- "First time Kelseyville so I didn't know what to expect. Certainly felt more rural than I anticipated but luckily the VRBO was in a central hub near a large convenience store and several restaurants. The place felt clean and bright. The kitchen could use a paint job to make it feel pristine. The bathroom is oddly at the end of the kitchen so kind of awkward to cook food so close to the bathroom, but what can you do? Really sweet host manager, great communication. The bedding was really clean and fresh and so were the towels. The pillows were clean underneath the pillowcases and that's a non-negotiable for me so things felt very comfortable. They allow pets, but there was no sign of dog hair anywhere. The windows open to a somewhat busier street but it quiets down at night. Across the street is a cute cafe for bagels and coffee and you're a short drive away from a few nice walks in Lakeport and along Clearlake. Enjoy!"

Relaxing and quiet lake front cottage on Clear Lake, located adjacent to the Soda Bay hot springs. The private deck, dock offers an excellent panoramic view which is perfect for bird watching and taking in the beautiful evening sunsets. It’s also a fisherman’s paradise. Don’t forget your pole. The area is also fantastic for kayaking and paddle boarding in your backyard. We have two kayaks available that we offer to our guests. We have filled this 450 sq/ft funky private "efficiency" with vintage Hollywood portraits collected over the years. It's completely remodeled with a large farm sink, subway tile bath and cozy feather top bed with great views (from bed) of Mt Konocti. It's in the center of downtown Kelseyville making it an easy walk to shops, restaurants, the Brewery and wine tasting rooms. It's the perfect perch for visiting Lake County. It is an efficiency -- there is NOT a conventional oven/stove top.

Weather:

This cabin has individually controlled air conditioning for each bedroom and the loft. The loft unit also cools the living room downstairs. Summers can get hot, up to 100°F, so we've provided a tower fan in the living room for extra comfort. In the winter, the air conditioners can be used as heaters, and the fireplaces in the living room and master suite will also help keep you warm. Floor heaters will be provided during the winter months.

Bugs and Gnats:

This cabin is located near a lake, so it may attract bugs occasionally. We have provided a bug zapper for your use, but to stay away from the bugs close all the doors behind you. We have installed door opener alarms on all four sliding doors to remind you to do so. These alarms are not monitoring devices, they are simply to alert you when a door has been opened.

Final Note:

We take our sanitation and cleaning procedures very seriously. We don't want you to get sick, so we'll sanitize the heck out of this place. We'll launder all the linens and disinfect all surfaces with every new stay.

Navigation:

Use Apple maps if possible for the correct navigation. G-Maps will take you to the wrong exit. The roads to the cabin are marked with red signs saying "7001 Glebe". The gravel driveway is a bit steep and bumpy. We recommend AWD or 4WD, but it is not critical. You will need a car to get around and there is a market with everything you need 1 mile away.
Other things to note
Security Cameras:

There are four security cameras installed on the property's exterior. One camera is located at the main gate entrance, another is at the entrance door of the cabin, a third is in the side entrance, and the fourth is on one of the storage sheds. The neighborhood is very safe, but these help us to keep an eye on the property.

Septic:

Please keep in mind that we run on septic. So please do not flush ANYTHING that's not toilet paper. We cannot stress that enough.

Wild Life:

Emily's Studio is on the outskirts of Kelseyville. About five minutes to the water, many resorts around the lake and many wineries within 5 miles. We have a high scale restaurant with beautiful views of Clearlake and Mt Konocti. Soon to reopen Konocti Harbor Inn is 10 minutes away. We are lucky to be able to enjoy hearing the concerts from our deck. You may encounter Emily (grey kitty)at the door wanting to visit she still thinks it is her room. She is settling in nicely with us though.
The space
Emily's Studio is in an antique setting. Bed and dresser are handed down from many generations as well as pictures and framed art. The kitchen counters are handcrafted of reclaimed mahogany planks from railroad box cars. There is also a 3000 gal Koi pond outside the kitchen window that gives a pleasant water splashing sound when the window is open. Very peaceful here. This is a new studio so we are still working on landscaping, pictures soon.

