Light and bright for a basement apartment. This home is in a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to Hwy 6 -with access to the Mountains, Golden, Red Rocks Amphitheater or a few miles East to Downtown Denver.

The entire basement apartment space is private to the guests. You even have your own Washer and Dryer, full kitchen, all you can use!There is a patio area for guest use just outside the unit with a picnic bench and a Small Charcoal BBQ Grill...Driveway Parking okay all the way to the right side.

This is a garden-level (basement) apartment. The apartment is around 900 square feet. It has air conditioning to stay cool and comfortable and get a break from the heat in warm months.

Ceilings in most of the apartment are 6 feet 9 ½ inches high. There are two small areas where the ceiling lowers due to air ducts in the ceiling. One small area dips briefly to 6 ft. 1 ½ in then raises again to 6 ft. 9 ½ in. A smaller area dips briefly to 5 ft. 11 ½ in then raises again to 6 ft. 9 ½ in. If you are a taller person, you might have to duck a bit in those two small areas. I personally am 6 ft. 2 in. tall and have no issues.

There is central heating in cold months. We have placed a plush blanket in each dresser, and in the storage compartment under the sofa bed, in case you want to feel extra cozy.

Everything has been renovated. It has a well-stocked kitchen with lots of amenities.

Well-behaved, friendly pets are welcome at our home with an additional cleaning fee of $30.

For any hard-to-remove accidents your four-legged loved one might have in the home, you will be charged an additional professional cleaning fee. The booking guest will be liable for any damage caused by pets.

You will have a private, fenced-off patio area that includes a patio table and chairs. Please pick up and dispose of any mess. There is also a park just across the street, which is a perfect place for dog walking.

I live upstairs with two small dogs and two cats. You will hear us moving around. This might not be the right rental for you if you are especially noise-sensitive, although there are disposable ear plugs and a white-noise machine for your use located in each bedroom nightstand.

You will have the entire bottom floor apartment with your own private entrance. You will also have a private, fenced-off patio area with a patio table and chairs.

There is also a park just across the street, which is a great place for dog walking or playing basketball.

This is not a place for parties. There are plenty of wonderful venues to do that nearby. Afterwards, you can take Uber or Light Rail safely back to the apartment.

The apartment is in a dynamic urban neighborhood. You never have to go far to find what you need, and downtown Denver is just a few minutes away. We love our neighborhood. The neighbors are friendly, and we look out for each other. It is diverse, with people of various socio-economic levels. As a large city, the Denver-Metro area (including our neighborhood) has a large homeless population, and sometimes the liveliness of the city can be heard.

With that said, we feel very safe here and love being near practically everything. Your apartment has many safety features for your peace of mind, including active-deterrence security cameras outside, security bars on the windows (including bars over the window wells that are removable from the inside for emergency escape), and motion-detecting security lights all around the premises. The deadbolt on the door also has a built-in alarm which can be enabled at your request.

We also have room-darkening blinds, white-noise machines, sleep masks, and disposable earplugs to help you tune out the outside world and enjoy your vacation getaway.

All bedding, furniture covers , linens, pet blankets etc. are always washed in between guests, with no exceptions, so you don't have to question if something really is clean.

- "We didn't actually stay at this cute little bungalow. My husband had a medical emergency and he was admitted to the hospital. Jamie was amazing. I didn't even let her know until after the check-in time. She immediately went to work to get another client so she could refund me our money. How nice was that. I was overwhelmed by the whole thing and she took over and the next day she let me know the house was rented and she was refunding me. She then contacted VRBO and they told her that she refunded they would also. I can't give her enough accolades ** They wouldn't let me submit an incomplete review so truth be told ' communication with manager" is the only rating I want to submit."

NEW (1.5 yr old) Mother-in-law SUITE, in the NEW Red Rocks Ranch Community

NEW fully furnished modern ‘Mother-in-law Suite’ (or ‘NextGen Suite) that is like a small home attached to our Superhome (like an apartment attached to our SuperHome) in an incredible location; located in the NEW Red Rocks Ranch Community (off of C-470 & Morrison Rd).

