Maybe you want to play in the mud on the ATV trails, no problem head out the driveway and ride for miles. The village has many small roads for you to venture on peaceful walks or rent an E Bike and explore our various screenhouses on the property. If you follow the walking roads to the end of the property, we have a large screen house with a vast view of what nature is in the Adirondack Park. This screenhouse is set up for you to grill a meal, enjoy a campfire or just sit and take in the moment.

There are canoes and kayaks you can launch and paddle around in Otter Creek. If you travel one mile up the road you can enjoy our main property, the Trailside Ranch where we have a swimming hole with a dock and pavilion by the waterfalls. This is a great way to cool off on a hot summer day.

The Falls Cabin is a two-bedroom cabin that sleeps 6. The location of this Adirondack cabin is a pristine, private setting that is nestled back in the woods. A fully equipped kitchen, a propane grill on the porch. This comfy cabin is heated using a propane fireplace to enjoy warm winter nights.

There is a covered front porch with A relaxing view of Otter Creek. Your yard is complete with your own private firepit with campfire seating. In front of your cabin, is our private swimming hole with a dock and ladder for easy access to take a swim on a hot summer day. There are park benches along the banks of the creek to sit and listen to the falls. The yard has a pavilion with table chairs and a charcoal grill to enjoy dinner alongside the water.

Take a short walk down the driveway where you will see our main Ranch home and beautiful horse pastures where you will see our friendly horses Derek and Daisy. They love visitors and are sure to greet you at their fence for some petting. Across from the horse pastures you will see our other three cabins.

This is a brand new fully furnished 2 story house in the woods! Construction will be finished in April and will be ready to accommodate guests at the beginning of May! ABOUT TRAILSIDE RANCH • Located inside the Adirondack Park, Trailside Ranch is a ten acre, off the grid ranch, at the end of Partridgeville Road and the beginning of Paradise! CABIN RENTALS • Your Trailside Ranchhosts are Tiffany and Adam Light along with their daughter and son in law, Makena and Jonah Denton. On site hosts are always available. Our Sugar Shack cabin was originally built circa 1940 and rebuilt in 2018. The cabin has been completely modernized and refurbished yet maintains its original authentic rustic charm. It is a beautiful one bedroom, 1 full bath cabin that sleeps 2 guests; The master bedroom overlooks beautiful Otter Creek where you can enjoy the peacefulness of water flowing whiling falling asleep at night. It has a private screened in porch with a propane fireplace that also lends a view of Otter Creek. There is an open kitchen dining area, And a cozy living room with a propane fireplace. The Sugar Shack has a full service kitchen equipped with dinnerware, appliances and cooking utensils. Linens andtowels are supplied for each guest. The comfy cabin is heated using a propane fireplace. There is a gas grill for outside cooking. Smoking is allowed on the porch only and is not permitted in the cabins.

HORSES ARE WELCOME• The spacious, lighted stalls that can accommodate up to 10 horses. Stalls are firstcome first serve. Please call ahead to check stall availability. The cost per stall is $35.00 per night. Ourfenced pastures provide ample grazing for your horse(s).Water is available at the stables. Guests must bring their own hay and grain. All required vet records need to be provided prior to bringing horses to our stables.

ATV RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE ON SITE. Contact your host if you are interested in renting a side by side to explore the beautiful trails or just ride around the area visiting waterfalls, going to dinner and just enjoying the outdoors.

SNOWMOBILE RENTALS AVAILABLE ON SITE. Contact your host if you are interested in renting a snowmobile to explore the beautiful trails. The circle drive allows ample parking for vehicles as well as cargo trailers for all your toys. If those activities aren't of interest, indulge yourself in a game of golf at the public 18 hole course. There are local state fishing areas or just walk down the hill from the house to fish off the bridge. If your more into adventure, take a trip into the mountains to hike on hundreds of the most beautiful trails the Adirondack Park has to offer. Old Forge and the Adirondack Museum are fun day trips. On the weekends, just 3 miles from from the house and Valley Brooke Drive-Inn Movie Theater hosts a flea market by day and movies with refreshments by night. Just up the road In Brantingham are restaurants and bars or just mosey down into Lowville for all the conveniences small town America has to offer...including yes, local eateries, mom and pop shops, and even a Walmart. The winery located just outside of town can provide a lovely selection of vino and small plates while you watch the beautiful sunset over tug hill before ending a quiet relaxing evening by your campfire.

Plenty of instructions to help figure them out. We had trouble getting in but were able to reach Kelly and Louis straight away and they got us inside. There are lots of interesting places to see in the area. We recommend The Black River Canal Museum in Boonesville. Great places to eat in Lowville (Jeb's). We highly recommend the cabin. "

This cozy cabin for two resonates with a quaint cottage in the woods. It has an open floor plan that will make you feel at home all day long. The village has many small roads for you to venture on peaceful walks or rent an E Bike and explore our various screenhouses on the property. If you follow the walking roads to the end of the property, we have a large screen house with a vast view of what nature is in the Adirondack Park. This screenhouse is set up for you to grill a meal, enjoy a campfire or just sit and take in the moment.

