**Our Summit Point cabin is remotely located. Although most cars should have no problem during most of the year, during winter months and/or inclement weather 4WD is STRONGLY recommended.**

- Renter must be 25 years of age or older to rent Summit Point.
- Renter must provide a valid driver’s license copy that includes date of birth.
- Renter must agree to review and sign Rental Agreement (see attachment at end of booking process). Agreement will again be emailed to Renter after booking is accepted for electronic signature.
- Renter agrees to provide refundable $500 security deposit in the form of a "Pre-Authorization Hold" to Renter's credit card on file. Hold will be processed against Renter's credit card on file 24 hours prior to scheduled check-in.
- As the responsible member of your group, Renter will be responsible for anything that occurs during the stay. Renter must be present at Check-in and throughout the duration of the rental period.

The Steel Mill Industrial is a very upscale, 5 Star property for a delightful mix of log construction, roughly sawn cherry from the property and antique chandeliers. The Warehouse style windows on the large window wall give you a direct view of the outdoors and lovely gardens, trees and sky all the way through the ravine and to the water. The morning sun is especially beautiful streaming through the windows and simmering off the metallic copper ceilings throughout. The jewel of the Steel Mill Industrial is the one of a kind antique "orb" chandelier in the great room. It was a real find in a Panama City Beach junk yard and shipped for the purpose of restoration and use in this rustic suite. The Master Bedroom and en-suite is spacious and has a large double shower with multiple shower heads and a rain feature. The fully appointed Kitchen has granite countertops and a copper sink. The black stainless full size appliances slip seamlessly into the decor. The modern comforts and amenities are all included. Sauna and massage chair round out the loft for your relaxing pleasure after a bike ride or hike or for no reason at all. High speed Wi Fi make catching up with business or staying in touch with social media easy. Big screen Roku smart TVs in both the bedroom and great room. Handicap friendly – In the design we have integrated several features which will make this suite accessible to wheelchairs. While we are not ADA, our hope is to make it easier for our guests with disabilities to be comfortable here.

The Steel Mill Industrial sits right at the edge of the carefully manicured ravine, it has a bit of a view of the lake from the deck and great room. Situated on the 7 acre property to ensure that every guest of the property has privacy. The suite is fully contained with all the amenities you would expect in a 5 Star European Lodge.

The deck overlooking the beautiful gardens and the ravine is just outside the great room through the sliding glass door. The gardens surrounding the suite are a delight. Relax on a cool evening with a fire in the privacy of your own space. Throw a steak on the gas grill and open a bottle of wine for an easy dinner at home. The suite has it's own hot tub on the adjoining deck, completely private for only you. Slide into the warm and bubbly water for your relaxing pleasure.

Take your morning coffee on a comfortable walk around the lake and up through the ravine. Stop to enjoy on a bench along the way. Easy walking and beautiful views! Take out a canoe or kayak on the mirror like water. Explore the lovely coves of the lake-finding the water lily cove and the picturesque boat docks in front of one remaining old barns from a century ago. Rent a boat at the marina or bring your own. Cruise around the lake any afternoon. Drop a hook in the water and try your luck. Lake Logan is touted as the "best fishing lake in Ohio". Stop and take a dip in the water to cool off on a hot day. There is no end to the adventure you may experience here at our amazing property. (Let alone in 10+ state parks with a multitude of hikes, caves and waterfalls known as the Hocking Hills Region.)

There are a multitude of beautiful spots to relax and enjoy the grounds and take in the ever changing views of the lake. The added enjoyment of the water rounds out your experience to the region. If you never left our property to enjoy a hike in the caves or a zip line through the canopy, you would have a special vacation enjoying the property and the special energy of the Hocking Hills.

There is a large outdoor fire pit called the "Summit Fire pit" situated on a large green space across from the Château that you may enjoy anytime. Meet other guests from our other cabins while you explore the many amenities available to you. Firewood is available $.

We have 2 deer feeding stations in the ravine and in view from your suite. They are lite up at night so you may enjoy the wildlife as they come in to eat through the evening. You will see them often as they sprint across the property. June is especially fun when the fawns start following their mommys around the area.

We have kayaks, canoes and mountain bikes that you may use at no extra charge.

The Paris Art Deco sits right at the edge of the carefully manicured ravine, it has a bit of a view of the lake from the deck and great room. Situated on the 7 acre property to ensure that every guest of the property has privacy. The suite is fully contained with all the amenities you would expect in a 5 Star European Lodge.

The deck overlooking the beautiful gardens and the ravine is just outside the great room through the sliding glass door. The gardens surrounding the suite are a delight. Relax on a cool evening with a fire in the privacy of your own space. Throw a steak on the gas grill and open a bottle of wine for an easy dinner at home. The suite has it's own hot tub on the adjoining deck, completely private for only you. Slide into the warm and bubbly water for your relaxing pleasure.

Take your morning coffee on a comfortable walk around the lake and up through the ravine. Stop to enjoy on a bench along the way. Easy walking and beautiful views! Take out a canoe or kayak on the mirror like water. Explore the lovely coves of the lake-finding the water lily cove and the picturesque boat docks in front of one remaining old barn from a century ago. Rent a boat at the marina or bring your own. There is a large outdoor fire pit called the "Summit Fire pit" situated on a large green space across from the Château that you may enjoy anytime. Meet other guests from our other cabins while you explore the many amenities available to you. All of the stone for this fire pit came from our Lodge called The Summit about 6 miles away – hence the name. Firewood is available $.

We have kayaks, canoes and mountain bikes that you may use at no extra charge. There are 2 easy places to launch right from our property.

