In addition, any pets that will be accompanying you must be mentioned at the time of booking and added to the booking form. Smoking is permitted in your private vehicle only never near the cottage, marijuana/drug uses strictly forbidden, and will be reported if suspected. Please wash your dishes, thoroughly wipe up any spills messes and clean up after your pet. Pets need to remain on a leash at all times.
Please stay within your cottage area each cottage on the property has plenty of space and privacy so if you would like to walk around, there are trails between the main house and the road and the main roads are good for exploring.

No. Our home is in high demand! We use this precious little time to prepare the home following the CDC Cleaning Guidelines and complete any maintenance tasks so your stay is uninterrupted. If additional time is important to you, we recommend booking an additional night for your stay.

Do you allow luggage drop-off for early arrivals or late departures?

- No, unfortunately, we are unable to offer luggage drop-off at this time.

Can I book on behalf of a friend, family member, or co-worker?

- No. While we would love to host whoever you are booking for, we do need them to book for themselves with their own account. You can potentially earn travel credit by referring someone to book their first reservation. Go to Account Settings and click on Invite Friends for more details.

The grill is propane. Please check propane levels when you arrive. There is a spare tank for you to use, which is located in the shed. If you use the spare, please let us know so we can refill after you checkout.

- "We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Pine City on Cross Lake at the Edgewater Bungalow! The home is well designed with an open kitchen, and dining room. The kitchen has a nice island for preparing food and the dining area contains a large wooden table perfect for family games. The kitchen is well stocked. The only thing we could have used more of were more dish towels and dish soap. Really appreciated all the plastic containers in which to store leftovers and the set of colorful serving bowels. The master bedroom, which is located upstairs, is wonderful! The bathroom has two sinks and the shower is spacious. The mattress is very comfortable, but our favorite part was the trapezoid window which allowed us to look at the moon or watch the clouds drift by. We often ate on the deck which offers incredible views of a portion of the lake. Although the home is lovely, we spent most of our time outside, floating near the dock with our cocktail of the day, kayaking, and playing beanbags down by the water. Our adult kids really appreciated the short trip from the cities, the good Wi-Fi, and the Nintendo Switch. We all appreciated the warm water and the weedless area off the end of the dock. Had plenty of beach towels but could have used more bath towels. One day we rented a pontoon from Pine-toon rental and enjoyed a full day of boating. My husband tried some fishing but wasn’t very successful. Maybe he’ll have more luck when we return next year!"

While we went in the winter, we got the full winter wonderland experience with tubing and playing on the frozen lake. They have a wonderful deck with a grill that we did utilize. Enjoy a cabin getaway available year round, only 1 hour north of the Twin Cities. Our 2-bedroom, 2-bath vacation rental cabin (sleeps 8-10) is nestled alongside Lake Pokegama in Pine City. It is west-facing and offers beautiful sunset views, an open floor plan including a 4-season porch, and lawn to enjoy bonfires and yard games. Snowmobile trails nearby and ice fishing is steps away. Dock your boat, rent one nearby or use the provided canoe and 2 paddle boards to explore the 1,500-acre lake with 2 restaurants, 2 launches, and access to the Snake River and Cross Lake.
The space
We have a master bedroom with a comfortable king size bed and smart TV. The “bunk room” has 2-kings and 4-twins to sleep up to 8. Two newly remodeled full bathrooms.
Guest access
Our guests have access to entire property except a couple locked areas inside the cabin and garage where we keep personal belongings. We don't rent our pontoon boat or jet ski, but have a few nearby rental options.
Other things to note
We have used a rental management company for 3 years, we had 4.9/5 star rating on VRBO. Now that we are managing ourselves we have to start over with reviews. I have included a few of our guests comments from our guest book in the photos.
Lake Pokegama is beautiful year round, but like many Minnesota lakes it can get green by August depending on rain, wind, etc. If swimming around the dock is important to you during your stay, we highly recommend booking in June or July. This 1400-Sq Ft house on Cross Lake is the perfect getaway! Easy access from the Twin Cities - only an hour north on I-35.
Cross Lake is around a 1000-acre lake with good water quality and beautiful nature. Great for fishing, boating, kayaking, whatever water activities you like.
The house is on two levels, one bedroom and one bathroom on each floor. Living room has a sofa bed that can be used as additional sleeping arrangement.
Our Floe dock is in the water from Memorial Day through September and is very convenient for parking your boat or jet skis.
Chengwatana State Forest (29,041 acres) is about 10 minutes from the house and has trails for x-country skiing, horseback riding, ATV's, and hunting.
Plenty to do, no matter what the season is!