There are canoes and kayaks you can launch and paddle around in Otter Creek. If you travel one mile up the road you can enjoy our main property, the Trailside Ranch where we have a swimming hole with a dock and pavilion by the waterfalls. This is a great way to cool off on a hot summer day.

Are you looking for adventure? We offer E-Bike rentals & S x S rentals to our guests; you can rent a two passenger UTV or a 5 passenger UTV. We provide helmets, maps and a detailed overview of the trails where you can travel to many restaurants, scenic areas, waterfalls and see the many trails that Lewis County has to offer for recreational outdoor sports.

(Weather, not so much...)" - "This 2-bedroom property offers a serene, private location on an inlet of Lake Brantingham where kayaks, pontoons and small motorboats regularly pass. The Horse Barn Cabin is a three-bedroom cabin that sleeps 10 guest and has 7 beds. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and twin bunk beds. Upstairs you follow separate staircases to each bedroom which has a full size and twin bed. You can sit on the front porch and have a view of our beautiful horse pastures where you will see our friendly horses Derek and Daisy. They love visitors and are sure to greet you at their fence for some petting.

The back porch is fully screened in and perfect for a dinner on the porch with a view of your private fire pit with built in benches to accommodate your entire family.

Take a short walk down the driveway where you will see our main Ranch home and our private swimming hole that features a dock for easy access to take a nice swim on a hot summer day.

Stayed a few nights
The island and the cabin were beyond expectations. Getting out to the island was seamless. Once there it was beautiful, serene, yet plenty to do. Swimming, fire pit, hammocks, movie in bed the one evening it rained. We had a great time fishing from the smaller boats and the docks. And caught fish from both(large mouth, small mouth, and several BIG rainbow trout). I'd highly suggest upgrading to a pontoon boat for a day as it was so much fun and quite reasonable rates. JP somehow achieved being there "without" being there. If we needed anything at all, he was all over it. But we never felt like the place wasn't ours for the time we stayed. He's friendly and easy going. JP genuinely loves what he does and it shows in the quality of his stays. We are looking forward to returning. The only problem is in deciding whether to do the same cabin again or to try another, as they're all beautiful and have their own perks! Don't second guess it. Just book it before it's gone.

We had a great time at the cabin. JP made us feel welcomed immediately. Very responsive to any questions we had. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and grill. A comfy bed with an amazing view. Loved the projector screen to watch movies, and beautifully lit up at night to enjoy the fire pit and hot tub. Would definitely come back, and next time plan on renting a jet ski or ATV to explore.

Had an amazing stay at Stabbin Cabin #2!! Seamless transport to and from the island by JP with our luggage, and very clear guide about the accommodation. Anything we needed, JP was very helpful and responsive. So much thought put into this island. Will definitely be returning next summer!

Grant Island is a 2 acre island which has 2 main houses and three tiny homes.
Management lives in the primary house and the second house is rented to groups of up to 8 guests.

This Tiny home located on a slice of Grant Island comes equipped with a Queen size bed and Epic picturesque view over Brantingham Lake from the large 5'x 8' window.

Doubling as a curtain over the window the electric projector screen can be lowered from bed by remote control to turn your view into a surround sound, cinematic viewing experience.

Our system has a Roku as well as a Xbox 360 with a real and Guitar Hero setup so you can play Guitar Hero

Pull down the dining table and benches to open up the Murphy-style table and chairs and explore your cooking options.

We have an air fryer, microwave, hotplate, hot water kettle, toaster, coffee maker and water filtration system, on the sink, to make sure you have clean drinking water at all times.

We supply you with plates, dishes, bowls, pots, pans, utensils and more. If we don't have it, just ask us, and if we have it, we will get it to you.

A cafe dining setup on the Balcony provides you with your own private outdoor dining experience that is perfect for the morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

On the side of the bed is our charging platform that has just about every phone charger in use including wireless charging.

For privacy, we have curtains and shades for the house's many windowsŕ that usually will douse you with sunlight all day long.

If you like to sleep in and worry about light coming in and waking you up. Don't fret. We have designer face masks to block the light and let you get your much-needed rest.

Just 50 feet from the Stabbin Cabin entrance is the bathroom. The bathroom is shared with the guests of our other small cottages. (if there are any)

There are entrances on each side of the bathroom. One is for the Toilet and Sink and the other is for the Shower. Both have separate entrances so both can be occupied at the same time. Each door has a vacant/occupied sign to let you know when it's available for everyone's consideration.

The Hot Tub is perfect for those cool evenings to warm your bones. Jump in and enjoy the bubbles.
We have some of the darkest skys in New England. It's an amazing place to StarGaze. For 2025 we will have a Telescope for exploring the skies.

