common areas of the home, including our great front porch!

The space
Ellie’s Room is the larger of the two guest rooms.

Guests will enjoy the extra large private bedroom and bath, with a queen size bed, comfy couch, small refrigerator, cable TV, ceiling fan, and gas fireplace. The bedroom includes an original wardrobe built in 1850. The adjacent bath is accessed by five steps from the bedroom. It has skylights and an antique clawfoot tub with a handheld shower attachment. The home has central air, and in addition this room also has its own window air conditioner.

Breakfast is served every morning in the dining room. Coffee and tea service is provided at least an hour before breakfast. Guests are welcome to enjoy it in their room, on the balcony, the front porch, side porch, back porch or at the picnic table. Mobile breakfasts are also available for those guests who wish to get a head start each day.

Guests have access to the dining room, family room, music room, foyers, front porch and yard. Guests do not have access to our private quarters, or the kitchen area or office.
