- "Came in for event at MIS. This is a great location for that. Able to enjoy time on the lake with the kayaks, even this late in the year. Plenty of space for the whole family. The extra fridge in the converted garage is great for bigger groups. The kitchen was well stock with spices, etc. There were a ton of glasses, and adequate plates. Nothing is more annoying than having a rental say it sleeps 20, but there are only place settings for 6 in the kitchen--that is NOT an issue here. The host responded in a reasonable time to any messages. The firepit was great--put out alot of warmth with burning a ton of wood, or needing constant tending. (wood was also provided!) The hot tub was great. The arcade machine was nostagic and fun. We were able to stream on the wall mounted TV's Downsides... The fire place wasn't working. The water is well--and it is softened; so you never feel clean in the shower, and it is NOT drinkable. They didn't provide any bottled water, so that means a trip to the store asap on arrival, which is a little annoying. So that means needing to buy ice as well. There was a built in ice machine, but it was full of mold. Of note, the store is close by. The neighborhood is quiet (though we were not there in summer). The access is a one way looped road which is annoying. I have a hard time believing you could really fit 5 cars. The house had "air fresheners" in EVERY outlet, so it smelled like chemicals and took time to air out "

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.

Spacious, open first floor gives your group plenty of relaxing space. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are two main-floor bedrooms, one with a full size bed and one with bunk beds, and a bath with a claw-foot tub. The winding staircase takes you to the master bedroom, master bath that has a jacuzzi tub, and in-house laundry.

Outside, the open patio gives you a great view of the canal which leads to Wampler's Lake. Relax by the fire pit, chat with friends while enjoying the patio umbrella, table and chairs, or go for a stroll through the welcoming neighborhood.

Recent upgrades include a new front patio & steps, and a new seawall and dock. Fresh lawn to go along with the upgrades means there's great space for yard games and for everyone to play.

You will love this 2,300+ square feet, two story, open layout home! It is situated facing south on an unshared 1/2 acre of land we call Turtle Point. You will have wonderful views of sunrise and sunsets! Lakefront on three sides, its many deep windows provide spectacular views in every direction, every season. Located directly on a 66 acre, natural, quiet, great fishing lake, Turtle Point is delightful, and we have our own private beach area.

While best suited for 6-8 people, Turtle Point Lodge sleeps up to 12, with three private bedrooms and two queen sleeper sofas in the two separate living areas. There are two bathrooms, one on each level. Sparkling new kitchen is well furnished. Dining table can seat ten, and in addition, there are two barstools at the counter, or, more informally, use the tray tables.

You can spend your time here all to yourselves. (A common comment in our guest book is, "WE NEVER LEFT!") Or get out and enjoy the local activities. In the heart of the Irish Hills recreation area, our friendly towns are no strangers to tourists. Brooklyn and Tecumseh in particular have quaint, specialty shops, farmers markets, antiques, wineries, (One is just a half mile down the road!) parades, festivals and summer fun. Michigan International Speedway is only 3-4 miles away! This UNIQUE home and property are wonderful EVERY time of the year!!

Just entering our fall season, it may be the most underestimated time of the year. The area is just beginning its fall display, with hints of much more to come. Walks, soaking in the sun, dips in the hot tub, these delightful days are perfect for yard games or kayaks. Moonlit nights give opportunity for hot dogs, s'mores and campfire gazing, You might want to think about celebrating a holiday or special occasion where you can gather a good-sized group at this large, lovely, very clean home! Turtle Point loves to host special events! We have had family groups from all over, a book club, 10 men from an extended family, prayer group, anniversary celebration, 6 sisters, golf outing, even a wedding!

Winter is beautiful, watching the weather from the warmth and coziness of your home. You can sit back and watch it snow from the comfort of home, or you can sled and slide on the ice, or watch (or be!) an ice fisherman. Can you imagine sitting in the hot tub on the deck, directly under the stars? You can even be served in an igloo at a local winery.