The Beach Area has many chairs and two docks so that you can almost always have your own area. We have a diving board that is available for you.

Included in your rental are 3 electric boats for you to explore Brantingham Lake and go fishing or transport yourself back and forth from the mainland parking area.

Your rental includes a Canoe to use as well.

We have a boat rental business on-site and offer our guests a 20% discount on Pontoon Boats, ATV's, Jetskis, Kayaks, SUPS, Paddleboats and more. After reserving, we will send you our comprehensive house manual with all details on how to upgrade your experience and redeem your 20% discount.

Brantingham Lake is well known for its families of Loons which make themselves known in the evening with their unique calls that echo around the still lake.

We allow one dog. 20 Lb maximum. It's $50 extra. If you wish to bring your pup make sure to add this to your reservation.

We will consider dogs larger than 20 lbs on a case-by-case basis. Please make sure to consult us before making your reservation to check on this. There will be an additional charge, if the dog is accepted. This can be paid on arrival.

All Dog visitors must be friendly and non-agressive. If you have a dog who has ever shown aggression, we ask that do not bring them or keep them leashed during their stay.

The owners of the island have a small dog that , at times, will come visit and say hello to our guests. We prefer to keep a harmonious atmosphere on the island so any animals with aggressive histories will not be allowed. If you have any questions or concerns about this please reach out to us.

There is a hot tub on the premises and we have decided to make it available for guest use for an upcharge of $25 per night plus a $75 cleaning fee. Please inquire/request at the time of booking so that a waiver can be emailed and signed. The additional fee will be requested through VRBO.

The Homestead Cabin is a three-bedroom cabin, with all the amenities of home. This cabin sleeps 10 guests and has 7 beds. The main bedroom is on the first floor with a queen size bed. Upstairs are two large bedrooms, each with a full and two twin beds.

The beautiful wrap around porch is the perfect spot to enjoy watching our horses frolic in the pastures, looking for a screen in area, enjoy the large back porch where you can enjoy the view of Otter Creek as you listen to the water flowing. Exit the screen porch directly to your large firepit area with built in benches and enjoy a warm campfire at night.

On a hot summer day, take a walk and enjoy a swim in your back yard or walk up to our swimming hole which has waterfalls and a dock for easy access.

Take a short walk down the driveway where you will see our main Ranch home and beautiful horse pastures, here you will see our friendly horses Derek and Daisy. They love visitors and are sure to greet you at their fence for some petting. If you need more space, interested in a large group vacation or a family reunion, we can accommodate you!

One mile down the road is our sister property Fish Camp Village. The gated entrance leads you to our tiny village with two more rental cabins also on the banks of Otter Creek. This village has many small roads for riding bicycles, walking, or driving your ATV through. Visit our unique screen houses on this property, enjoy a cookout, morning coffee, evening cocktail and watch the Beavers making dams in the creek.
You can enjoy your morning coffee on your screened in porch, at your private firepit or take a short walk to a beautiful screen house that sits on a hill with a picturesque view of Otter Creek. If you follow the walking roads to the end of the property, we have a large screen porch with a vast view of what nature offers in the Adirondack Park. This screenhouse is set up for you to grill a meal, enjoy a campfire or just sit and take in the moment.

There are canoes and kayaks you can launch and paddle around in Otter Creek.

Grant Island is a 2 acre island which has 2 main houses and three tiny homes.
Management lives in the primary house and the second house is rented to groups of up to 8 guests.

The Hot Tub is perfect for those cool evenings to warm your bones with your partner. Jump in and enjoy the bubbles.

The Beach Area has many chairs and two docks so that you can almost always have your own area. We have a diving board that is available for you.

Included in your rental are 3 electric boats for you to explore Brantingham Lake and go fishing or transport yourself back and forth from the mainland parking area.

We have some of the darkest skys in New England. It's an amazing place to StarGaze. For 2025 we will have a Telescope for exploring the skies.

We are dog friendly and love pets. For this cottage we allow one dog with a 20 lb weight limit. There is a $50 pet fee so please make sure to add a pet to your reservation if you plan to bring one.

Please do not arrive with a large dog over 20lbs without consulting us first.

We will consider dogs larger than 20 lbs on a case-by-case basis.

Please make sure to consult us before making your reservation to check on this. There will be an additional charge, if the dog is accepted. This can be paid on arrival.

All Dog visitors must be friendly and non-agressive. If you have a dog who has ever shown aggression, we ask that do not bring them or keep them leashed during their stay.

The owners of the island have a small dog that , at times, will come visit and say hello to our guests. We prefer to keep a harmonious atmosphere on the island so any animals with aggressive histories will not be allowed. If you have any questions or concerns about this please contact us.

We tried to think of everything possible to make this location the perfect experience. Our bed is a Queen size bed with top quality mattress, linens and sheets. You can overlook the lake right from bed.