There are no TV's at the house, but there is a wireless internet for surfing and streaming.

Feel free to utilize the shared outdoor fridge located at the back of the home. For your exclusive enjoyment, we provide a fire pit, picnic table, and propane grill. Inside the cottage, you'll find an electric kettle, French press, and a selection of coffee and teas. The cabinet holds wine glasses, cups, plates, silverware, and everything you need for cooking on your private grill. Across the road, behind the cottage, you'll find a rustic outhouse with a bucket shower, soaps, and your own private camping toilet! During the summer months, there's a freshwater spigot available next to the refrigerator at the back of the house. Please note, we kindly request no cats.
To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, we have the following additional rules regarding pets: We accept up to two dogs under 20lbs only Please register your pets at the time of booking to make appropriate accommodations. Pets must be on a leash at all times and please clean up after them. For their safety, pets are not allowed to be left unattended in the cottage due to its small size. • NEIGHBORS: Yep, that’s us living next door across the creek. We give you all the privacy you need but are ready to swoop in if you need help or even a cup of sugar. If you see any of our other neighbors out and about, say hello. They are all friendly and wonderful!

• ACCESSIBILITY ALERT: Unfortunately, not handicap friendly. There are steps to enter the cabin, narrow hall & doorways, and uneven ground around the property.

• KIDDO DISCLAIMER: Little adventurers are welcome, but infants and toddlers might find it tricky. We’ve got stairs, high decks, bumpy ground, a fiery fire pit, and no baby-proofing gear. There is no fence and an open creek that leads to the bay. Keep those tiny explorers supervised at all times!

• WELL WATER: Our shallow well is great for showers but not so much for drinking. We provide a complimentary gallon of water but please bring enough water and ice for your stay.

• WINDOW A/C: No central air, but the unit in the living room keeps it chill up front. Nighttime breezes + open windows = comfortable evening temps. Each room is equipped with fans and there is a furnace for those rare, cold summer nights.

• SMILE, YOU’RE ON CAMERA: Two motion-activated BLINK cameras keep an eye out and record short, audio/video clips. One is located on the path that leads to our house. It partially covers the driveway of the cabin. The other camera is located by the dock. By booking this property you acknowledge and accept the presence of these cameras.

• SEASONAL SHENANIGANS: This cabin is a summer fling – only around part of the year. Bookings are gold, so our cancellation policy is firm. Please make sure you understand the policy when booking and grab trip insurance for life’s curveballs -weather, car trouble, colds, or delayed flights!

• NATURE’S WILD PARTY: We can’t tame the weather, bugs, allergies, lake levels, algae blobs, or finicky fish! We fight the pest battle hard, but we are guests in a wooded environment. There are lots of critters in the neighborhood including wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, deer, turtles, loons, eagles and the occasional visit from Yogi Bear. If you are lucky, you will catch the magical glow of fireflies and hear the hooting of our favorite resident, Owl Pacino. If you check out the bay, you may see the biggest beaver this side of the Mississippi, GNAWS!

Everything is new and beautiful and ever so peaceful! 24/7 quiet here but gorgeous like a state park. But wait for it…we have a spa/ fitness cottage and offer massages!
Check in after 4pm, checkout before 11 am. No smoking/vaping other than in your personal vehicle. No drugs/marijuana whatsoever, you will be asked to leave. Pets must be included in booking and weight limits of 2 under 20 lbs. or 1 under 50. Never left unattended please and always on a leash.
Use two small armloads of wood per day. if this is abused there will be an extra fee at checkout. Follow toilet usage carefully and before checkout wipe up spills/sweep up messes, close all doors/windows, air off/heat to lowest setting and wash your dishes. We accept twos dogs under 20lbs only If this rule is ignored extra charges will apply. (reach out if your pet does not fall under our rule policy we can make exceptions at times).
Dogs need to be kept on a leash at all times and please clean up after your pet. Have fun! [Smoking is not permitted inside or outside of this property, only in your private vehicle and zero tolerance for marijuana/drug use of any kind and will be reported accordingly if suspected.
Firewood is provided, but please use a reasonable amount for your stay. A small bundle per day is reasonable so you can leave some wood for other people. While staying in the Tower which is named for the corner tower overlooking our fields. The open spaces are yours to enjoy as you walk amongst our 100 year old White Pines.