Nite Lites at MIS is a spectacular show, fun for the family - a 6-mile Christmas drive-thru! This is available before Thanksgiving into the New Year. Make popcorn, watch a good movie (large selection of DVDs) or sports program, and/or play some family games - Bingo, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader, Junga, Family Charades, etc.

New life awakens in the spring. Little traffic on our road makes it a good place to get out and take exploratory walks. You might see migrating swans and returning birds. Turtles begin to crawl out to bask in the sun and you can enjoy the hot tub. We now have a floating diving and fishing platform! It's hard to find this large a lot on a lake! No close neighbors to bother, or to bother YOU! We are all ready to jump into summer activities!

Summers are perfect here at the lake. We have a large, sandy beach area with shallows for the kids. Large yard play areas for family sports - ladder golf provided. We have many beach chairs, both Adirondack and cloth chairs, picnic table, benches and a glider, even children's chairs. Paddleboat, 6 kayaks, rowboat, sand/beach toys and life preservers are on-site. We can rent you a pontoon and/or Captain Neil is sometimes available to host pontoon rides or for campfire crooning! You may also bring your own small boat or jet-ski.

There is no off-season to this beautiful property! Hot tub, campfire, leisure spaces anytime! Huge TVs, comfy seating and gas fireplace make the living area so homey, while the deep windows let you look out at the lake in comfort. There were big TV’s for viewing everywhere with DVD’s available to choose from and beautiful fresh flowers and a bottle of wine welcoming us. The beach area was perfect with a little sandy area too. If you wanted a little “me” time, there is a really nice screened in porch area or a 2 bench private area under the trees to maybe sit and read a book. There also was a hot tub right on the back deck for enjoyment next to the grill available for cooking and eating on the deck or the picnic table on the beach. Large family friendly house with amenities everyone can enjoy. This house has over 9,000 square foot of living space, 9 bedrooms, and can sleep 27 people. Keep everyone entertained with the heated, indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, and poker table. Come across some nice days and the kids could have fun on the outdoor play set.
The main floor consists of two beautiful sitting rooms, a fully stocked kitchen, and a very large dinning room table. There are two sleeping areas on the main floor, a king bed adjacent to the living room overlooking the woods, and a queen bed off of the second living room. Currently no shower on the main floor.
Upstairs you will come across 5 bedrooms. The master bedroom upstairs has a king bed and twin over twin bunk beds. Connected to this bedroom is a large bathroom with a large walk in shower and tub. On the other side of that bathroom is another bedroom with a queen bed and a twin over full bunkbed. Continue down the hall and you will find a full bathroom with a washer and dryer and another bedroom with a king bed. The last two bedrooms upstairs are next to each other and share a Jack and Jill bathroom. These bedrooms have a queen bed and then a queen over queen bunkbed.
Find your way downstairs to come across another large sitting area and a six person poker table. The basement also has a full bathroom and two bedrooms. The one bedroom has a king and a queen bed, and the last bedroom has a king bed.
Only a few minutes from the Michigan Speedway, Bundy Hill Off Road Recreation LLC, and the town of Brooklyn, MI. Also not far from Devil’s Lake, a public lake with a public beach.

- "We enjoyed the property and the house! It was very comfortable and well stocked. The deep end of the pool was a little cloudy so you couldn’t see the bottom or any toys that went to the bottom. The kids and family really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. There is a wasp nest off the railing of the deck near the sliding door that unfortunately stung the baby. Hoping they can take care of the nest. I messaged the owner but never heard back. Otherwise great place to stay and we would definitely visit again!"

Wamplers Lake is an all-sport but peaceful lake in Irish Hills, popular for year-round fishing and host of the annual Midwest Open Ice Fishing Tournament.

Our lakefront property includes backyard, front yard with patio and electric awning, plus an additional front lawn and seawall right up to the water's edge.

Lakeshore Drive is a quiet private road with more pedestrians than vehicles. Morning walkers, joggers, and cyclists enjoy the beautiful views and peace and quiet of Lakeshore Drive.