The cottage has a mini fridge, hot water kettle and plenty of space for your food and drinks.

Need to work remotely? We have wifi that you'll have in your accommodations.

We installed a full size kitchen sink just outside the tent with running water to make it easy and convenient to clean. Also is a toilet so you dont have to walk to the Primary bathroom just to go #1.

The full size bathroom and shower is a short walk away from the tent area.

There are entrances on each side of the bathroom. One is for the Toilet and Sink and the other is for the Shower. Both have separate entrances so both can be occupied at the same time. Each door has a vacant/occupied sign to let you know when it's available for everyone's consideration.

Come chill out on at our Fire Pit and bring your smores and play your favorite evening camp fire music on our waterfront system.

We have a diving board and floating raft for swimming to.

We offer an upgrade to a pontoon boat if you're looking to cruise the lake

Guest Access:
You have 1/5 of our island private to yourself. You will have your own private dock and electric boat. The parking area is about 2500 feet away on the mainland. When you arrive we arrange to meet you at the parking area, bring you to the island and get you oriented. From there you are free to come and go with your own private boat.

Getting Around:
When you reserve we send you a comprehensive house manual with whats around our local area and things to do.
We provide you your own private electric boat to travel to and from the island so you have transportation always at your disposal.

Stayed a few nights
The Stabbin Cabin is by far the coolest AirBnB I have ever stayed at. Everything was amazing. The cabin itself was clean and conveniently located by being the closest to the bathroom/shower & hot tub. There were other people on the island, but it was still extremely private and nobody bothered us. We enjoyed meeting some of the people from the island, some people we met caught some rainbow trout in the lake and even gave us some to cook and try! There was plenty of dishes & cleaning supplies for us to make meals at the cabin. I do recommend bringing food & snacks! The deck was amazing, there was the one with a diving board and there was another one that was over on the side. We enjoyed both and done plenty of fishing. We caught the most fish in that lake then I have ever caught. Between the hot tub, the fire pit, the provided boat (which i thought was amazing that they provided that for you and allow you to explore in it!), the diving board, and the lake itself, we were never bored!

The Stabbin' Cabin on Grant Island is the perfect summer getaway for decompressing, de-stressing, and enjoying all nature has to offer without skipping the best of modern conveniences. The amber waters of Brantingham Lake were pristine, clear of algae or debris. The island was full of hammocks to relax in, the hot tub was divine, and there's no better way to end the day than a campfire on the beach. We loved all the water toys and took advantage of JPs rental service as well. JP was a great host; he was always available by message and prepped the space wonderfully. The instructions he gives prior to your stay are thorough and clear, there's little to wonder about after reading up on his island and it's amenities! The local area is a picturesque Adirondack town, with log bars and restaurants, and warm and friendly residents used to summer visitors.
My tips f you choose to stay at Stabbin' Cabin 1: bring a fold up table if you are preparing food, and a cooler :)

It looks good in the photos but in person it is even better. We spent a weekend celebrating my boyfriend's birthday. Jp was super responsive, he helped us with everything we needed. The cabins are equipped with everything necessary to cook and have a pleasant stay. Many activities to do on the island and although the weather was a little rainy we were able to enjoy many amenities. The cherry on the cake was the boat, being able to have it whenever we wanted to leave the island or simply to explore the lake freely. Without a doubt one of the best experiences in Airbnb and I would schedule a next visit without a doubt.

There is NO kitchen access; however, we have made it possible for you to cook and clean outdoors. There is a outdoor utility sink for doing dishes and cleaning.

The Stabbin Cabin has its own private dorm size Mini Fridge with small freezer. If you have a need for more fridge space let us know and we can provide access to larger fridge and freezer.

We supply Cafe Bustelo coffee and a large selection of teas along with tea cups and utensils so that you can enjoy your mornings relaxing in our Adirondack chairs or hammocks.

You will be supplied with fresh sheets, towel and our bed will be made when you check in.

We have a small 6 seater boat with an electric motor that is included for you as well as two other electric boats that are at our disposal. It is for your leisure or to transport yourself on and off the island to the mainland parking area. It's a leisurely 5 minute boat ride from the parking area to the Island.

When you initially arrive we will pick you up from the mainland parking area in our pontoon boat and bring you to the island. We guide you to our cabin and give you a quick overview of everything you need and are available for any questions.

The beach area has a full size olympic style diving board and is a perfect place for swimming and floating in the water. We have plenty of floats and toys to play with.

We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have so feel free to ask.

We have some of the darkest skys in New England. It's an amazing place to StarGaze. For 2025 we will have a Telescope for exploring the skies.

We also rent Pontoon Boats, Jetskis, ATV's, Kayaks, , SUPS and Sailboats and many other toys at additional charge should you wish to ramp up your stay with some additional activities.

We have a small dog that may at times come to visit to say hello. We prefer to keep a harmonious atmosphere on the island so any animals with aggressive tendencies will not be allowed. If there is any questions or concerns at all please message us first.

