Rise and shine in the picturesque rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, with our roosters' crows (or draw the shades and black-out curtains and sleep in, the chickens aren't really that loud!). Enjoy provided farm-fresh eggs for breakfast and relax on the oversized covered porch with a cup of complimentary Keurig-style coffee or cocoa. Perhaps a baby lamb or goat kid will join your party? When in season, various garden-fresh produce may be available - taste the difference! Also provided is a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, microwave, stove/oven/range, pots and pans and cooking utensils, and all the necessary plates, silverware and glasses/cups - just as if you were at home.

- "We stayed here with our family of four, and loved EVERY MINUTE! The property sits just minutes outside of the main town, perfectly situated! Located on an expansive and quiet plot of land, you have beautiful fields surrounding the home, friendly neighbors, and tons of privacy! The house has 3 large bedrooms, all with very beautifully decorated queen beds that were super comfortable! The bedrooms are large enough to support any extras your family may need to bring along (playpen, etc), and we were even surprised to see they also provided a toddler bed & crib/changing table combo for us to use! Plenty of closet space, large comfortable living room, beautiful dining room, & a full size kitchen! Laundry, 3 full bathrooms, and an adorable fully stocked coffee station provide everything you could need to be comfortable here as a couple or as a large family! I would happily bring the grandparents or extended family along for our next visit!! Everything was very carefully considered, and very well planned out. The owners clearly put a lot of attention into making guests comfortable; tons of outlets, lamps in every room, TV, wi-fi, and even ice in the freezer! I know these seem like small things, but when you travel with small children, these tiny touches make all the difference. Our favorite part was sitting on the large attached front porch at sunset, and just chatting and enjoying the view! DO NOT MISS THIS HIDDEN GEM! - "We traveled to see my brother and his family. I choose this house because it was handicap accessible for my Mom and pet friendly for my dog. It has a beautiful yard. 3 bedrooms and 2 living rooms. One of the living rooms has a daybed for an extra place to sleep mainly for a child. 2 televisions and a few games are provided. Kitchen has nice cookware and a new gas stove. Good location, not far from downtown, restaurants and shopping. A few exists away from my favorite place on Earth which is the Cumberland Falls. Great place for hiking and a picnic. - "Sadly, this property didn't live up to how it was presented online. When we got there, we were surprised to find that the property wasn't a house but rather a converted former college faculty housing unit (this is problematic because we travel with our dogs). The housing unit sits on the former Sue Bennett College campus and some of the buildings are vacant and run down. This made us very uncomfortable and we were concerned about our safety and that of our vehicle overnight. The rooms looked as expected from the online photos except the bedroom TV was missing. We didn't need it so it didn't bother us, but it definitely was gone before we got there. The rooms were clean for the most part. However, there is no dishwasher and no dish cloths nor dish towels. My husband used the dish soap and paper towels we brought with us to wash a couple of coffee mugs he found in one of the cabinets of the very small 'kitchen'. There is one bathroom (it's upstairs). It was clean as far as I could tell, but the sink didn’t drain well and needed some Drano. Unfortunately, the bathmat was filthy and the bath towels and wash cloths were dirty and worn out. We were exhausted and hungry so we just went to a store and bought new rugs, towels and wash cloths and didn't think to reach out to the host. My husband did a bed check that night and all looked okay except for the fact there was no mattress protector between the sheets and the mattress. Not cool. At that point, we made the decision to leave the next day instead of stay for our entire reservation. If we didn't have our dogs with us, we would have left right then and gotten a hotel room. When we left the next morning, I tried contacting the host through text, email, and phone. I got no response and the phone number was for a number no longer in service. We've stayed in 2 other Vrbo properties and they delivered. Sadly, this one was a big disappointment."

- "This was a very disappointing experience. The property was not clean, floors dirty, dishes had to be washed before using. Insufficient chairs for whole group, not enough towels, no blankets, furniture not functional, cigarette butts plentiful around all doors, landscaping beds overgrown and full of leaves, broken glass in yard, kitchen sparsely furnished, no bed linens on one bed, no extra pillows, not enough towel bars for quantity of guests. Would not use the property again."

A whole house rental sitting on a one acre lot. The house has 3 bedrooms and two baths and a dine in kitchen with french doors leading to a patio that is great to have your morning coffee or meals on. An office for work or play and a basketball goal attached to one of the two driveways adds extra fun. The neighborhood is quiet and has no through traffic. Beautiful sunsets, mountains and blissful solitude await just two miles from Manchester.

The space
Our Mountaintop Retreat is located 2 miles from Manchester. It is situated in the Sycamore Ridge subdivision on a one acre lot. The exterior of our home is rustic with wood siding and a warm and inviting interior. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dine in kitchen and a large office/game space makes up the home. The upstairs is a master suite and is more private. One of the two driveways doubles as a small basketball court. There is a spacious office/game space with a large desk area if you have to work or for provided board games, cards and checkers. We also have a pop a shot with miniature basketballs to enjoy. WiFi is provided and a TV in the living room is available for movies and your streaming subscriptions.
In addition to this home our family owns a 3 generation farm approximately 3 miles away. For guests that do longer stays you’d be welcome to walk the property or take photos of our old barns, animals or just sit and enjoy the mountains.

The entire home except for the garage, attic spaces and one owner closet for linen storage is available to guests.

Other things to note
All mattresses and bedding are new. Largest bed is located on the first floor to eliminate the need to climb stairs if needed. Full size washer and dryer also available for guest use. Since we are located in a subdivision being respectful to our neighbors is imperative.

PLEASE NOTE: The Cabin is adjacent to a KY State Highway Garage and there’s no guarantee you won’t hear some heavy equipment noise sometimes.

The Mennonite Bakery is less than a mile down the road and the swinging bridges and river are also nearby.

Hiking, biking, walking and four-wheeling are all within an easy drive.

The Cabin at Fox Hollow Haven provides comfort inside or outside. Sit on the porch or use the outdoor grill. Roast marshmallows or hotdogs over the fire pit and make yourself at home.

Other things to note
There is a loft bed that’s accessible by a ladder and has a comfortable 6” memory foam queen size mattress. The ceiling is very low in the loft with a clearance of two feet. The loft requires crawling in and crawling out. It’s a comfortable but small space.

Take a break from technology and unwind in this relaxing setting. Only 5 minutes to town, this tiny cabin is on 184 privately owned acres with lots of land for hiking. A private driveway leads to this cabin where you can enjoy your morning coffee on the deck and see wildlife, such as deer and turkey. In the winter there is a hill next to the cabin for sledding. Perfect retreat for a couple or as a get away for a small family.

The space
Have the fun of camping without all the work! This tiny home has all the comforts without all the distractions. There are two sleeping lofts, one with a Queen size memory foam mattress and the other has two twin size fold out beds with a sliding room divider. Please note *you will need to be able to crawl in and out of lofts* . With full size appliances (including washer and dryer) and cooking essentials you will be ready for whatever your trip brings! Whether you want to explore nearby parks, the lake, hiking or just a relaxing night by the wood stove… With unique space saving designs this cabin is very comfortable and cozy.