Built in August 2023, our SuperHome has an amazing Suite attached, with its own entrance, and includes all the necessities and wants. The Master Suite bedroom has a large King Bed with memory-foam mattress, 2 nightstands, a Walk-in closet (half with some stored items), and a ‘Retreat’ area with a large dresser and a work desk with one monitor & printer. Also has a bench with cubbies just below the 75-inch Large screen (walk-mounted) Smart TV (with Netflix, Peacock, Paramount, Prime Video, AppleTV, Hulu, and DisneyPlus). Includes sheet sets, comforter/bedspread, and blankets. Also includes a new LARGE room humidifier.

The master bathroom has a separate walk-in shower, and toilet (closed door) with a separate modern sink/counter/cabinet area (separated by the bathroom entrance door). The room also has a back deck (shared across the back of the house with the main house as well - large long deck, easy to be divided). Includes towels, bath sheets, hand towels, and wash clothes.

The suite includes a hall closet with a new LARGE stackable washer/dryer combo (the latest size available for a stackable), and another hallway coat closet.

There is also a small kitchen/kitchenette, dining, and living room. The kitchen has a very nice clean full size refrigerator/freezer, small microwave, small toaster oven, and single Kuerig coffee machine; dishes, cups, mugs, silverware, towels and other small kitchen supplies. The Kitchen/dining area includes a dining table with seating up to 4.

The living room has a new small size sectional sofa, with recliner; a large separate recliner rocking chair; and a small TV stand with another large (65-inch) screen Smart TV (with Netflix, Peacock, Paramount, Prime Video, AppleTV, Hulu, and DisneyPlus).

The location is within walking or easy biking distance (1 block away & just across main road) to BEAR CREEK LAKE PARK, SODA LAKE WATER SKI SCHOOL, BIG SODA LAKE *BEACH*, and just a little further walking or biking distance to the famous RED ROCKS! ***DOES NOT INCLUDE THE 1-CAR GARAGE***

The place is so comfortable and beautiful. It is close to so many things and most especially Red Rocks which was our main purpose for coming to CO. The owners are onsite but we never saw them other than to grab the key upon arrival. We heard very little out of them. They do have a special needs child which we did hear some but nothing outrageous and frankly I saw him as precious and a special gift from God. If we come back to CO we will definitely choose to stay here again. Bravo!! "

This unit is in the lower level of our house, which access is completely separated from our unit upstairs. We are very quiet people and the neighborhood we live in is just as quiet.

Access to the unit is in the rear of our house. Upon entry, you’re met with a 4’x7’ landing with stairs leading down to the unit. The dining area is ahead as you land, to the right is the living room, to the left is our brand new kitchen complete with everything you need and extras (complete set of Calphalon tri ply stainless steel cookware, Keurig K-mini plus coffee maker with reusable pod, Kitchenaid stand mixer, Breville Super Q blender with personal cup, Cuisinart immersion blender, Cuisinart toaster, microwave, table service for 6. Immediately to the right of the stairs is the first bedroom with a queen size bed, large closet and access to the bathroom. Down the hallway from the kitchen is the laundry room, then the second bedroom with a queen size bed and ample closet space. At the end of the hallway is the second door to the bathroom adjoined to the first bedroom. The unit is 1,500 sq. ft and we hope you’ll find it’s home away from home.

A note on pets: my husband and I have severe allergies to pet dander and since our HVAC system is connected, we do not allow pets. Thank you for your understanding.

Ample driveway parking along the side of the house, lots of motion activated security lights leading the way to the basement door at night. Hoang was super responsive to all of my questions. There’s a reusable keurig coffee pod which we found very used since we bring our own ground coffee with us. Eveuthing was very clean and well decorated. Even though we didn’t cook much there seemed to be lots of kitchen supplies available for use. Only concern would be for any person who had trouble maneuvering steps and luggage since it’s a basement apartment. Hoang also had supplied the apartment with toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and Pantene hair products which was incredibly helpful!! We were staying there for a wedding weekend for several events planned in Golden and it was not far. Great place."