Dogs must be friendly and non-aggressive. If you have a dog that is a rescue or who has ever shown aggression, we ask that you do not bring them or keep them leashed during their stay.

There is a maximum dog size of 20lbs for this cottage with a one dog maximum. There is a $50 pet fee.

If you have a larger or second pet, please consult us, and we can consider them on a case-by-case basis.

Guest Access:
You will have the private cabin.

30 feet away is the main house on the property, which faces the opposite way so you do have privacy. Please see included images to give you a clear understanding of the property layout.

New for 2025 we have built another Stabbin Cabin, Glamping Tent and Houseboat.

When there are guests renting the other cabins the bathroom facilities will be shared between these cottages.

We have OCCUPIED and VACANT signs outside the door so users can know when the facilities are occupied to provide as much courtesy as possible for everyone.

Getting Around:
You will be provided an electric motorized boat to get you back and forth from the mainland parking area. Please see images of it in our listing.

The Parking area is about a 5 minute boat ride from the Island.

Need to work remotely? There is a 10 mbps wifi that you’ll have in your accommodations, but in the beach and common areas its up to 300 mbps on our 5G signal.

Other than your private houseboat, most of the following amenities are available to you but are not private to you. We have other cottage rentals on the island, and these guests also share them.

We have a full size bathroom and shower on the island, that is 100 feet away. You have a romantic private walkway along the island water front that leads you straight to the facilities.

HotTub is perfect for those cool evenings with you and your partner.

Come chill out at our fire pit, bring your smores, and play your favorite evening campfire music on our waterfront system.

In addition to the electric boat, you have access to a rowboat and canoe, which are also included with your stay.

We rent jet skis, ATVs, SUPs, kayaks, pontoon boats, paddleboats, and many more cool adventure-seeking toys. As a guest, you are granted a 30% discount on all vehicle rentals. So its easy to upgrade your stay with a pontoon boat.

When you reserve, we send you our house manual with the discount voucher, and you can book online from our website super easily. We’ll have everything ready for your reserved time.

Go fishing or just enjoy bird watching for our local loons, bald eagles, ducks, and other amazing animals on the lake.

We are dog-friendly and love pets. For this cottage, we allow one dog with a 20-pound weight limit.

Other pets are on the island, so please note that no aggressive pets are allowed.

The parking area is about 2500 feet away on the mainland. When you arrive, we arrange to meet you at the parking area, bring you to the island, and get you oriented and answer any questions you may have.

From there you are free to come and go with your electric boat. Were always happy to give you a ride on our pontoon boat as well.

There is one parking spot available and included in this rental. If you have two cars there is an additional fee of $25 per night. Please advise us before your arrival if you will need two parking spots.

One small dog is allowed for this rental. There is a $50 pet fee for a small dog. Small dogs are considered 20 lbs or less.

Interaction with Guests:
Please be aware we have limited parking available on the mainland. We have space for 1 vehicle.

If you have 2nd vehicle ( Trailers would be included in this figure ) we can accommodate you but we request that you advise us of the additional vehicles so we can properly prepare.

There is an additional parking fee of $25 per night for a second vehicle.

Please advise us if you will be arriving with more than 1 vehicle so we can plan accordingly for you.

The owners have a small dog and other guests may have pets as well, so its required that if you bring any pets that they are non-aggressive in every way.With any large property there are inherent risks.

Stayed a few nights
The island and the cabin were beyond expectations. Getting out to the island was seamless. Once there it was beautiful, serene, yet plenty to do. Swimming, fire pit, hammocks, movie in bed the one evening it rained. We had a great time fishing from the smaller boats and the docks. And caught fish from both(large mouth, small mouth, and several BIG rainbow trout). I'd highly suggest upgrading to a pontoon boat for a day as it was so much fun and quite reasonable rates. JP somehow achieved being there "without" being there. If we needed anything at all, he was all over it. But we never felt like the place wasn't ours for the time we stayed. He's friendly and easy going. JP genuinely loves what he does and it shows in the quality of his stays. We are looking forward to returning. The only problem is in deciding whether to do the same cabin again or to try another, as they're all beautiful and have their own perks! Don't second guess it. Just book it before it's gone.

We had a great time at the cabin. JP made us feel welcomed immediately. Very responsive to any questions we had. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and grill. A comfy bed with an amazing view. Loved the projector screen to watch movies, and beautifully lit up at night to enjoy the fire pit and hot tub. Would definitely come back, and next time plan on renting a jet ski or ATV to explore.

Had an amazing stay at Stabbin Cabin #2!! Seamless transport to and from the island by JP with our luggage, and very clear guide about the accommodation. Anything we needed, JP was very helpful and responsive. So much thought put into this island. Will definitely be returning next summer!

Grant Island is a 2 acre island which has 2 main houses and three tiny homes.
Management lives in the primary house and the second house is rented to groups of up to 8 guests.

