**Our Summit Point cabin is remotely located. Although most cars should have no problem during most of the year, during winter months and/or inclement weather 4WD is STRONGLY recommended.**

- Renter must be 25 years of age or older to rent Summit Point.
- Renter must provide a valid driver’s license copy that includes date of birth.
- Renter must agree to review and sign Rental Agreement (see attachment at end of booking process). Agreement will again be emailed to Renter after booking is accepted for electronic signature.
- Renter agrees to provide refundable $500 security deposit in the form of a "Pre-Authorization Hold" to Renter's credit card on file. Hold will be processed against Renter's credit card on file 24 hours prior to scheduled check-in.
- As the responsible member of your group, Renter will be responsible for anything that occurs during the stay. Renter must be present at Check-in and throughout the duration of the rental period.
- Rates vary on time of year - All reservations have a maximum occupancy of 4 guests.

The Steel Mill Industrial is a very upscale, 5 Star property for a delightful mix of log construction, roughly sawn cherry from the property and antique chandeliers. The Warehouse style windows on the large window wall give you a direct view of the outdoors and lovely gardens, trees and sky all the way through the ravine and to the water. The morning sun is especially beautiful streaming through the windows and simmering off the metallic copper ceilings throughout. The jewel of the Steel Mill Industrial is the one of a kind antique "orb" chandelier in the great room. It was a real find in a Panama City Beach junk yard and shipped for the purpose of restoration and use in this rustic suite. The Master Bedroom and en-suite is spacious and has a large double shower with multiple shower heads and a rain feature. The fully appointed Kitchen has granite countertops and a copper sink. The black stainless full size appliances slip seamlessly into the decor. The modern comforts and amenities are all included. Sauna and massage chair round out the loft for your relaxing pleasure after a bike ride or hike or for no reason at all. High speed Wi Fi make catching up with business or staying in touch with social media easy. Big screen Roku smart TVs in both the bedroom and great room. Handicap friendly – In the design we have integrated several features which will make this suite accessible to wheelchairs. Roll in shower-large bathroom-additional roll up vanity-accessible Kitchen-straight in ramp from the parking lot-no step to the deck. While we are not ADA, our hope is to make it easier for our guests with disabilities to be comfortable here.

The Steel Mill Industrial sits right at the edge of the carefully manicured ravine, it has a bit of a view of the lake from the deck and great room. Situated on the 7 acre property to ensure that every guest of the property has privacy. The suite is fully contained with all the amenities you would expect in a 5 Star European Lodge.

The deck overlooking the beautiful gardens and the ravine is just outside the great room through the sliding glass door. The gardens surrounding the suite are a delight. Relax on a cool evening with a fire in the privacy of your own space. Throw a steak on the gas grill and open a bottle of wine for an easy dinner at home. The suite has it's own hot tub on the adjoining deck, completely private for only you. Slide into the warm and bubbly water for your relaxing pleasure.

Take your morning coffee on a comfortable walk around the lake and up through the ravine. Stop to enjoy on a bench along the way. Easy walking and beautiful views! Take out a canoe or kayak on the mirror like water. Explore the lovely coves of the lake-finding the water lily cove and the picturesque boat docks in front of one remaining old barns from a century ago. Rent a boat at the marina or bring your own. Cruise around the lake any afternoon. Drop a hook in the water and try your luck. Lake Logan is touted as the "best fishing lake in Ohio". Stop and take a dip in the water to cool off on a hot day. There are a multitude of beautiful spots to relax and enjoy the grounds and take in the ever changing views of the lake. The added enjoyment of the water rounds out your experience to the region. If you never left our property to enjoy a hike in the caves or a zip line through the canopy, you would have a special vacation enjoying the property and the special energy of the Hocking Hills.

There is a large outdoor fire pit called the "Summit Fire pit" situated on a large green space across from the Château that you may enjoy anytime. Meet other guests from our other cabins while you explore the many amenities available to you. Firewood is available $.

We have 2 deer feeding stations in the ravine and in view from your suite. They are lite up at night so you may enjoy the wildlife as they come in to eat through the evening. You will see them often as they sprint across the property. June is especially fun when the fawns start following their mommys around the area.

We have kayaks, canoes and mountain bikes that you may use at no extra charge.

Located in a beautifully private wooded area, our Woods Cabin is the ideal location for peaceful and romantic getaways. The Woods Cabin features a single bedroom with a queen bed.

While staying here, you will have all the necessary accommodations for a comfortable stay. There is a complete kitchen containing an electric range, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, and all essential pots, pans, and dishes. There is also a dining table and seating available in the kitchen area.

The living room has a seasonal gas fireplace (closes April 30th for the season) and HDTV for your streaming purposes, DVD and CD player with several DVDS, a sofa, and a small table. The Woods Cabin also has internet access for guests. All linens and towels are provided (we provide one bath towel set and one hot tub towel for each registered guest). Flannel sheets are available upon request.