Pine City is a small, friendly town that's fun to explore. During the summer, stop by Robinson Park to listen to local musical acts on Friday nights and check out the Farmers Market at the Fair Grounds, open for the season from June 14, 2024, through October, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Only 7 miles away from this cabin retreat, Pine City offers easy access to groceries and other needs. There's a restaurant/pub within walking distance, yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. There are also two restaurant/bars with boat (and car) access on the lake, perfect for dining while boating. Additionally, there are two local wineries (one only 8 miles away!) and three local breweries.

o The one-room, 250-square-foot tiny cottage, located behind the house, next to the gardens, holds the following:
• a writer's/artist's nook, brightened by a woodsy view from the Emily Dickinson-ish desk
• an intimate kitchenette with Breville air fryer, two-burner cooktop, cookware, & staples (many harvested from the gardens)
• a living area with sofa (futon THAT FEELS LIKE A FUTON), beverage station, & games
• a lofted space that seconds as a cozier-than-ever bed WITH A FOAM MATTRESS ((cozy means COZY - long legs may have to slightly bend due to the slanting of the roof (I’m 5’ 9” & fit well); two people in the loft will sleep near & dear))
~Together, the loft & futon SNUGGLY, SNUGGLY sleep up to four
~ The loft has A FOAM MATTRESS; the FUTON IS A FUTON
o The Cottage’s porch will greet you, & you may find solitude in the back, taking in the maple-ash-oak view

o The bathroom facilities are limited to the PORTA-POTTY located about 100 FEET FROM THE COTTAGE (please see images); there IS NOT a shower, & again, no running water
o Pets are welcome; however, I do request that dogs are on leash as I have grand-dogs who visit often & to ensure my neighbors’ properties are respected

Besides the Cottage, you will have access to the backyard of the property's one acre, including its amenities: meditation circle, hammocks, sandbox, campfire, & then some. This space will be shared with me; though I limit my use during your stay. While the woods to the south are available for viewing, they are not part of my property & wandering through is unfortunately not an option. However, you can take the walking path in front of the property and go around the corner to trails abutting the Snake River & the public landing. In addition, there are local state parks near: Chengwatana State Forest, Governor Knowles State Forest, Wild River State Park, St. Croix River & State Park, Banning State Park, & Crex Meadows State Wildlife Area.

Pine City is a small, friendly town that's fun to explore. During the summer, stop by Robinson Park to listen to local musical acts on Friday nights and check out the Farmers Market at the Fair Grounds, open for the season from June 14, 2024, through October, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Only 7 miles away from this cabin retreat, Pine City offers easy access to groceries and other needs. There's a restaurant/pub within walking distance, yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. There are also two restaurant/bars with boat (and car) access on the lake, perfect for dining while boating. Additionally, there are two local wineries (one only 8 miles away!) and three local breweries.

- Labor Day Weekend (2023 events, will update for 2024): Sunday, September 3, 2023, includes a 2:00 pm flyover made possible by local donations, live music on the Island from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm, and fireworks at dusk.

This cabin has 130 feet of direct frontage on the Snake River. Wooded acreage gives you privacy and the up north feeling, yet is less than 1 hour from MPLS, and 10 minutes from historic Pine City, a great place for you to shop and grab a bite. You can use the kayaks or tubes to float down to the St. Croix, or hang a fishing line out and see what you catch! Message me for ideas!

Our cabin is equipped with very fast internet (60 mbps) offering guests an easy way to work remotely if desired.

We allow dogs (not other pets) on the property; however we require that guests pay a $100 non-refundable pet fee before we finalize the booking. We expect that you will clean up after your dog and let us know of any incidences. Absolutely no wet dogs allowed inside the home.

Outdoor seating on the covered front deck with string lights make way for the perfect evening. We spray for bugs on the property throughout the summer, so you can enjoy the outdoors long into the night. A propane grill is free to use. Enjoy using our electric barrel sauna year round (simple directions for use are located in the cabin).

