- "First time Kelseyville so I didn't know what to expect. Certainly felt more rural than I anticipated but luckily the VRBO was in a central hub near a large convenience store and several restaurants. The place felt clean and bright. The kitchen could use a paint job to make it feel pristine. The bathroom is oddly at the end of the kitchen so kind of awkward to cook food so close to the bathroom, but what can you do? Really sweet host manager, great communication. The bedding was really clean and fresh and so were the towels. The pillows were clean underneath the pillowcases and that's a non-negotiable for me so things felt very comfortable. They allow pets, but there was no sign of dog hair anywhere. The windows open to a somewhat busier street but it quiets down at night. Across the street is a cute cafe for bagels and coffee and you're a short drive away from a few nice walks in Lakeport and along Clearlake. Enjoy!"

Relaxing and quiet lake front cottage on Clear Lake, located adjacent to the Soda Bay hot springs. The private deck, dock offers an excellent panoramic view which is perfect for bird watching and taking in the beautiful evening sunsets. It’s also a fisherman’s paradise. Don’t forget your pole. The area is also fantastic for kayaking and paddle boarding in your backyard. We have two kayaks available that we offer to our guests. Wine taste in the Red Hills Ava which is known for their Cabernet Sauvignon or hike at the Clearlake State Park.

We have filled this 450 sq/ft funky private "efficiency" with vintage Hollywood portraits collected over the years. It's completely remodeled with a large farm sink, subway tile bath and cozy feather top bed with great views (from bed) of Mt Konocti. It's in the center of downtown Kelseyville making it an easy walk to shops, restaurants, the Brewery and wine tasting rooms. It's the perfect perch for visiting Lake County. It is an efficiency -- there is NOT a conventional oven/stove top.

Weather:

This cabin has individually controlled air conditioning for each bedroom and the loft. The loft unit also cools the living room downstairs. Summers can get hot, up to 100°F, so we've provided a tower fan in the living room for extra comfort. In the winter, the air conditioners can be used as heaters, and the fireplaces in the living room and master suite will also help keep you warm. Floor heaters will be provided during the winter months.

Bugs and Gnats:

This cabin is located near a lake, so it may attract bugs occasionally. We have provided a bug zapper for your use, but to stay away from the bugs close all the doors behind you. We have installed door opener alarms on all four sliding doors to remind you to do so. These alarms are not monitoring devices, they are simply to alert you when a door has been opened.

Final Note:

We take our sanitation and cleaning procedures very seriously. We don't want you to get sick, so we'll sanitize the heck out of this place. We'll launder all the linens and disinfect all surfaces with every new stay.

Navigation:

Use Apple maps if possible for the correct navigation. G-Maps will take you to the wrong exit. The roads to the cabin are marked with red signs saying "7001 Glebe". The gravel driveway is a bit steep and bumpy. We recommend AWD or 4WD, but it is not critical. You will need a car to get around and there is a market with everything you need 1 mile away.
Other things to note
Security Cameras:

There are four security cameras installed on the property's exterior. One camera is located at the main gate entrance, another is at the entrance door of the cabin, a third is in the side entrance, and the fourth is on one of the storage sheds. The neighborhood is very safe, but these help us to keep an eye on the property.

Septic:

Please keep in mind that we run on septic. So please do not flush ANYTHING that's not toilet paper. We cannot stress that enough.

Wild Life:
