The cabin is within walking distance of various shops and restaurants in historic Fayetteville. There are many activities in the area: white water rafting, zip lining, rock climbing, mountain biking and hiking. In the winter, Winterplace Ski area is about 40 minutes away and there are various areas in the vicinity of the cabin to cross country ski. Right out the front door of the cabin, hiking trails are accessible leading to Wolf Creek, Long Point (3mi) and Kaymoor (2 mi).

A minimum of two (2) night stay is required - $250/night with holiday rate of $300/night

- "The Kaymoor house is located within a beautiful, wooded development just north of Fayetteville. Our GPS was a little off, so pay close attention to the community signs in front of each property if you arrive in the dark. Once you have found it, it won't be a problem. A quick 5 minute drive to Fayetteville or the New River Gorge Visitor Center, the location could hardly be more convenient. The home itself is spacious and lovely. A great family destination. The master suite is very nice although an upgrade on the mattress would be appreciated. The location is at the north end of the national park and there are many activities nearby. The central and southern portions of the park would require a drive and a bit of planning ahead. We loved it!"

Beautiful stone lodge with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs and 1 bedroom and 1 bath downstairs. The house was completely remodeled in 2012/2013. Amenities include hardwood and tile floors, granite counter tops, gas log fireplaces, large covered porches on front and back, pool table in finished basement. The area is secluded with beautiful mountain views, yet within walking distance of many area attractions. Sleeping accommodations include a master bedroom with king bed and master bath, two bedrooms with twin beds upstairs share a second bath. A bedroom with 4 bunk beds and a full bath is located in the lower level. The living room has a queen size pull out couch and the basement has a queen size futon. The property contains a stone fire pit and horseshoe court. Many of the restaurants and pubs in town are within a 20 to 30 minute walking distance. The national park boundary and New River Gorge bridge are less than 2 miles away.

- "I must say the Ramsey stone lodge has everything you need in a VRBO rental . Having used VRBO here in the U.S. and abroad multiple times this property is as I said perfect . One of things that was impressive about the home was the many cooking utensils that were available including multiple cookie sheets. The house was very clean which I think everyone appreciates in a rental. Nice towels in bathrooms , bedding even the bunk beds were comfortable. Having a bathroom and shower downstairs was super convenient for the five guys that stayed down there . Bunk beds and queen futon are downstairs. When it rained briefly we shifted gears from cornhole to playing pool in the basement, nice table and just a great setup!!!! I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how kind and helpful Bill & Sally were to help make our trip one for the memories!!! The lodge is so perfectly located if you want to go rafting or zip lining there are two of the bigger outfitters just a short drive away!!! Top of the Hill is located a little over a mile from the courthouse in downtown Fayetteville, West Virginia. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin features 2 queen size beds and one queen sized sleeper sofa. We also have two twin sized sleeping mats for additional sleeping space in the loft. The cabin will comfortably sleep 6-8 guest. The cabin features hardwood and tile throughout, and a full kitchen. There is a Keurig available to use (K cups not provided). The cabin features a washer and dryer for the use of our guest. Outside there is a large patio, picnic table, charcoal grill, fire ring, and porch for your enjoyment.

The cabin is located across the street from Cantrell Ultimate Rafting’s base camp. With a minimum two night stay at The Top of the Hill Cabin during the 2023 season, Cantrell Rafting will offer cabin guests a $109 Double run on the Lower New River. Double the whitewater with lunch! Ages 10 and up. This super discounted price is available 7 days a week from May-August (not valid in October). During Gauley Season we are offering a Thursday special this year. Cabin rental on Thursday night for $175 plus tax, cleaning fee, and a Friday morning Lower Gauley trip for $99/person (4 person minimum), or Upper Gauley for $119/person.

The cabin can only be accessed with a 4WD vehicle as it is at the top of a very steep driveway. The cabin is conveniently located to many of Fayette County’s recreation opportunities including climbing, hiking, and rafting.

The cabin is about 1.3 miles from the Long Point trail head, a 1.6 mile trail to an amazing overlook of the New River Gorge Bridge.

The Arrowhead bike trails are just under 3 miles from the cabin offering over 12 miles of mountain bike tails.

The New River Gorge Bridge is 2.8 miles from our door.

The New River Gorge Preserve is a private, gated community tucked in the forest, full of trails and overlooks, just minutes from downtown Fayetteville.

Our home was completed in the summer of 2020 and has 3500 square feet with an open floor plan to accommodate large groups or families.

A matching tree house with rock-climbing wall and swing sit in backyard. A fire pit with string lights sits on the side of the house. I do my best to make sure there is always fire wood.

A huge wrap-around porch is the perfect place to relax, eat or use it as a race track on rainy days (like my kids do).

A new electric vehicle (EV) charging station allows you to have a full charge for your drive home.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all kitchen utensils, appliances, a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. Coffee and (10) k-cups supplied.

Each bathroom has shampoo, conditioner and body soap dispensers.

A closet near the dining room includes: a high chair, booster seat, hiking carrier, pack n play, sound machine, blow-up mattress, baby gate and bed bumpers.

Unwind in this lovely little cabin, Willow Ridge Cottage. This cabin accommodates 4 people, with 1 bdr on the main floor with a queen bed, and a loft that has two twin beds. You will have 1.5 bathrooms with all the essentials, including bath towels, wash cloths and hand towels. You will also have a limited supply of toilet tissue. We have taken a lot of pride in building this new structure, completed in the fall of 2024. This cabin has a fully functional kitchen, with all new appliances, beautiful hardwood floors, wood walls, and beautiful live edge vanities. We believe you will be able to rest and make wonderful memories while exploring our little neck of the woods. The stairs, although not a ladder, are steeper than normal stairs. The treads are very unique and have live edge, so the widths are different on each tread.
External security cameras on property. The property is equipped with ring doorbells which records audio and video upon motion for security. The are focused on the driveway, parking area, and walkway.