We ask that guests provide their own firewood and kindling/fire starters for the campfire. Most gas stations are stocked with bundles of firewood to purchase on your way. You are welcome to find sticks around the property to use as well.

Private river access is available on the property with seating overlooking the river. Enjoy swimming or fishing in the river as well as the beautiful views it provides!

Plenty of parking space is available right next to the cabin. Due to the weather in MN, please be prepared for winter travel when coming to and from our cabin. We make sure the driveway to the cabin is plowed for you but cannot guarantee how the roads leading there will be. We are located off of a gravel road.

Please note: We do not have laundry facilities on site. If a washer/dryer is needed, there is a clean, well-kept laundromat 10 minutes away in Pine City, MN.

IMPORTANT NOTES AND POLICY FOR GUESTS:

STEEP STAIRCASE - Guests must be able to climb steep stairs in order to book, as the only bed is in the loft, accessible via a steep staircase. Some unique features and potential obstacles within the cabin may not be suitable for some guests. If you are pregnant, please be cautious going up and down the stairs to and from the loft. There is a handrail and grip mat on the steps for added safety.

CHILDREN UNDER 12 - As much as we love kids, due to certain unique features inside the cabin that are difficult to modify for safety, we are unable to accommodate guests under 12 at this time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy.

PETS - We are unable to host pets at this time. However, trained and certified service animals are always welcome. (Please note, emotional support animals do not qualify.)

FRAGRANCE SENSITIVITY - To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, we kindly ask that you be mindful of the use of strong perfumes, colognes, or any heavily scented products. We strive to maintain a neutral and allergen-free environment for all future guests, and your consideration is greatly appreciated.

ESSENTIAL OILS & BODY OILS - For the comfort of all guests, the use of essential oils and body oils is not permitted inside the property. These oils can be difficult to remove from linens and furniture, and we want to maintain the cleanliness and quality of the space for everyone.

COOKING - We ask that all guests be mindful of those arriving after them when cooking. Please open windows and turn on the ceiling fan to help ventilate the cabin to reduce any lingering scents. If food odors, particularly from oily dishes, linger on the bed linens and we are required to replace the sheets as a result, an additional fee will be charged to cover the cost of new linens.

DAMAGE/VIOLATION - A fee of up to $200 or more may be charged for any damage to the property, depending on the extent. Any violation of the cabin house rules may result in being asked to leave the property.

• NEIGHBORS: Yep, that’s us living next door across the creek. We give you all the privacy you need but are ready to swoop in if you need help or even a cup of sugar. If you see any of our other neighbors out and about, say hello. They are all friendly and wonderful!

• ACCESSIBILITY ALERT: Unfortunately, not handicap friendly. There are steps to enter the cabin, narrow hall & doorways, and uneven ground around the property.

• KIDDO DISCLAIMER: Little adventurers are welcome, but infants and toddlers might find it tricky. We’ve got stairs, high decks, bumpy ground, a fiery fire pit, and no baby-proofing gear. There is no fence and an open creek that leads to the bay. Keep those tiny explorers supervised at all times!

• WELL WATER: Our shallow well is great for showers but not so much for drinking. We provide a complimentary gallon of water but please bring enough water and ice for your stay.

• WINDOW A/C: No central air, but the unit in the living room keeps it chill up front. Nighttime breezes + open windows = comfortable evening temps. Each room is equipped with fans and there is a furnace for those rare, cold summer nights.

• SMILE, YOU’RE ON CAMERA: Two motion-activated BLINK cameras keep an eye out and record short, audio/video clips. One is located on the path that leads to our house. It partially covers the driveway of the cabin. The other camera is located by the dock. By booking this property you acknowledge and accept the presence of these cameras. There are no other cameras located on the cabin property.

• SEASONAL SHENANIGANS: This cabin is a summer fling – only around part of the year. Bookings are gold, so our cancellation policy is firm. Please make sure you understand the policy when booking and grab trip insurance for life’s curveballs -weather, car trouble, colds, or delayed flights!

• NATURE’S WILD PARTY: We can’t tame the weather, bugs, allergies, lake levels, algae blobs, or finicky fish! We fight the pest battle hard, but we are guests in a wooded environment. There are lots of critters in the neighborhood including wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, deer, turtles, loons, eagles and the occasional visit from Yogi Bear. If you are lucky, you will catch the magical glow of fireflies and hear the hooting of our favorite resident, Owl Pacino. Welcome to the NorthStar! Perfectly situated for your cabin adventures, the NorthStar is just an hour's drive from the Twin Cities. (As a bonus, it's just under an hour and a half to Duluth! )

A thoughtfully-designed, small cabin (700 sq ft) with an abundance of charm, the NorthStar is perfect for your vacations. Located on the northern bay of Pokegama Lake, you are free to explore.

