- "The owners think about details. The unit was nicely furnished, the kitchen was well-equipped for prep and cooking, and the whole interior was spacious and well lit. Outside, there was actually kindling on the wood pile, and multiple kinds of watercraft - plenty of kayaks, a 4-seater paddle boat, and some paddle boards, too. Kayaking the lake was a real joy. Towels and sheets are included as you’d think for a nice place. The only mild worry was a very soft mattress topper in the downstairs bedroom. The response time to an email question was quick-less than 10 minutes, and the owner(s) are nearby but non-intrusive. I’d rent again in a heartbeat. It’s a great place for 4-5 people, well equipped and well done."

Other amenities include cable TV, wifi, heat/AC and washer/dryer. Located on chain of all sports lakes and outfitted with a floating dock and fire pit. Access to property is a private road. Weekends are busy on the lakes and weekdays and mornings allow for nature watching and quiet water activities. Two kayaks, a canoe, paddleboat, and rowboat are included and a pontoon boat is available for an additional fee. Wildlife includes sandhill cranes, swans, herons, kingfishers and an occasional loon. Fishing consists of bass, bluegill, pike and carp. Local attractions include the Irish Hills, Michigan International Speedway, 4th of July fireworks and local festivals. PET RULES
We allow up to 2 dogs, no cats, birds, or other animals I have not encounter in the rental business.
Dogs must house trained. House trained does NOT mean urinating on a pad. It would advisable for owners to allow the loved ones several outside trips throughout the day. Damage charges will be assessed if urine damage occurs.
If your dog is a spaded female and your visit occurs during her period the pet must have a pet diaper.
The dogs MUST be supervised while outside at all times. If your dog is not well trained and won’t come when called then the furry friend must be leashed or contained during the outdoor time. When your pet relives it’s bowel it is the expectation that the owner will immediately provide pick of the bowel movement. If the owner doesn’t have poop bags the landlord will provide them.
While inside the cottage the animal also needs to be supervised or crated. Animals should not be left alone for long periods of time, (i.e over 2hours). Please realized this is a new and strange location to your loved one, and likely will be scared without you in this unfamiliar space. So they act differently than at home, until they are accustom to being in a familiar space without their loved one. IT DOES NOT HAPPEN IMMEDIATLY.

Enjoyed the hot tub and the stars were amazing but you had to stay real still or a motion activated spotlight turns on and ruins the star gazing. Only complaint I had is we rented the pontoon and it only has a 6 gallon tank and that was only 1/4 full so we could only go out about a half hour before we had to stop and run into town for gas (there's no gas on the lake and it's about a 10 minute drive to the nearest gas station). After using the pontoon for a few hours the next day we were near empty again and had to go back out for gas. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable trip."

On the main floor there is a queen bed and dining area with kitchenette. WIFI, Smart TV, Netflix, Hulu, & Disney +. Super Nintendo with games. The loft area has two twin floor beds. Bathroom situation:
For convenience, there is porta potty close by. It is pumped weekly by the company and always cleaned & sanitized between guests. Shower/bathing: My home is on the property, and if requested, you can access a full bathroom that will be dedicated to you during your stay. Shower and bath, with all the essentials located on the upstairs floor. Please send me a message with a heads up if you plan on using, so I can make sure it is accessible anytime during your stay.

- "Our stay was highly unusual, we experienced our first tornado there. Our hosts were amazing, they took us in their home and cared for us more than we would expect! Treehouse itself was cozy, comfortable and fun. Sam and Jeff are awesome people, their kids are the coolest and Max the dog is friendly and sweet. This was the cleanest and most sparkly porter potty I ever seen! Just very chill and relaxing place (minus tornado, hahaha). Def recommend!!!"

Waterfront Michigan Center Home with Boat Dock! offers accommodations in Jackson, 27 miles from Albion Amtrak Station. Free Wifi is available throughout the property and Michigan International Speedway is 23 miles away. The air-conditioned vacation home consists of 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a coffee machine, and 3 bathrooms with a bath and a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are featured in the vacation home. The property has an outdoor dining area.

15yo ranch w/finished basement, large rec room w/wet bar & over head projector. Fully furnished Basement suite. Plenty of parking in the circular driveway, w/access to the kitchen, living room, dining room, grill, laundry.

Bedroom suite contains Queen bed, Dresser, TV, Mirror, lamp & walk in closet. There is another queen bed, a couch and a love seat in the rec room for an extra couple guests and if you have an air mattress, there is plenty of floor space for all your friends!
The space
The house itself is out in the country, a few miles south of the Village. You can almost see the neighbors houses, depending on how many leaves are in the trees!

The entire basement is about 1700sf with a wet bar, projector for DVD’s and a fairly well stocked kitchenette ( no stove in the basement, but you can use the kitchen upstairs if you want).
Guest access
Even though I reside here on the ground floor, you will have access to whatever you need. There's a wet bar in the basement with a fridge and microwave, but you are welcome to use the kitchen upstairs. I have all the standard kitchen equipment, almost anything you could ask for. Relax and watch a DVD on the 12 foot Projector downstairs or use the 50" TV in your bedroom for Dish Network. Free Laundry is upstairs. Gas grill on the back patio on standby for whoever wants to use them, and can be warmed up within a few minutes.

Internet access available, speeds depend on the weather, though!

I have 3 dogs, which I will keep separate from you. I have a fenced in back yard to keep them separate from your pets and there are baby gates in the house. With that in mind, your pets are always welcome, provided you clean up after any unexpected accidents!
Other things to note.

Your pets are welcome, as long as you can clean up after them, in case they get so excited that they have a little accident!

I have a few pets myself, but they are all pretty friendly. Storm is a 8yo 20# blind Jack Russell/pit mix, who barks at everyone including me, but warms up to you pretty quickly. I recently adopted twin boy Corgi/Rottie mixes 18mo old Thor and Loki, saved them from a shelter.

4yo Mr. Cutie is my tiger stripe cat, and he doesn’t really care about me, so he probably won't even socialize with you, if you even see him! Don't be offended!

Two goldfish-Mustache and Nemo- don’t worry about them…they stay in their tank most of the time. And then Shelly the snail is a new addition to the tank.

<3 miles from a grocery store, the post office, 2 pizza joints, a bar, a pharmacy, 2 gas stations, a hardware store, a salon, and a barber shop.

Big Wolf Lake and Little Wolf Lake are just a few miles South of the house and Grass Lake is just a few miles North of the house.

- "This was my second time staying at Matthew's and I must say he really outdid himself! He was very accommodating when dealing with an issue beyond his control (power outage). He sourced a generator in a matter of hours and even made a trip to town to purchase a special cord. Now onto the property... it's great! The rental area consists of a spacious open basement with a small private bedroom (with a closet bigger than some NYC apartments), huge bar/kitchenette, cozy living room and workspace area, an extra bed perfect for movie time snuggles and modern bathroom with lots of towels and even fuzzy robes. There is a projection screen and movies abound for a rainy day. I didn't get to use it but I'm sure Matthew picked out some good flicks for his guests. The pièce de résistance is the hot tub, a high tech super soaking experience! With enough dexterity, you could orchestrate your own Pink Floyd light show in the bubbles. I can't not mention the doggos! Have you ever seen a rottweiler/corgi mix pup? There's two of them! The dogs barked a bit, but it didn't affect our stay one bit. 10/10! We'd love to visit again!"
