Rocky Mountain NP, Wildlife, and Dutch hospitality

Our modern cabin is located 1/2 mile from the Rocky Mountain NP. Stunning views of Longs Peak, and lots of wildlife. We have Elk and Deer right in our yard.
We also have snowshoes for rent. If there is enough snow in the Winter you can snowshoe from your room right into the National Park. Or you can bike to town ( 1 1/2 miles) year round. There are lots of hiking trails within very short distance from our house.

You are renting a guestroom and bathroom. You are not renting the whole house. The guestroom has a private entry, with an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has a shower and a bath tub. It also has a build-in Bluetooth speaker fan.
There are 2 USB outlets next to both sides of the queen bed.
Bedroom has a ceiling fan.
Both the bathroom and bedroom have radiant floor heating for your comfort. Control is on the wall. The bedroom also has a 3 speed ceiling fan.

This unit is part of a side-by-side duplex with a garage in the middle. Guests do not share living space walls with the folks who live on the other side (my little family and me).

The entrance of the unit has a spacious, unheated mud room for storing your skis, climbing gear, fishing rods, single bike, etc. Estes Park summers tend to be mild, but please note like many spaces in Estes Park, this unit does not have air conditioning. Ceiling fans are located in the living room and bedroom, and two other fans are provided.

The open living room includes a 58-inch TV to use with your subscription services and a dedicated workspace. High-speed internet through Trailblazer included.

The large bedroom holds a queen and twin bed. Happy to switch the dedicated work space with the twin bed prior to your arrival or during your stay if you’d like separate rooms. Both the living room and bedroom have blackout curtains to facilitate uninterrupted rest. Pack and play and booster seat high chair available in this kid-friendly unit. Sorry, no pets.

Conveniences of town are minutes away, including the Lake Estes loop, a 5k paved path with town-provided snow removal for winter jogs and bike rides, and a perfect spot for fishing or birding.

The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, microwave, drip coffee maker, instant pot, utensils, etc. If you need something during your stay, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Immaculate with all the necessities. Plenty of room for your whole family to be together. Indoor comfort with many windows to bring the outdoors in. Front deck with table and chairs, outdoor patio with grill, table and chairs. Outdoor seating to view wildlife and hammock to rest, relax and read a book. Huge yard for kids to play. There is also a big toy closet with toys & games for all ages. Nicely furnished kitchen makes cooking easy.

The space
The indoor space is immaculate and you will notice how clean and fresh the whole home is kept. Plenty of comfy seating, big dining room table, game table in the livingroom and the windows provide stunning views of the huge yard with mature trees and wildlife. Comfy beds and linens. Feels like home!

Guest access
You have full access to the entire home. The laundry is in the basement. You may use space in the garage for bicycles, kayaks, extra gear you have. The yard is huge (1.3 acres) and gives plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. The neighborhood is quiet and away from busy roads/traffice.

Other things to note
A maximum of 3 cars in the driveway. Parking only on gravelled areas. No parties, reunions, weddings, etc. No more than 7 guests on property. Quiet time is 10pm to 7am. No smoking and fire bans MAY be in effect. Enjoy yourselves and feel comfy in our wonderful mountain home!

Nestled in a tranquil neighborhood close to town with views from the private deck of Lake Estes, Long's Peak and Lumpy Ridge. The Badger's Den apartment is an 840 square foot apartment and is all newly constructed and furnished, first being lightly used in the summer of 2019. With large picture windows, a vaulted ceiling and French doors that open to a private deck, you'll enjoy the 180 degree views of the mountains that surround Estes Park. Amenities include a kitchenette and a washer/dryer.

The apartment is conveniently located just a five minute drive from downtown Estes Park and only 3 blocks from Antonio's Pizza and The Ark.
The apartment sits above a guest space and has a balcony with beautiful views of the Rockies, Lumpy Ridge, and Lake Estes. There are three beds with a queen in the master bedroom/sitting room and two twin beds in the second bedroom. The apartment has A/C in the master room and a fan and small portable cooling fan in the second bedroom. There is a washer/dryer and refrigerator/freezer in the kitchenette. The kitchenette is complete with utensils, dishes, silverware, pots/pans, a microwave, toaster, two-burner hot plate stove, toaster oven, electric skillet, air fryer, coffee maker with a permanent filter, and there is a bbq located at the entrance to the apartment.

[ 1 Month minimum rental ] Cozy 3 bedroom 2 bath with private hot tub in a quiet neighborhood. Rocky Mountain National Park entrance is about 5 miles. Estes park downtown is 3.5 miles. Pet friendly with a small fenced yard.

The space
House has 2 floors: main floor and lower floor.

On Main floor: A great room with living and dining space. Full kitchen. Bedroom #1 contain a queen bed with view to Scott pond. 1 full bath. (note that master bedroom is excluded and locked for owner storage.)

On Lower floor: a large room with recreational and dining space. Bedroom #2 has a full bed with twin trundle bed. Bedroom #3 has 2 twin bed and a kitchenette. There is a small hobby room without closet and can be furnished with 1 twin bed. 1 full bath with in-unit washer/dryer.

Please note that there is no air conditioning at this time. The house currently has ceiling fans and portable fans available.

Backyard has a small fenced area for pets and hot tub.

Parking space: garage can only accommodate one small sedan. Backyard has room for 2 cars. At the bottom of driveway, there is one more parking space near the mailbox.

Note that driveway is very steep. While there is snow, if your vehicle does not equip an all wheel/4 wheel drive, please park next to the mailbox at the bottom of the driveway.