The space
The NorthStar sleeps (5) comfortably , (an additional cot/mattress make it possible to accommodate 6 people), and features a wrap-around porch that is ready for all weather. Half of the porch is open and the other half is covered. Raining? No problem. You can still enjoy the fresh air without getting wet! Would you like your kids (or in-laws ;-) in a tent? There is plenty of space between the lake and cabin.

There are spots on Pokegama Lake, Cross Lake and the Snake River (which connects the 2 lakes) that are great for swimming. However, the lakefront directly in front of the cabin has a very shallow and muddy bottom and unfortunately is NOT SUITABLE FOR SWIMMING.

Boat (motorized and non-motorized alike) on the picturesque lake; you will need to bring your own and use the public access points to launch. Hunt in the surrounding area or hike on the trails!

Maybe you're looking for a quiet space to retreat and work remotely? The NorthStar features high-speed internet for you to do everything you'll need while working away from home.

The garage is NOT available for guest use.

Do NOT go into the water from the yard or dock. The water is too shallow. You are free to use the public access just across the bay or on the south side of Pokegama Lake.

The space
Great lake views from both levels. One bedroom and one full bath on each floor. Big deck for hanging out and eating meals.
The house looks west with great views and lots of light. Lower floor stays quite a bit cooler in the summer, but thanks to radiant heating system, is nice an warm in the winter.
Upstairs fireplace sets a perfect mood for sipping tea or wine at the bar corner.
Since we want to enjoy the lake and the nature, we haven't installed any TV's or sounds systems in the house. There is wireless internet, for the guests to surf and stream on their devices.
We have a wireless speaker that can be used for listening to music.

Guest access
Guests can access the entire house, the yard, the dock and we have an inflatable paddle board, an Alumacraft row boat, and a kayak that are also for the guests to take advantage of.
If you want to throw a frisbee or play ball, feel free to use the vacant corner lot across the road.
The garage is not for guest use at this time.

Cross lake is great for fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking.

Our Floe Dock is in use from May through September.

A perfect little getaway nestled on the Snake River, this home has access to Cross & Pokegama Lakes. Step outside to ice fish in the Winter and cast a line off the dock in the Spring & Summer. The space
Take the spiral staircase up to our second level, where all of our upstairs bedrooms (3) have new Queen mattresses as of 2024. There is one bedroom with a futon that is located on the main level.

The kitchen provides the basics: Salt/Pepper & Oil. There is a Keurig Coffee Maker and a Toaster provided. We have pots and pans to use on our gas stove/oven. There are baking dishes and other basic utensils and dishes provided.

In the living room, there is a TV with a Firestick to login and access your preferred streaming services - Netflix, Hulu, Etc.

Out on the private patio, there is a Pellet Smoker with Pellets provided.

The house is located in the charming town of Pine City. A short walk to restaurants, a brewery, local co-op, etc.! The closest boat launch in town is about .9 miles from our house. Pop your boat in the water in town and park it at our dock.

We have driveway parking for 2 vehicles. There is street parking available as well. It is a quiet neighborhood.

This home is a duplex, with one shared back deck. The Pellet Smoker is on a private side patio, but don't worry! There are still views of the river.

