We look forward to sharing our personal retreat cabin with you and your friends and family. There are coon dogs at a neighbors house over the mountain. They can bark for an extended period. You can't hear them inside however if you are on the porch, you will hear them. For most of our guests they aren't noticable but for a few, they can be annoying. Also you can park a boat or trailer up to 24 feet. 40 foot will be to long to get up the road to the cabin.

The Cabin is a fully furnished rustic 3 bedroom home on 13 acres of woods with a fishing pond and 2 fire-pits for those chilly nights.

The property has plenty of wildlife you can see from the porch ,deer, turkey and lots of smaller animals. The house features a gas log fireplace and a fully stocked kitchen for cooking up your favorite dishes also we provide a gas grill outside on the wrap around porch.
The porch has a swing and plenty of seating. The pond has a dock with seating and is fully stocked with catfish bluegill and bass(catch and release only).
Inside we have a king master suite with a shower ,bath

On the main floor we have a bunk room that accommodates 4 people in the built in extra long bunks.
Upstairs we have a queen bed room that overlooks the living room and kitchen there is also a balcony that overlooks the back yard large patio doors for plenty of light and a privacy screen .

There are a lot of properties around this area at a lower cost but you get what you pay for. This one is my home .I built this place for myself to retire. It has all the amenities of a vacation property without dealing with other guests.

The cabin is fully furnished with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath, washer and dryer. Open living and dining area is anchored by cozy fireplace with beautiful live edge black walnut wood mantle. Reclining couch and love seat to enjoy watching 50 inch smart tv or spending time with family. Kitchen features all new hickory cabinets and new appliances. It also contains all the necessities you need to prepare your favorite breakfast, lunch or dinner. One full bathroom with shower/tub combo and plenty of towels, washcloths and hand towels to last your entire visit. Tissue paper also supplied. Downstairs bedroom sleeps 2 with log king size bed. Road to cabin is gravel but is county maintained so that even a small car is operational. Trailers or boats over 20 foot has an additional parking area within 40 yards of cabin. Cozy cabin with full walkout basement only 1.2 miles to Yatesville Lake Marina. The Marina area of Yatesville Lake is usually the primary location for fishing tournaments. conveniently located only 3 miles to intersection of Louisa on US 23. 5 miles from shopping center where several businesses are located including Walmart. Private location with limited close neighbors. This definitely is a fisherman's and hunters' getaway. This cabin has everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Plenty of parking for both vehicles and boats!
I do accommodate and discount for 30 day stays with professionals staying in area for work.
Take in the walking trails only 1 mile from cabin where you just might glimpse a bald eagle and deer grazing. There is a bald eagles nest only 12 miles on US 23 located in Kise Ky.

Walkout basement has 2 twin beds, futon couch, and TV. I am not listing this as a separate bedroom. Basement is completely remodeled. There is a full bath located on this level. This is a walkout basement with its own access to outside/patio. The washer and dryer is located on this level as well. there are 2 TVs in the cabin though not pictured.

If you're coming through Morehead, KY to reach the property, I recommend continuing onto Grayson, KY. The roads are much easier to navigate, and less car-sick inducing. TLDR: Loved the property! Go through Grayson, KY if you're coming from the north."

- "Wonderful getaway! The cabin was just right, the hot tub was hot, the hosts are so helpful and the restaurant has wonderful food. We came during 4th of July weekend and the festivities were great.
