- "The staff was very kind, and they added breakfast for those of us who ran the Berlin marathon. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!" - "They charge €10 for arrivals after 8pm and €20 for after 10pm, even though the receptionist was waiting for others to arrive after 10pm. So a good money maker for the business instead of having an online check in system and a locked key box or door code like most modern places. Just to make extra money, clearly. The first night I had no hot water, and the next day the same problem, the water would go warm, about 30°C - 35°C and then cold again. I was told nobody would come on a weekend, and I was the only person to report this. The next day I only got very cold water, I ran the shower for 10 minutes, it was just cold. So I called the phone, over 1 hour no answer. I messaged on hotels app, no answer, so I had a cold wash with a towel. Later that day I saw the receptionist and she offered to come look. When running the sink tap on hot, and the shower, I was able to get a stream of warm but not hot water. The next day they arrived and fixed it. I asked what kind of compensation do I get for this inconvenience, I said to ask the manager. I got no compensation for this. All in all a very average hotel not bad except if something goes wrong you are left having cold showers and no compensation, they only want to take money for late arrivals, you'd think arriving before midnight is quite standard for a hotel and would not charge a fee, and you’d think if a guest was reporting a cold shower that would be a priority. Wouldn’t stay again. There are better places for the same price. "

Our lovingly furnished vacation apartment in the historic Hansaviertel of Berlin is located on the 3rd floor of the front building of a beautiful old Berlin Altbau – very quiet, between Tiergarten and Spree, but still in the heart of the city.
The apartment has a eat-in kitchen with kitchenette, corner bench and TV. Thanks to induction hotplate, pots, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, pans, soda stream and much more, nothing stands in the way of a nice breakfast or a cozy dinner.

1. Pick up the keys there first. You will get a code from us the day you check in. Once you have a code the shop owner gives you the keys.

The apartment is super central, near Alexanderplatz. Your room is bright, quiet and clean with fast internet. We support the queer, kinky and polynormal community in Berlin. I expect and offer appreciative behavior towards all people and identities and we treat each other in a benevolent manner. Fundamentalists and fanatics please choose another advertisement.

The space
Your room has a wide bed for two people.
Otherwise you will find a folding table with a chair and a shelf with storage space.
You also have a refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishes and cutlery for 2 people, as well as everything for a small breakfast in the room.

If you have something to hang, there are two hooks here behind the door.

Also, an iron with a heat-resistant blanket if you need it.

Towels, shower gel, shampoo and bedding are also provided.

But I store private things in some of the drawers and under the bed.

People of every skin color, every sexual or gender orientation can feel welcome here.

However, we do not want guests under the age of 18 to stay with us. People with a fundamentalist worldview are also not welcome here.

Guest access
There is access to the hallway, guest room and bathroom. The remaining areas are private.

On the open shelves in the bathroom and in the AirBnB room you will find things such as dishes, cleaning cloths and products, toilet paper, fresh towels, a first aid kit, soap and shower gel for refills and the like. These things are also there for my guests.

I also store private items under the bed and in the closets that are not available to guests. Please do not open closed cupboards or sliding compartments and do not put things under the bed.

During your stay
I am often present myself and then live in the room next to you. Sometimes I also sleep outside the house.

If my doors are open, I'll be available to answer questions. If they are closed, I want my privacy or I'm working. Feel free to send me a message via Messenger. Then please refrain from saying “hello” and “goodbye”.

The same applies to you: if your door is closed, I will assume that you want peace and quiet and have had a long night and I will be correspondingly quieter. When you're gone, please leave your door a little bit so that I don't hold back here for no reason.

In principle, the room volume applies during day-time. Since the wall between your bedroom and mine is very thin, I ask that you listen with headphones at bedtime and refrain from making phone calls or loud conversations. Otherwise I will hear everything and won't be able to sleep.

Other things to note
Polynormality and awareness are important to us!

We live polynormality, which means that we appreciate difference and behave benevolently towards other people. But we also expect the same from other people towards us, including our guests. Talk to us and you can achieve a lot here. On the other hand, I do not tolerate disrespect, condescending behavior, fundamentalist statements or discrimination in my apartment. If you cannot or do not want to comply with this due to your religious, political or personal beliefs, look for another advertisement.

This place is the most central in the city. The Gendarmenmarkt is across the street and Checkpoint Charly and Friedrichstraße are within a few minutes' walk. Brandenburg Gate and Potsdamer Platz are also a 10-minute walk from my apartment. It is a very nice area, which is perfectly located especially for tourists.

The space
The sofa bed has a mattress, there is a private small bathroom with shower, you can of course use the entire living room including kitchen-living room and balcony.

The apartment is in the attic, 6th floor, unfortunately there is no elevator.

There are many restaurants and pubs in the area. In addition, we are well connected by public transport (U Seestraße/ U Amrumer Straße)