- "I booked this property about a week and a half in advance as I was looking for a quiet private cabin to rest in with my spouse. The description online said that it was a “wellness retreat” but made it sound like all of the interactive activities were optional. After strange communication with the property owner (he did not respond to my message via vrbo app, so I had to look up the property’s website and literally verify the legitimacy of my reservation, and was extremely short and delayed on responses with no additional check in information until 2 hours AFTER my scheduled check in time, he emailed me saying my keys were in my cabin) I decided to dive a little deeper into researching this property before going to it. The reviews I found were terrifying and horrible, they were on Expedia (Vrbo’s parent) but somehow hadn’t been transferred to this platform. The reviews had accounts of guest feeing literally unsafe and uncomfortable during their stay because of it intrusive staff. I decided I didn’t feel safe going so I tried to cancel my reservation online with no hep whatsoever from Vrbo and couldn’t. So I had to eat the charge, to protect my own safety. Please look up this place “Mandala Springs” on other platforms and read the reviews before booking on here. It has been completely misrepresented. They also added on the “no alcohol” clause onto the description after I booked. Shady, super shady."

The LAKE VIEW home is a very nice & quiet Neighborhood in the “Kelseyville Clearlake Riviera” Very serene, peaceful with beautiful humming birds that eat directly from our homemade nectar. Our guests will have access to the Riviera Hills Country Club & Golf Course with an adult, family pool, snack shop, hot showers & tennis courts. We have a nicely fully furnished kitchen with several brand new appliances. We have a brand new Keurig Coffee Machine and will have the storage tray filled with K-cups and tea bags to enjoy! We like to make our guest feel at home, as we take pride in our rentals.

There are some stairs with side rails to the unit (approximately 12-14 steps). The only shared area is the laundry room which is a separate room that sits off the lower deck. This is an upper unit with private entrance and amazing lake views. We have a fairly new Samsung Top loader washer & dryer. The laundry room has nice storage cabinets & drying racks.

Association Clearlake Riviera Golf Course & Resort Summer Membership (paid by owner) for special access to adult & family pools, hot showers, rest rooms & tennis courts. Our guest enjoy these great Country Club perks!

The space
Great for a couple or small family. Nice large wrap around Trex deck for outdoor dining & to enjoy the lake view.

We have a nicely fully furnished kitchen with several brand new appliances. We have a brand new Keurig Coffee Machine and will have the storage tray filled with K-cups and tea bags to enjoy! We also have a Roku Streaming Stick with access Netflix & Disney for your favorite movies and shows! We like to make our guest feel at home, as we take pride in our rentals.

There are some stairs with side rails to the unit (approximately 12-14 steps). We have a fairly new Samsung Top loader washer & dryer. The laundry room has nice storage cabinets & drying racks.

From the gorgeous kitchen to the charming bath, a lot of thought has gone into the guest's experience! With amazing views of Cobb Mountain and Mount Saint Helena, this studio offers a peaceful place from which to explore the area. The deck is very large. The comfortable seating are is a great place to relax or watch tv. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes, cookware and small appliances needed for cooking. Extended stays are welcome!

The space
This studio relates to the outdoors, with the nearby mountainside just out the windows, on the deck side. It is a great place to enjoy summer days, with its large deck and BBQ grill. It is also a cozy place to stay warm in the winter. You will find it stocked with all the cooking and dining essentials, plus board games, books, linens, and towels. Of course, many of our guests work remotely. For them, the greatest comfort is the high-speed internet and wifi. We take pride in thoughtfully providing a space that will meet the needs of our guests!

The guest has their own entrance to their own separate, private studio with its own private deck. No one else has access to these spaces.

Other things to note
The main house on the property is divided into two vacation rentals (one on the main level and one on the lower level). The host or other guests may be staying in one or both of these. However, the studio is detached and private.

Quaint country home catering to working professionals...everybody heads out in the morning and returns at dinner time. Generally gets quiet at 10:00pm For the guest who works nights (7pm-7am), it is quiet all day. Swing shift won't work here as it brings you in the house just as others are quieting down.