This Tiny home located on a slice of Grant Island comes equipped with a Queen size bed and Epic picturesque view over Brantingham Lake from the large 5'x 8' window.

Doubling as a curtain over the window the electric projector screen can be lowered from bed by remote control to turn your view into a surround sound, cinematic viewing experience.

Our system has a Roku as well as a Xbox 360 with a real and Guitar Hero setup so you can play Guitar Hero

Pull down the dining table and benches to open up the Murphy-style table and chairs and explore your cooking options.

We have an air fryer, microwave, hotplate, hot water kettle, toaster, coffee maker and water filtration system, on the sink, to make sure you have clean drinking water at all times.

We supply you with plates, dishes, bowls, pots, pans, utensils and more. If we don't have it, just ask us, and if we have it, we will get it to you.

A cafe dining setup on the Balcony provides you with your own private outdoor dining experience that is perfect for the morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

On the side of the bed is our charging platform that has just about every phone charger in use including wireless charging.

For privacy, we have curtains and shades for the house's many windows that usually will douse you with sunlight all day long.

If you like to sleep in and worry about light coming in and waking you up. Don't fret. We have designer face masks to block the light and let you get your much-needed rest.

Just 50 feet from the Stabbin Cabin entrance is the bathroom. The bathroom is shared with the guests of our other small cottages. (if there are any)

There are entrances on each side of the bathroom. One is for the Toilet and Sink and the other is for the Shower. Both have separate entrances so both can be occupied at the same time. Each door has a vacant/occupied sign to let you know when it's available for everyone's consideration.

The Hot Tub is perfect for those cool evenings to warm your bones. Jump in and enjoy the bubbles.

The Beach Area has many chairs and two docks so that you can almost always have your own area. We have a diving board that is available for you.

Included in your rental are 3 electric boats for you to explore Brantingham Lake and go fishing or transport yourself back and forth from the mainland parking area.

Your rental includes a Canoe to use as well.

We have a boat rental business on-site and offer our guests a 30% discount on Pontoon Boats, ATV's, Jetskis, Kayaks, SUPS, Paddleboats and more. After reserving, we will send you our comprehensive house manual with all details on how to upgrade your experience and redeem your 30% discount.

Brantingham Lake is well known for its families of Loons which make themselves known in the evening with their unique calls that echo around the still lake.

We allow one dog. 20 Lb maximum. It's $50 extra. If you wish to bring your pup make sure to add this to your reservation.

Grant Island is a 1.4 Acre Island Located on Brantingham Lake, NY in the Adirondacks.
Brantingham Lake is essentially a private lake with limited public access.

Included with your rental is a pontoon boat that accommodates up to 8 of your guests. You also get 3 additional Electric boats. One fits 6 guests and the others 3. Use them for recreation around the lake or to travel back and forth to the parking area that is only 2-3 minute boat ride away.

The Island:

Take the 2-person canoes and paddle around Brantingham Lakes' beautiful scenery.

The space
PLEASE NOTE:
The camp has a canal out back to canoe into Brantingham Lake. Easy peasy walking distance (about 250 yards) is Pleasant Lake with a shared/private access beach for swimming, fishing and relaxing .

OUR CABIN:
The cabin sleeps 6, with with possibly extra sleeping on the sectional couch in living room. Great for the family to enjoy! The deck has a patio table that seats 6 and grill available for use. New memory foam mattresses, indoor plumbing, updated bathroom, shower & full kitchen. It's basic, cozy and rustic and perfect for enjoying the wilderness!

- No dishwasher or sink disposal. Make it easy on yourself and use paper plates, then burn them to start your campfire each night.
- No maid. The cabin is not a hotel. We like to keep the rates reasonable. To keep it that way, we ask that you leave the cabin just the way you found it. Remove all trash, empty refrigerator, sweep the floors and tidy up.
- Please take trash $10 per bag trash removal fee.


PARKING:
Parking is right in front of the camp and to the left. There is room for 2 cars. There is the ability to bring your vehicle and a 2 SLED TRAILER. Trailers over 12 feet are prohibited. You can store your trailer @ the Brantingham General Store and pay for daily access, please call them to set that up! Bring your hitch lock.

Guest access
There is room for 3 vehicles at our camp. A large truck and 2 mid-size would be suitable. A truck witha trailer with an atv or snowmobile would fit as well as a 2 sled trailer in the winter. We have a partnership with a store a mile down the road where larger trailers could reside and you can ride your sled to the camp if staying for the weekend.

The space
The open and spacious floorplan stretches from the front to the back, extending onto both porches. Whether your are cooking in the kitchen or lounging on the couch, you will still feel like you're a part of the action. The master suite includes an adjustable-base queen size bed and a spacious on suite with double sinks and shower heads. The second bedroom, on the main floor, features a second queen size bed. The second bathroom has a roomy walk in shower and complimentary toiletries including extra toothbrushes, toothpaste and razors.

