Enjoy our lake home overlooking the main lake with incredible sunrises from a spacious deck. A full renovation was completed on the home this year. We renovated the home with a focus on having a "lake cottage" feel and focusing on being outside!

The home features 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. Bedroom one has a king bed, bedroom two has 2 queen beds, and bedroom three features a custom built bunk bed with an extra long twin on top and a full size mattress on bottom. The home also features a full length sunroom with full views of the lake. The new expanded two-tier deck features a large oak tree towering through the middle of the deck and providing a canopy of shade during the day, and lighting hung from the tree at night. We have also included an antique viewer purchased from a resort in Banff, Canada. Looking through this viewer you can see full detail across the lake into Land Between the Lakes or any boats on the water.

If you want to get closer to the water, there is a second deck down at the shoreline. This deck features chairs for lounging above the waters edge. If you choose to get even closer to the water, you can take advantage of the newly installed dock extending 70 feet out from the shore with a 10x40 platform. Feel free to fish, lounge, swim or pull your boat up to the dock for the day.

The home sits privately down the hill located behind the garage. There is parking for 3 cars. If you want to bring your boat, you are within a mile of 2 boat ramps. If you only have one vehicle, you will be able to park your boat parallel to the road in front of the garage. A second option would be to contact Moore's marina and rent a slip for your stay and simply keep your boat there. The house is less than a mile from Moore's.

You will find all the comforts of home including a full kitchen, refrigerator, stacked washer and dryer, cable and Wi-Fi. Of course, the idea with the lake house is to NOT be inside, but if you must, you will find a very comfortable home.

The house features a magnificent large porch with a dining table and seating for eight. It is furnished with a cozy couch, two chairs, and a coffee table. To enhance your comfort, two fans are mounted on the porch, ensuring a pleasant breeze. Additionally, there are two 11'x14' side patios—one equipped with a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking and the other adorned with two comfortable lounge chairs. We provide charcoal, and lighter fluid for your convenience. We offer complimentary firewood for the fire pit, conveniently stored in a wood holder near the house, perfect for enjoying a cozy fire or making delicious s'mores and hotdogs. Cornhole boards are also provided for your entertainment.

The Chateau Relaxo is conveniently situated just 1/10th of a mile from Moors Resort. You can easily walk or take a golf cart ride to various attractions such as a restaurant, bar, marina, boat docks, and beach area. If desired, you can rent our 4-seater golf cart for an additional fee (details available upon request). Ample parking space is available for both vehicles and boats.
As you enter the open-concept layout, you'll find a fully furnished kitchen complete with a kitchen table seating six, plus two stools at the island. The living room features a 70" smart TV for your enjoyment. A half bath. Two large bedrooms with attached bathrooms are located downstairs, with the master bedroom boasting a custom shower. Upstairs, there are two spacious bedrooms—one with 4 full-size beds and the other with two king-size beds. Each room has its own bathroom. The balcony upstairs is an ideal spot for reading or sitting at the bar playing board games. All four bedrooms are equipped with smart TVs. Additionally, each bedroom has its own Mitsubishi wall-mounted air conditioning unit, allowing guests to control the temperature to their liking.
The Chateau Relaxo comfortably accommodates up to 16 people. There is a 100 sq ft closet upstairs for storing items out of the way, furnished with a full-size bed and an additional full-size mattress that can be relocated as needed.
For your convenience, we have deadbolt locks that make check-in easy. A unique code will be generated for each booking, ensuring security.
Clean sheets and pillowcases are provided for each bed. The kitchen is fully stocked with essential appliances, including a crockpot, toaster, blender, coffee maker, Keurig machine with K-Cups, dishwasher, microwave, and stove. We also provide a washer and dryer, along with laundry detergent, an iron, and an ironing board. Additionally, you will find a supply of toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hairdryers. Dishwashing liquid and trash bags are also provided.
Please note that our property does not have a dock or private access to the lake. However, Moors Marina, a full-service facility, is conveniently located just 1/10th of a mile away, allowing easy access to all your boating and water-related activities. Newly remodeled four bedroom two bathrooms just steps away from Moors Resort and Marina. This home has a gentle sloped yard to the shared boat dock with private slip that allows direct lake access in the summer. There is a large deck looking out towards Buckhorn Bay with two eating areas there is also another eating area under the deck with access to the basement. The main level houses all four bedrooms and both bathrooms. The kitchen has recently been remodeled and is equipped for all your cooking needs. The basement is the perfect hang out for kids with two pull out couches, DVD player, and Wii gaming Console. The basement also houses a full-size washer and dryer. The Lake Retreat also offers a four and six seater golf cart to rent at an additional charge.

Home has two living rooms, one with Walkout and Lake view, 70" TV and seating for 9. The upstairs living room has a pool table, 70" TV and seating for 8.

Back of home has a covered 14x24 screen porch and a 10x30 uncovered deck with 2 tables and 12 chairs. Deck faces Northeast so shaded in afternoon and early evening. Deck has great view for sunrises.

Bedroom 1 has a Lake view with balcony, a King Bed and attached Bath.
Bedroom 2 has a Lake view with balcony, a King Bed with attached Bath.
Bedroom 3 has a King Bed with bath in hallway just outside the door.
Bedroom 4 has 2 bunk beds, twin over twin and full over full with bath in hallway just outside the door.

Note- this is a multi-level hillside lake home with 14 interior stairs and over 100 outside steps. If you have small children, or elderly members with balance or mobility issues, then this may not be the best property for you.

There is enough parking for 8-10 cars or 6 cars and your boat trailer. Home also has a Trolley to take you, and your gear, down to the boat dock. There is an ice maker in laundry room that makes up to 90 pounds of ice a day.

Home has whole home tankless water heater and water softener system. Kitchen has a reverse osmosis water filtration system with separate faucet.

Home is a short golf cart ride to Moors Marina, Boat Ramp & Ralph's Restaurant. Home comes with a 6 Person electric Golf Cart. Also available, for an extra fee, are two 2021 SeaDoo 130 GTI's.

Dock Notes:
1. Our dock is a fixed height ideal for Summer water levels. TVA drops the water level 4-6 feet during Sept-Apr.
2. The dock has a 9k pound cable lift setup for v-hull, pontoons or tritoons up to 28’.
3. The rental Sea Doo’s are on cable lifts.
4. Moors Marina offers covered slips for roughly $20 per day. Call 270-362-1410 for availability and current pricing.
5. One of the lifts may already have a boat on it during rental periods. Let us know if you plan to use the dock/lift for your boat during your stay.

- "Everything was perfect! Clean, spacious, perfect location! Was amazing have a boat dock so close. Golf carts are definitely a huge plus in helping to load and unload boats. Thank you for wonderful stay! We plan to come back next year!" - "We stayed 3 nights. Overall the stay was relaxing. There was plenty of beds. The pillows were too full, and wish there had been a couple of blankets, but we didnt contact for them. Also there wasnt a pitcher available in one of the duplexes we used. Overall owners had clean property and accommodations. Would stay again with them."