Host prepares meals every day. If one chooses to be on the dinner plan then dinner (as much from gardens as possible) is served between 6:30-7:30 at a table set for 1-2 other guests.

A quiet little bit of heaven on Kelsey Creek for the traveling professional who wants to feel like they are on vacation even though they aren't.

Lovely decks, lawn areas, veg and flower gardens provide an unexpected oasis one mile from downtown Kelseyville shops, restaurants and wineries, less than 20 min. to hospitals, care centers and recreation areas.

Host lives on and cares for the property and makes sure that kitchen, bathroom and all shared areas are fresh and welcoming at all times

The space
Guest in the master suite enjoys a private bath and has the entire upstairs to themselves. A desk area and sitting area are included along with a small balcony overlooking entire yard. Bathroom has a large tub for relaxing or enjoying a European shower and lots of closet space in spite of fact that host does utilize one half of the closet. That is to suggest that she will occasionally need to come upstairs. She will NEVER do so without notice.

As well, she will need to access to your balcony twice a week to water plants unless you want the job....;-)

Guest access
Guest are welcome to use chef's kitchen to prepare a meal, or the Weber BBQ if you like to grill. Some coordination is necessary in order accommodate all who wish to make use of facility. As there are gardens, animals and recycling to be considered, there are some specifics in the kitchen that will require attention and consideration on your part.

Host spends most afternoon/evenings in the kitchen preparing and cleaning up meals for guests on dinner plan and occasionally entire days preparing meals for catering activities, processing farm produce or baking bread for household.

During your stay
I am usually busy taking care of yard and gardens, preparing a meal, baking bread, tidying up in the kitchen or keeping the fire stoked in the wood burning stove.

I thoroughly enjoy interacting with my guests but do my best to give them plenty of peace and quiet after a long day of work.

We have a couple of dogs on the property and Chickens and goats keep us feeling "farmy"...

As I cater mostly to long term traveling professionals (one to three months), short term bookings (weekends) are only accepted one to two weeks in advance.

The Main House consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master has a queen bed and private bath with a large closet. The first guest room has a queen bed and closet, and shares the guest bath with the second room/office, which has a full-size futon. The living room has a comfy clean sofa sleeper with a full-size mattress. The kitchen has a gas range, grill, and oven, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Full size washer and dryer are also included.

Please note that there is an additional 1 bedroom 1 bath unit available: Cobb Mountain Chalet King Suite, which sleeps 4. Guests of the King Suite have a separate access to their unit. The King Suite has been soundproofed to insure that noise at a typical volume is contained. However, it has its limits. Loud music and partying can still be heard. If you are looking to entertain at all hours of the night, this is not the rental for you. Special discounted rates will be offered for parties interested in booking both units. Quiet hours will be enforced for guests that have not booked both units.

There is ample parking for both units. Guests of the Main House have a designated spot on the right-hand side of the driveway when facing the garage. Guests of the King Suite have a designated spot on the left-hand side near the trash bins. Additional cars are asked to park on the street. There should be available spaces adjacent to the driveway.

Cobb Mountain sits atop Lake County, CA which borders the Napa Valley, the most premier wine growing region in California. It is 20 minutes away from Middletown, home of Harbin Hot Springs Retreat Center and the same distance to Clear Lake, the largest freshwater lake entirely in CA. The Chalet is a few minutes away from Adams Springs Golf Course which offers a stunning new restaurant and bar. Six minutes away is Mountain High coffee shop and bookstore, (a locally owned and operated coffee nirvana) Hardester’s Market (a local gourmet grocery store) and Brick Oven (a delicious pasta and pizza bistro.) Emily's Studio is on the outskirts of Kelseyville. About five minutes to the water, many resorts around the lake and many wineries within 5 miles. We have a high scale restaurant with beautiful views of Clearlake and Mt Konocti. Soon to reopen Konocti Harbor Inn is 10 minutes away. We are lucky to be able to enjoy hearing the concerts from our deck. You may encounter Emily (grey kitty)at the door wanting to visit she still thinks it is her room. She is settling in nicely with us though.