To provide additional space, we have recently remodeled the basement which now includes a bunk room with beds for four, an additional bathroom, and an entertainment space with a tv, couches and a pool table.

When you’re not on the lake or trails, outdoor activities are provided in the way of corn hole, basketball, disc golf, football and beer pong putting.

There is no better way to end the day than relaxing by a nightly fire. We have the fire pit, you bring the wood.

Fish camp village is a secluded private property with a gated entrance. The long driveway leads you down to Otter Creek where we have 3 cabins on the property. The property has several long windy roads where you can take peaceful walks, go biking or ride an ATV on. At the end of the property, you will find a large screen house on the point with the most peaceful view of nature. The screen house is equipped with a gas grill, table chairs and a cooler where you can plan to do your own private cook out. There is a firepit for the evening nights and a perfect location for star gazing. There is a modern outhouse that looks like it is from a story book. As you travel one of the other roads you come to a screenhouse on a hill. This has the best view of Otter Creek! You will often see beavers working on their dam and enjoying their home on the creek. It’s the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee.
On Otter creek you will have an access area where you can launch one of our canoes and enjoy paddling in the peaceful waterway.
One-mile up Partridgeville road we have our sister property which is a ten-acre Ranch. We have two horses on the property that love to greet visitors at the fence. The Ranch is a 10-acre property with 4 cabins on the property, a swimming hole with a dock and a gazebo where you can sit and enjoy the waterfalls. There are several hiking trails where you can explore the beauty of nature. These trails will lead you to secluded lakes in the most peaceful setting.

This one-bedroom loft cabin is located in our gated property, Fish Camp Village. That sits along the banks of Otter Creek. This property offers a very private remote setting with only one other rental cabin; it is 1 mile from our main property the Trailside Ranch.

The village has many small roads for you to venture on peaceful walks. You can enjoy your morning coffee on your screened in porch, at your private firepit or take a short walk to a beautiful screen house that sits on a hill with a picturesque view of Otter Creek. If you follow the walking roads to the end of the property, we have a large screen porch with a vast view of what nature is in the Adirondack Park. This screenhouse is set up for you to grill a meal, enjoy a campfire or just sit and take in the moment.

There are canoes and kayaks you can launch and paddle around in Otter Creek. If you travel one mile up the road you can enjoy a swimming hole with a dock and pavilion by the waterfalls. This is a great way to cool off on a hot summer day.

Are you are looking for adventure? We offer S x S rentals to our guests; you can rent a two passenger UTV or a 5 passenger UTV. We provide helmets, maps and a detailed overview of the trails where you can travel to many restaurants, scenic areas, waterfalls and see the many trails that Lewis County has to offer for recreational outdoor sports.

Guest access
Fish camp village is a secluded private property with a gated entrance. The long driveway leads you down to Otter Creek where we have 3 cabins on the property. The property has several long windy roads where you can take peaceful walks, go biking or ride an ATV on. At the end of the property, you will find a large screen house on the point with the most peaceful view of nature. The screen house is equipped with a gas grill, table chairs and a cooler where you can plan to do your own private cook out. There is a firepit for the evening nights and a perfect location for star gazing. There is a modern outhouse that looks like it is from a story book. As you travel one of the other roads you come to a screenhouse on a hill. This has the best view of Otter Creek! You will often see beavers working on their dam and enjoying their home on the creek. It’s the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee.
On Otter creek you will have an access area where you can launch one of our canoes and enjoy paddling in the peaceful waterway.
One-mile up Partridgeville road we have our sister property which is a ten-acre Ranch. We have two horses on the property that love to greet visitors at the fence. The Ranch is a 10-acre property with 4 cabins on the property, a swimming hole with a dock and a gazebo where you can sit and enjoy the waterfalls. There are several hiking trails where you can explore the beauty of nature. These trails will lead you to secluded lakes in the most peaceful setting.

We are dog-friendly and love pets. For this cottage, we allow one dog with a 20-pound weight limit.

Other pets are on the island, so please note that no aggressive pets are allowed.

The parking area is about 2500 feet away on the mainland. When you arrive, we arrange to meet you at the parking area, bring you to the island, and get you oriented and answer any questions you may have.

From there you are free to come and go with your electric boat. Were always happy to give you a ride on our pontoon boat as well.

There is one parking spot available and included in this rental. If you have two cars there is an additional fee of $25 per night. Please advise us before your arrival if you will need two parking spots.

One small dog is allowed for this rental. There is a $50 pet fee for a small dog. Small dogs are considered 20 lbs or less.

