Naturally, this isn't controlled by the the owners but it does impact the expected convenience of the dock. I think this is rare occurrence. - The covered dock and boat parking is shared with the other adjacent unit. (This is disclosed.) Boat parking at the dock could be tight. We did enjoy sitting at the dock and watching the pelicans and turtles. The other renters did too! We really enjoyed them but this shared use might not be for everyone."

Welcome to our super cozy and serene cabin at Lake Okeechobee. View beautiful sunsets and watch the boats go by from the screened in porch. This home is in the only log cabin condo community in Florida. We are located on the rim canal of the northern part of the lake. While staying with us, fish from the docks, and if you bring or rent a boat, park it right in your backyard, where the docks are first come, first serve. The property also boasts it own convenient boat slip, which is for use by all the residents and guests of Log Harbor, our community. The closest entry lock to the lake is about a mile away.

Lake Okeechobee is the second largest lake in the United States and has some of the best Bass fishing around.

Shopping is just 10 minutes away. You can enjoy our small town shops and local restaurants. Weekly flea markets and maybe a fishing tournament. If you want to explore a little more Orlando, Miami and Tampa are just 2 hours away and beautiful beaches surrounding you all around.

We do have some rules in place:
No smoking in our property - $500 charge if we find evidence of smoking including the smell of smoke in the property No events or parties. You will not be refunded for your stay if you have a party and are asked to leave early. There may be up to a $1,000 charge for any clean-up or broken, destroyed, or stained items.
No animals are permitted in the home including visiting animals. We will charge an addition $150 per animal if you bring an animal into the property. If you bring an animal you claim is a service animal but does not fit the ADA's requirements, we will report you and there can be a second-degree misdemenor that may incur up to $500 in fines and up to 60-days in jail. We take this very seriously.

MAINTENANCE AND ISSUES: Please report any maintenance needs for the premises to us and we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating and air conditioning, internet, appliances, plumbing, and the television.

Our 2.5 acre property is in a quiet residential neighborhood. There is plenty of peace and quiet and pretty views just outside the door. The house is comfortable and cozy and you will have your own bedroom and bathroom, mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. There is also a new smart TV and plenty of closet space. Shopping and restaurants are about 5 miles away and Lake Okeechobee is about 20 minutes away.

This large sized mobile home will provide a comfortable nights stay for any traveler. The Open Road is tucked away from all the noise and resides in a calm quite community. Not only will you have the amenities of a house but also privileges to our pool, laundry room, and fishing ponds. This particular lot has a great view of the lake and a comfortable area to enjoy coffee.

Important Update:
As of February 16, 2025, our property is classified as a shared space. While guests will have full access to the entire home, the host's bedroom will remain private, and the bathroom will be shared. Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and comfortable environment for all guests while maintaining a balance of privacy and hospitality.

Accommodation Details:
Designed with comfort in mind, our villa is perfect for solo travelers, couples, or small groups. The guest room features a luxurious king-size bed, ensuring restful sleep after a day of adventure.

Base rate: $65 per night for the first guest.
Additional guests: $25 per guest per night (up to two additional guests).
Maximum occupancy: 3 guests (requests for additional guests must be pre-approved by the host).
Community respect: A $200 fee applies if the guest limit is exceeded without prior approval, to ensure the best experience for all.

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Take the peaceful path to the backside of this property and enjoy the beautiful canal view which leads to famous Lake Okeechobee. This cottage is freshly renovated with many special touches and amenities. Get cozy and dine in or cookout on the mini-grill by the canal. Enjoy some fishing, manatees, and soak up the beautiful sounds of nature in this peaceful setting. Cottage is close to shopping and restaurants. Relax in this adorable retreat.

We have 3 security cameras on site, all outside (driveway, pathway, and facing key lock box).
This is an efficiency style room with a queen bed and a small kitchenette, but everything you need for a short stay. There is another home on the property, along with a small dog owned by the other tenants. The backyard space is shared, but the cottage has its own area for relaxing and grilling. Please see my guidebook for local restaurants or fishing guides. The space is cooled and heated with a new window AC/Heater located above the bed. It has its own remote control to allow you to control the temperature. The cottage is located in the Treasure Island neighborhood of Okeechobee. We are easily within 5-8 miles of numerous restaurants and shopping. We are on a canal with direct access to Lake Okeechobee. Please review the area prior to booking.

For guests traveling with pets, the front yard is fully gated and fenced, providing a secure space for your furry companions. We kindly ask that you clean up after your pets to help maintain the cleanliness of the property.

Additionally, the property features a functional fish cleaning house conveniently located off the dock, making it easy for fishing enthusiasts to prepare their fresh catch.

•Please treat the home with care. Excessive messes may result in an additional cleaning fee.

Berry’s is a 1br/1bath guest house located minutes from Lock 7 and Scott Driver boat ramps, Raulerson Hospital, and the Cattlemen’s Arena. The Brighton Seminole Reservation & Casino is only 30 minutes away. Located on 2 acres, Berry’s has ample parking for trucks/trailers, and outdoor receptacles to charge your boat batteries. With a queen bed in the bedroom and a full-size sleeper sofa in the living room, it can sleep 4 guests. Its location and many amenities make it the perfect place to stay.

Berry's Cottage in the Oaks is a guest house. It is adjacent to the host's home. Berry's has a private entrance and plenty of parking and outdoor space. We just ask that you not park in front of the host's home. There are several outdoor electric receptacles available to charge your marine batteries.