Outside of the cabin, there is a screened front porch and a private rear deck. A charcoal grill is available for cooking. Also located outside is a fire ring and a private, covered hot tub. Both firewood and charcoal can be purchased and made available upon request.

The Zen Garden is a 5 Star property is a delightful mix of log construction and eclectic design. The first thing you will notice is the WATERFALL in the beautiful gardens leading up to the decks. Step inside onto the high gloss beautiful marble like flooring throughout. The trapezoid style windows fully open up the gable end for a the large window wall that gives you a direct view of the outdoors and lovely gardens, trees and sky all the way through the ravine and to the water. The morning sun is especially beautiful streaming through the windows and simmering off the ceilings throughout. The Master Bedroom with king bed and en-suite is spacious and has a shower with a rain feature. The pebble shower floor flows freely through the bathroom and under the free standing angular tub and double vanity with beautiful mirrors. You have the feeling of a cobble stone path winding aimlessly. The fully appointed Kitchen has granite counter tops and a stainless sink. The black stainless full size appliances slip seamlessly into the decor. The modern comforts and amenities are all included. It sits at the top of the ravine a few steps away in a secluded area for your enjoyment. Situated on the 7 acre property to ensure that every guest of the property has privacy. The deck overlooking the beautiful gardens and the ravine is just outside the great room through the sliding glass door. The gardens surrounding the suite are a delight. Slide into the warm and bubbly water for your relaxing pleasure.

Explore the lovely coves of the lake-finding the water lily cove and the picturesque boat docks in front of one remaining old barn from a century ago. Rent a boat at the marina or bring your own. Definitely will be back!" - "It was a great, private, and quiet get-away." - "Few notable things: There is no dishwasher on site, so bring disposable utensils if you do not want to do dishes during your trip. The stove is a little lacking to my standards. Pans took a long time to heat up and cooked food somewhat unevenly. The advertised fishing pond did not seem stocked when we went to fish, but this could be because we booked our stay during the tail end of winter. Chlorine content for Hot Tub is quite high. Irritated my and my partner’s skin, and we had to shower after every single time we used it. All of these are minor complaints. Cabin was still comfortable, and most amenities worked great. Was a bit far from the most iconic hikes in hocking hills (30 minutes from old man’s cave, cantwell cliffs), so keep that in mind before booking."

LOCATION
Located just 10-15 minutes away, you'll find lots of activities, including hiking trails, kayaking/canoeing, horseback riding, zip-lining, boating on Lake Logan, as well as the top restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The location is unbeatable, as many other cabins in the area require a 20-30 minute drive to reach the trails. This cabin, however, offers proximity to everything in Hocking Hills.

CLEANING
Between each turnover, a professional cleaner ensures cleanliness of the cabin and hot tub.

Starlink High Speed Internet

Cellular reception in this area and at the cabin is limited, but usually fine for basic phone calls and texts. It can be difficult/limited for picture messages for non iPhones. iMessage and apps work well with WiFi.

We provide: bedding and blankets, fan, iron, hair dryer, plenty of towels for hot tub and bath/shower, basic coffee, cleaning supplies including dish soap and sponge.

Driveway is gravel, but not steep, 4WD not needed (any car will be ok!). This is unique for Hocking Hills, which is a generally hilly area. Cabin is close to a main road for easy access.

Once a month we will offer a family with a special needs child a free getaway to make new memories that will last a lifetime. As we grow, we plan to expand and use a portion of the rental income to build a third treehouse that will be used 100% for these special families.

Well behaved pets are welcome but require an additional pet fee per reservation that will need to be selected when you make your reservation.

The three cabins are nestled on a 1/4 mile long ridge top on an 80 acre wooded property. Guests are encouraged to explore the ridge top and to take advantage of the common fire pit at the end of the ridge with a fantastic view. Each cabin also has its own private fire pit which is stocked with split firewood.

Our cabins have been built and inspected by commercial standards as required by the State of Ohio. Have peace of mind knowing your family's safety is a number one concern of ours.

The Ivy Cottage, was our first build. It's named after our youngest granddaughter Ivy lynn.

The Ivy cottage is a modern style barndominium with white shiplap walls, sliding barn doors, gas fireplace, full size kitchen, dining area, living area, 3 bedrooms ( 1 with full size bunk beds), 2 spa showers and baths. Outside there are 6 rockers on the covered front porch to relax and enjoy nature at its finest. On the back deck we have a large fully covered dining area and large hot tub. outside the back deck is a fire pit and chairs for everyone to enjoy a cozy fire while roasting hot dogs, or having smores. We also have a gas grill with grilling utensils, outdoor games and swing.

The Chalets Old Man's Cave Location is home to 30 units on 140 acres that back-up to the Hocking Forest. Chalets resort pool, SaunaPods, electric vehicle charging stations and our office are on site. A General Store is right next door - offering 24 flavors of softserve in addition to the basics. All the properties on this campus enjoy true high-speed internet (not common in the Hocking Hills!) This campus is two miles from the epicenter of the region: the Hocking Hills State Park visitors center and great hiking.