The space
Emily's Studio is in an antique setting. Bed and dresser are handed down from many generations as well as pictures and framed art. The kitchen counters are handcrafted of reclaimed mahogany planks from railroad box cars. There is also a 3000 gal Koi pond outside the kitchen window that gives a pleasant water splashing sound when the window is open. Very peaceful here. Still working on landscaping.

Riviera Retreat has been remodeled and upgraded. It is very clean and comfortable. We live in the same neighborhood so I can verify it is very safe and friendly. We do have fast WiFi and access to apps such as Netflix all you do is sign into to your account. There is plenty of parking including boat parking. We are a small rural community. Riviera Retreat does have a lot of stairs to get up to it so anyone with walking disabilities will have a hard time.

The space
It is considered a two story but once you are up to the apartment there is a lake view from the deck. Very enjoyable especially in the summer. Lots of hiking trails as well as wineries near by. If you enjoy the sounds of birds and watching the wild life stroll by you will like it here. It is a two bed two bath. Most of our guest are working travelers with no need for the second rooms so we close it off unless it is needed.

Konocti View is a new house built July 2023. The home is rural with empty lots on each side. It is perfect to see the different wildlife species strolling by. Quiet neighborhood . It is called Konocti View because it has a great view of Mt . Konocti. Attractions include Konocti Harbor Inn, lots of wineries, restaurants, and water. Clearlake, Highland springs, Blue Lakes and many others are near as well as many hiking trails. For long term stays “week up” we ask only two guests.

We tried to make the space very homey (see pictures) It has a large deck out the front door and driveway parking. The house has great English and black walnut trees as this area used to be a walnut orchard.

The Study is a cozy, quiet suite in downtown Kelseyville. Located within walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, tasting rooms, a brewery and a short drive to parks, mountain trails and Clear Lake. Outfitted with a super comfy Resto-Hdware Maxwell leather loveseat, Sealy Ashton Queen mattress with 300 count sheets topped with a Belgian Flax Linen quilt.

We charge a $50 Pet Fee for each pet (max. 2 pets with combined weight of less than 50lbs). Payment envelope provided in the suite.

This stunning 900sqft loft sits a top Laujor Estate Winery's boutique tasting room with breathtaking 360° views of surrounding vineyards and our dormant volcano which is part of the Pacific Ocean's Ring of Fire, Mt. Konocti. Wake up to fresh coffee, bask in the sunlight on your private veranda, and then head down to the tasting room where your complimentary tastings will be waiting for you! End the relaxing and rejuvenating day snuggling in your luxurious comforter with your complimentary bottle of award winning wine.

Relax in our courtyard at a table or in a lounge seat, breathe in that clean Lake County air and take it all in- the view is something to experience. Our tasting room is open from 11-5 everyday and we love chatting it up with our guests! Any questions or good jokes, we're all ears!

Interior has high ceilings and open airy living room. Formal dining area is spacious and has additional stools at kitchen island. Cabinets are fully stocked with all cooking utensils & dishes. Dishwasher and large pantry for storage. Bedrooms are inviting and decently sized. A wonderful place to wake-up every morning! Garage is available for use and additional parking available in driveway. Community pool is open from June 1st to October 1st. Minimum 4 night bookings. Community pool is open from May 31st to October 1st. Keycard access found in Notebook on Kitchen Counter. Parental supervision is required as there is no lifeguard on duty.

Also a private boat ramp is located across the street from the Riviera West Community entrance. The key card for the pool also works at the private gate to enter the small boat ramp and limited parking area. There are two built-in BBQ’s and a tiny park area for pic-nicking with family. Caution is advised around the lake area as there is no lifeguard on duty.

The home layout is highly functional with a flowing circular ambiance. A comfortable space with areas for both privacy and socialization. 180 degree views of gorgeous Clear Lake 24 hours a day.