Stayed a few nights
The island and the cabin were beyond expectations. Getting out to the island was seamless. Once there it was beautiful, serene, yet plenty to do. Swimming, fire pit, hammocks, movie in bed the one evening it rained. We had a great time fishing from the smaller boats and the docks. And caught fish from both(large mouth, small mouth, and several BIG rainbow trout). I'd highly suggest upgrading to a pontoon boat for a day as it was so much fun and quite reasonable rates. JP somehow achieved being there "without" being there. If we needed anything at all, he was all over it. But we never felt like the place wasn't ours for the time we stayed. He's friendly and easy going. JP genuinely loves what he does and it shows in the quality of his stays. We are looking forward to returning. The only problem is in deciding whether to do the same cabin again or to try another, as they're all beautiful and have their own perks! Don't second guess it. Just book it before it's gone.

We had a great time at the cabin. JP made us feel welcomed immediately. Very responsive to any questions we had. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and grill. A comfy bed with an amazing view. Loved the projector screen to watch movies, and beautifully lit up at night to enjoy the fire pit and hot tub. Would definitely come back, and next time plan on renting a jet ski or ATV to explore.

Had an amazing stay at Stabbin Cabin #2!! Seamless transport to and from the island by JP with our luggage, and very clear guide about the accommodation. Anything we needed, JP was very helpful and responsive. So much thought put into this island. Will definitely be returning next summer!




Grant Island is a 2 acre island which has 2 main houses and three tiny homes.
Management lives in the primary house and the second house is rented to groups of up to 8 guests.

This Tiny home located on a slice of Grant Island comes equipped with a Queen size bed and Epic picturesque view over Brantingham Lake from the large 5'x 8' window.

Doubling as a curtain over the window the electric projector screen can be lowered from bed by remote control to turn your view into a surround sound, cinematic viewing experience.

Our system has a Roku as well as a Xbox 360 with a real and Guitar Hero setup so you can play Guitar Hero

Pull down the dining table and benches to open up the Murphy-style table and chairs and explore your cooking options.

We have an air fryer, microwave, hotplate, hot water kettle, toaster, coffee maker and water filtration system, on the sink, to make sure you have clean drinking water at all times.

We supply you with plates, dishes, bowls, pots, pans, utensils and more. If we don't have it, just ask us, and if we have it, we will get it to you.

A cafe dining setup on the Balcony provides you with your own private outdoor dining experience that is perfect for the morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

On the side of the bed is our charging platform that has just about every phone charger in use including wireless charging.

For privacy, we have curtains and shades for the house's many windowsŕ that usually will douse you with sunlight all day long.

If you like to sleep in and worry about light coming in and waking you up. Don't fret. We have designer face masks to block the light and let you get your much-needed rest.

Just 50 feet from the Stabbin Cabin entrance is the bathroom. The bathroom is shared with the guests of our other small cottages. (if there are any)

There are entrances on each side of the bathroom. One is for the Toilet and Sink and the other is for the Shower. Both have separate entrances so both can be occupied at the same time. Each door has a vacant/occupied sign to let you know when it's available for everyone's consideration.

The Hot Tub is perfect for those cool evenings to warm your bones. Jump in and enjoy the bubbles.
We have some of the darkest skys in New England. It's an amazing place to StarGaze. For 2025 we will have a Telescope for exploring the skies.

The Beach Area has many chairs and two docks so that you can almost always have your own area. We have a diving board that is available for you.

Included in your rental are 3 electric boats for you to explore Brantingham Lake and go fishing or transport yourself back and forth from the mainland parking area.

Your rental includes a Canoe to use as well.

We have a boat rental business on-site and offer our guests a 20% discount on Pontoon Boats, ATV's, Jetskis, Kayaks, SUPS, Paddleboats and more. After reserving, we will send you our comprehensive house manual with all details on how to upgrade your experience and redeem your 20% discount.


Brantingham Lake is well known for its families of Loons which make themselves known in the evening with their unique calls that echo around the still lake.

We allow one dog. 20 Lb maximum. It's $50 extra. If you wish to bring your pup make sure to add this to your reservation.

We will consider dogs larger than 20 lbs on a case-by-case basis. Please make sure to consult us before making your reservation to check on this. There will be an additional charge, if the dog is accepted. This can be paid on arrival.

All Dog visitors must be friendly and non-agressive. If you have a dog who has ever shown aggression, we ask that do not bring them or keep them leashed during their stay.

The owners of the island have a small dog that , at times, will come visit and say hello to our guests. We prefer to keep a harmonious atmosphere on the island so any animals with aggressive histories will not be allowed. If you have any questions or concerns about this please reach out to us.

All guests are required to sign a personal and pet liability waiver before arriving to Grant Island. Hosts will not be held responsible for the decisions, risks and well-being of guests.

Please be aware we have limited parking available on the mainland. We have space for 1 vehicle.

If you have 2nd vehicle ( Trailers would be included in this figure ) we can accommodate you but we request that you advise us of the additional vehicles so we can properly prepare.

There is an additional parking fee of $25 per night for a second vehicle.

Please advise us if you will be arriving with more than 1 vehicle so we can plan accordingly for you.