Our lake home has a bedroom and full bathroom on the main level, plus two additional bedrooms and a half bath upstairs (see below for bed sizes). The main level has a large open-concept great room that includes a fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining room, and laundry. Just off the living room is a heated four-seasons room with beautiful views of the lake. Window air conditioning units are located throughout the home.

Home has a long private driveway with both front and back doors for your convenience. Maximum 4 vehicles.

On the main floor there is a queen bed and dining area with kitchenette. WIFI, Smart TV, Netflix, Hulu, & Disney +. Super Nintendo with games. The loft area has two twin floor beds. Sheets comforters blankets and pillows are provided. Please note if you plan on using the beds in the loft, the beds will not be made! Feel free to arrange the sleeping area to your liking!
All beds have heated mattress pads, sheets, pillows, and comforters. Extra blankets are provided.

The driveway is gravel and has a steep incline.
WI-FI & TV w Netflix, prime and Hulu. Right on the river, and less than 1/4 to access to a private lake. Grill, firepit, seating, outdoor sink with running water, toaster oven, mini fridge, keurig, and basic utensils.

Bathroom situation:
For convenience, there is porta potty close by. It is pumped weekly by the company and always cleaned & sanitized between guests. Shower/bathing: My home is on the property, and if requested, you can access a full bathroom that will be dedicated to you during your stay. Shower and bath, with all the essentials located on the upstairs floor. Please send me a message with a heads up if you plan on using, so I can make sure it is accessible anytime during your stay.

The Lake - 110-acre private lake, spring fed, two sandy beaches, 300 feet of waterfront. Dock, great fishing, sand toys, great for swimming, gradual drop off.

This location is very spacious and private. If you are looking to get away and relax, this is your place. Perfect for young kids as well!

Welcome to our lake house- the perfect retreat for couples, friends, or families who want to stay in a small town, lake community in a country setting. Our house is across the street from Wamplers Lake with shared, private lake access for launching kayaks (2 available in summer) and great for ice fishing in the winter. Jerry's pub is down the street for lake side food, drinks, & live music year round. The house is minutes away from Hayes State Park beach and boat launch, downtown Brooklyn, Michigan International Speedway, & Hidden Lake Gardens with its canopy skywalk.

Enjoy the entire place to yourself. The lake house is one floor- two bedrooms, one bathroom, living room, and a full kitchen. One bedroom has a queen size bed. The other bedroom has a queen size bed with a twin size loft. Available in each bedroom is a desk for a remote workspace. The bathroom has a shower (no bathtub). There is a smart TV (no cable, but you can use your own login for various apps like Netflix), dvd player, and wifi. The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee maker, toaster, microwave, stove, oven, dishware, utensils, and pans. Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels.

There is a patio in the front with seating and a pergola for shading. The backyard has a gas grill, picnic table, fire pit (wood not provided) and a fenced in yard for pets (fence 2.5' high). We are pet friendly for well behaved pets (pet fee required)

Bring your own boat to launch at nearby Hayes State Park. There is no overnight docking at the property, but the driveway is rather long if you plan to bring your own boat on a trailer. There are many lakes nearby, which are great for fishing in the summer and ice fishing in the winter.

The Oar House features a double lot, providing our guests with ample room for barbecues, bonfires, and soaking up the fresh lake air. There's enough parking to bring your boat. Our guests have access to the public boat launch (no dock access) and park, including play equipment for the kids.

The cozy, 1,200 sq. ft. home features four bedrooms, with sleeping space for 8 guests, one bathroom, a dedicated game and puzzle room, dining room, reading nook with a daybed/trundle for additional sleeping room, and a spacious living room with a large, comfortable sectional couch. The kitchen boasts ample storage for your vacation provisions, including a full-sized refrigerator, gas range, dishwasher, microwave, and a coffee bar stocked with enough supplies to kick your vacation off right. A washer and dryer are available, and there's also a clothes line in the yard for all of your beach towels and swimming suites to dry out.
