All beds have memory foam mattresses that are at least 10 inches thick. A baby gate is set up in the living room at the bottom of the stairs. Fenced back yard for dogs. Grill in garage for guest use. Enjoy downtown Midland and then relax on the couch with multiple streaming apps for your use. Within 10 minute walk to Dow Gardens (admission there includes Tree Canopy walk) and the Center for the Arts, 15 minute walk to Main Street for great food and drinks and occasional live music or outdoor movies during the summer. Thrune Park (small splash park) is a 10 minute walk. Easy to get on to M-20 for a trip to the Soaring Eagle Casino for a show or some slot machines and blackjack.

A wash room with a counter for folding clothes and a washer/dryer are available for your convenience. The kitchen is furnished with custom cabinets, a full-size stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, coffeemaker, dishes and utensils.

GARAGE PARKING: Guests will also have access to in-garage parking with two stalls if needed for inclement weather. Overflow parking is available in two paved parking areas.

ARTWORK, ARCHITECTURE, & OWNER: The home is full of artwork and photography, created by the owner and host, Clark Most. Clark is a graphic designer, photographer-artist and architectural enthusiast who designed and built the home in 2006-2007, and you can learn about some of his work with a simple search on your computer.

INTERACTION WITH OWNER: Clark, the property owner, is often out of town. When he is in town, he may access the lower level, which is completely separate from the upper level and has its own entrance. He also has another nearby home where he often stays. Clark respects your privacy and will avoid contact unless initiated by you. If you do need to reach him for any reason, he is happy to help.

Most guests never meet Clark, but he is always glad to say hello and enjoys chatting if you’re interested.

Our space is a ranch style single family property with two bedrooms and one bathroom. One queen bedroom and one twin bunk room that has a twin bed with a trundle pull out that makes TWO total twin beds.

The living room has a 75 inch screen tv and a dual reclining genuine leather couch. So you won't miss out on game day.. Enjoy access to our fully equipped kitchen to make all of your meals in house if you so choose! A coffee station including travel cups, sugar, tea and coffee is provided, along with access to full size washer and dryer if you need to do laundry during your trip.

The house is secured with a smart lock deadbolt that guests can choose a four digit code to use during their stay.

Crabtree Place is a family-friendly travel experience. We are a non-smoking and pet-free property, with 10 PM outdoor quiet hours (respectable voice levels are acceptable). The house is fully stocked with towels and bedding/pillows all of which have been laundered especially for each guest down to the mattress and pillow protectors and each layer of bedding. You won't need to worry about cuddling up under the blankets and comforters here. They are fresh each time just for you. We provide 2 toilet paper rolls for each bathroom and 1 paper towel roll. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dish soap, and hand soap from a local shop are provided. The kitchen has pots, pans, dishes, a microwave, toaster, blender, wine opener, and a pour-over Chemex coffee carafe with a hot water kettle. We provide Chemex coffee filters, locally roasted coffee, and tea from a locally-owned tea lounge. There are 32" televisions in each bedroom, a 55" TV in the living room, and a 55" TV in the basement funk lounge, each with Roku. PLEASE BRING your logins for your streaming services. Rokus are set up for “guest mode” so you can log in and be automatically logged out at noon on the day of your departure. ROKU has some free options for your watching pleasure if you do not have streaming subscriptions. No local TV service is provided.
