- "We can't give this place or the hosts enough stars! I wish there were an option for a 10 star review and even that seems to minimal. The listing and photos are exact. Zach and Jackie send you videos of the whole check in process on top of the email with instructions. By far the easiest check in and check out due to their thoroughness. We are a family that likes to cook. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more. There were even glass storage containers for leftovers. The arcade games are a huge plus!! The beds were very comfortable and the rooms very spacious. There were so many little touches that some may feel aren't much, but are when you realize you need them. For example: when there are no hangers in the closets. This unit has huge closets and lots of hangers so we did not have to go buy any or live out of our luggage. They provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for those families that may forget to pack those items. We love that there was a washer and dryer for clothes and of course they provided laundry pods and dryer sheets. Again, the little things that truly add up and are a step above! The location is walking distance to all of the bars, restaurants, shops, and the downtown "mall". We could write a book of how wonderful our stay was. Even though we would like to keep this little gem a secret so it is always available for when we need it, we urge everyone to experience it for themselves. My only complaint was that the bathroom barn door would not stay shut on its own." - "We enjoyed our short stay in this cute little cottage. Despite being on a corner, the property is very private. The little sandy beach space is just enough to sit and soak up the sun. There are a couple kayaks available for use as well as a stand up paddle board. The property is just a quick drive from plenty of places to eat and drink in Kalamazoo. Our last morning there we sat outside to have our coffee and watch a family of swans on the beach. - "It was great! It suited our needs perfectly." - "We booked this unit for a long weekend when we were attending an event in the area. The unit was super clean and comfortable, with newer kitchen appliances. We appreciated the washer/dryer present within the unit, and there were plenty of bathroom linens. The millpond was charming, and often had geese and ducks on it. The unit was very quiet, and we heard no one next door or above us. I agree with the previous review regarding the overwhelming smell of marijuana in the stairwell. Since cannabis use is legal in MI however, I'm not sure what the unit owners can be expected to do about it unless there is a no smoking policy within the building. The smell does not creep into the unit unless you leave the door open, which we avoided. The absence of kitchen linens is interesting because it simply forced us to use more paper towels, which I would think the owners would try to avoid. But these were small things, and did not detract from our overall good experience. We would stay there again without hesitation!"

- "Just a walk away from a convenience store, and minutes from downtown by car. This is a beautiful and clean home in the best location!" - "Nice and cozy getaway. " - "Unit needs a lot of work. Bathroom has old damaged cabinets, kitchen is partially newer but mainly original. Bathroom shower is incredibly tight and has a 2 foot high step in/out with no grab bar. Toilet area is even narrower than the shower. Had continual issues with all my devices staying connected to the WiFi. I finally gave up and used my data plan instead. TV is bolted down to the mantel I'm guessing so it can't fall off, but I wanted to connect my computer to it with a cable and couldn't. The fridge needs to be defrosted and it froze all My food ruining it. There is one remotely comfortable chair and the rest looks like office furniture. If more than 1 person is looking for a place to stay, this isn't it, it's too small especially if you have kids. Owner needs to add some floor lamps for an option of something other than bright LEDs overhead."

Plenty of parking (with the option of covered parking) a few steps from the front entrance and a waterside view of Monarch Millpond are a couple notable perks of this location. A large kitchen, comfortable living room, and an in-unit washer and dryer make this the perfect space for long term stays.

This unit is on the second floor, where you will have your own 2 bedroom apartment with a full bath, living room, dining space, and full kitchen. This pleasant and tranquil space comfortably sleeps three with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed. This space is perfect for a single person, couple, a small group of friends, or a small family. The second bedroom can be used as a study, or dedicated office space.

Many windows provide great natural light and a feeling of airiness. With steam heat and a minisplit AC, as well as plush comforters, throws, and ceiling fans, you will be able to tailor the environment for your comfort.

Enjoy the convenience of home, in the city. This apartment is located on the first residential block south of downtown. It's an easy walk to all major features around town, including shops and restaurants on the Kalamazoo Mall as well as theatres, hotels, and event centers. This is a great location for events at the Chenery, the Civic Theatre, Bronson Park, and a little further away, Miller Auditorium, and Bells Brewery to name a few.

Owners live nearby and are available by text or by phone but will leave you to your privacy. We are in and out of the building on a daily basis doing turnovers and updating the property, but will stay out of your way and will be as unobtursive as possible.
