- "We can't give this place or the hosts enough stars! I wish there were an option for a 10 star review and even that seems to minimal. The listing and photos are exact. Zach and Jackie send you videos of the whole check in process on top of the email with instructions. By far the easiest check in and check out due to their thoroughness. We are a family that likes to cook. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more. There were even glass storage containers for leftovers. The arcade games are a huge plus!! The beds were very comfortable and the rooms very spacious. There were so many little touches that some may feel aren't much, but are when you realize you need them. For example: when there are no hangers in the closets. This unit has huge closets and lots of hangers so we did not have to go buy any or live out of our luggage. They provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for those families that may forget to pack those items. We love that there was a washer and dryer for clothes and of course they provided laundry pods and dryer sheets. Again, the little things that truly add up and are a step above! The location is walking distance to all of the bars, restaurants, shops, and the downtown "mall". We could write a book of how wonderful our stay was. Even though we would like to keep this little gem a secret so it is always available for when we need it, we urge everyone to experience it for themselves. - "It was great! It suited our needs perfectly." - "We booked this unit for a long weekend when we were attending an event in the area. The unit was super clean and comfortable, with newer kitchen appliances. We appreciated the washer/dryer present within the unit, and there were plenty of bathroom linens. The millpond was charming, and often had geese and ducks on it. The unit was very quiet, and we heard no one next door or above us. I agree with the previous review regarding the overwhelming smell of marijuana in the stairwell. Since cannabis use is legal in MI however, I'm not sure what the unit owners can be expected to do about it unless there is a no smoking policy within the building. The smell does not creep into the unit unless you leave the door open, which we avoided. The absence of kitchen linens is interesting because it simply forced us to use more paper towels, which I would think the owners would try to avoid. But these were small things, and did not detract from our overall good experience. We would stay there again without hesitation!"