We have 2 deer feeding stations in the ravine and in view from your suite. They are lite up at night so you may enjoy the wildlife as they come in to eat through the evening. You will see them often as they sprint across the property. June is especially fun when the fawns start following their mommies around the area.

Located in a beautifully private wooded area, our Woods Cabin is the ideal location for peaceful and romantic getaways. The Woods Cabin features a single bedroom with a queen bed.

While staying here, you will have all the necessary accommodations for a comfortable stay. There is a complete kitchen containing an electric range, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, and all essential pots, pans, and dishes. There is also a dining table and seating available in the kitchen area.

The living room has a seasonal gas fireplace (closes April 30th for the season) and HDTV for your streaming purposes, DVD and CD player with several DVDS, a sofa, and a small table. The Woods Cabin also has internet access for guests. All linens and towels are provided (we provide one bath towel set and one hot tub towel for each registered guest). Flannel sheets are available upon request.

Outside of the cabin, there is a screened front porch and a private rear deck. A charcoal grill is available for cooking. Also located outside is a fire ring and a private, covered hot tub. Both firewood and charcoal can be purchased and made available upon request.

The decor gave a very modern fancy feel but then the outdoor space reminded us that were were away from the city and able to relax. The kitchen had everything we needed. Redwing Retreat is located just outside of Athens, Ohio (home to Ohio University). It offers all of the comforts of home, plus the relaxing and replenishing effects of nature. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, and comfortably sleeps 6 people. It has a covered wrap-around porch with a hammock, plenty of lounge seating, and a grill. It is situated on 63 acres and is completely private. Athens and Ohio University are a short 20-25 minute drive away.

The cabin is a log home made of hemlock. It is about 1,000 square feet and it features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It comfortably sleeps 4-6 people. The first floor bedroom has a queen bed and the second floor bedroom (which spans the entire second floor) has a queen bed and two twin beds that can be combined to create a king bed. The cabin has hardwood floors throughout and a fully-equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub/shower combination, and comes complete with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.

The cabin has a covered wrap around porch that is perfect for relaxing during the day or viewing the stars at night. The porch features an outdoor dining room table, rocking chairs, plenty of lounge seating, and a hammock. The cabin is located on a gravel road that's a little bumpy and slightly steep in spots, but it’s well-traveled and manageable for most vehicles. During winter weather, AWD or 4WD might be helpful, though professional snow removal is provided.

The cabin uses well water. It’s safe to drink, but if you’re sensitive to the taste, you may want to bring bottled water. A refrigerator filtration system is also in place.

Cell service is generally good for AT&T and T-Mobile, and fair for Verizon, though occasional dropped calls can occur in the area.

Less than 5 minutes from parts of Wayne National Forest, and just 20 minutes from Old Man’s Cave and the Hocking Hills trail system, Cardinal Cabin offers the perfect blend of natural beauty and modern comfort.

The stove is a little lacking to my standards. Pans took a long time to heat up and cooked food somewhat unevenly. The advertised fishing pond did not seem stocked when we went to fish, but this could be because we booked our stay during the tail end of winter. Chlorine content for Hot Tub is quite high. Irritated my and my partner’s skin, and we had to shower after every single time we used it. All of these are minor complaints. Cabin was still comfortable, and most amenities worked great. Was a bit far from the most iconic hikes in hocking hills (30 minutes from old man’s cave, cantwell cliffs), so keep that in mind before booking."

The location is unbeatable, as many other cabins in the area require a 20-30 minute drive to reach the trails. This cabin, however, offers proximity to everything in Hocking Hills.

Between each turnover, a professional cleaner ensures cleanliness of the cabin and hot tub.

Starlink High Speed Internet

Cellular reception in this area and at the cabin is limited, but usually fine for basic phone calls and texts. It can be difficult/limited for picture messages for non iPhones. iMessage and apps work well with WiFi.

We provide: bedding and blankets, fan, iron, hair dryer, plenty of towels for hot tub and bath/shower, basic coffee, cleaning supplies including dish soap and sponge.

Driveway is gravel, but not steep, 4WD not needed (any car will be ok!). This is unique for Hocking Hills, which is a generally hilly area. Cabin is close to a main road for easy access.

While the treehouse cabins provide a unique getaway for all, we have a very special mission at Jay Bear’s Retreat: “Giving families of special needs children the opportunity to make memories while enjoying all nature has to offer.” Our son, nicknamed Jay Bear, was born 14 weeks premature and spent the first 5 months of his life in the NICU. Our family knows first hand how important it is to spend time together, but how difficult it can be with so many doctor and therapy appointments. Once a month we will offer a family with a special needs child a free getaway to make new memories that will last a lifetime. As we grow, we plan to expand and use a portion of the rental income to build a third treehouse that will be used 100% for these special families.

The three cabins are nestled on a 1/4 mile long ridge top on an 80 acre wooded property. Each cabin also has its own private fire pit which is stocked with split firewood.

Dogwood Ridge Farms is made up of 180 acres of pristine Appalachian Foot Hills situated in the Heart of Hocking Hills. You will have full access to the entire property during your stay. Bring your hiking boots, we have miles and miles of trails. You will also enjoy an abundance of wildlife that can be seen right from the deck. Our cabin guests will have shared access to the hiking trails and farm animals. We ask that you respect our other guests by staying at least 100 yards from our other rentals on site.
Rates shown are for 2 guests per night. Each additional guest, regardless of age, will be an additional $40 per guest per night. Note that we have two other rentals on the property that may have guests. The barn is 1/4 mile or more away, so you can’t see or hear them, the other cabin is 100yards away but separated by trees.