I so wish I could post a picture of the pontoon, it's the most beautiful little boat I have ever seen. Jim is a true craftsman. Every detail of the restoration is perfect. Every time we took it out we felt like an Oriole in a flock of sparrows. At night it just glows, Jim added LEDs under the canopy and also above the pontoons. Everything is so clean and expertly maintained, the house, property and equipment. One thing I was surprised about is that they didn't nickel and dime us. PINE CITY is a small friendly town that is also fun to explore. During the summer, stop by Robinson Park to listen to local musical acts on Friday nights and check out the Farmers Market at the Fair Grounds opens for the season on June 13, 2025 through October, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Only 7 miles away from this cabin retreat there is close easy access to groceries and other needs. There is a restaurant/pub within walking distance and yet far enough away to be very quiet and peaceful. There are 2 restaurant/bars with boat (and car) access on this lake! Go out to eat while boating on the water! There are 2 local wineries and 3 local breweries also!
MID JUNE through OCTOBER: Farmers Market, Fridays and Saturdays 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Fair Grounds.
JULY: ArtFest (July 20, 2024 9am-3pm) Robinson Park, Pine City with exhibitors, food, arts & crafts, live music.
AUGUST: Annually the Pine County Fair is the first weekend in August (July 30 - August 3, 2025) and has traditionally offered free parking and free entry fees! Stop by the Pokegama Lake Corn Booth (on your right as you enter the fair from the North East) for Corn on the Cob, Rootbeer Floats, and least expensive cold bottled water at the Pine County Fair at $1.00 in 2023. The corn booth is a fundraiser for (our) Pokegama Lake Association.
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT: (August 5, 2025) (5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in 2024) In Robinson Park. National Night Out is an annual community-building effort to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. There will be games and activities for the family to enjoy throughout the evening.
SEPTEMBER: Labor Day Weekend; 8/31/25, 2pm Annual Fly Over made possible from local donations. 5pm - 9pm live music on the Island with Fireworks at dusk.

Cozy cabin on almost an acre w/ a new 21 ft PRINCECRAFT PONTOON and CEDAR SAUNA (added charges). Near the casino and amenities of Pine City, on the NE corner of Cross Lake, connected to Pokegema by the Snake River. Swim, boat, fish, kayak, paddleboard, or relax around the fire. You won’t run out of things to do! We have comfy couches, gas fireplace, patio furniture, gas grill, a well stocked kitchen, and comfy beds. Pontoon: $1500/week. Inquire about shorter stays. The space
Our cabin has an open floor plan and a huge yard on Cross Lake, with paddleboards and no stairs necessary to get to the shore. We have a new gas grill and fire pit (2024), and often have both propane and firewood on site. We have comfortable furniture including a new KING bed, a comfy queen, and 3 cozy singles. Please note: the loft has a ship’s ladder (steep stairs) that may not be suitable for small children or people with physical limitations.

Our GORGEOUS 2023 21' Princecraft Pontoon has a 115 hp motor and a Humminbird fish finder/GPS, for hours of fishing, swimming, tubing, or just cruising around the lake. The Snake River connects us with Pokegema Lake where you can dock at your choice of two great restaurants, as well as landings in Pine City where there are more restaurants, parks, a brewery, and many more fun things to do.

Other things to note
Mid-May to mid-September, the pontoon must be rented with the cabin. To rent the pontoon, you must be over age 27, have a credit card on file, and assume full responsibility/liability. See more in rules.

We usually have firewood and propane for the grill, but we do not guarantee it. Tank refills are easy to get in Pine City or you can bring a tank from home if you want to take your propane home with you.

Most lakes in Minnesota get some algae and weeds later in the season. We do our best to keep our area clean and sandy by the dock and swim raft. The best swimming is from the pontoon which has a swim ladder and back deck for endless fun.

Well water has been tested, softened, and is safe to drink. We have ice trays and a Brita filter for flavor, but there is still a slight mineral taste to the water.

Pet fee is for each pet (dogs only).

NO PARTIES. No noise after 11pm. No extra guests that aren't on the reservation. There is a $500 fee for breaking these rules. Thank you for understanding.

Our cabin is equipped with very fast internet (60 mbps) offering guests an easy way to work remotely if desired.

We allow dogs (not other pets) on the property; however we require that guests pay a $100 non-refundable pet fee before we finalize the booking. We expect that you will clean up after your dog and let us know of any incidences. Absolutely no dogs are allowed on the rugs, furniture or beds.

Outdoor seating on the screened in front deck with string lights make way for the perfect evening. We spray for bugs on the property throughout the summer, so you can enjoy the outdoors long into the night. A propane grill is available for use. Enjoy using our electric barrel sauna year round (simple directions for use are located in the cabin).

We ask that guests provide their own firewood and kindling/fire starters for the campfire. Most gas stations are stocked with bundles of firewood to purchase on your way. You are welcome to find sticks around the property to use as well.

Private river access is available on the property with a covered patio, fire pit, and seating. Enjoy swimming or fishing in the river as well as the beautiful views it provides!

Plenty of parking space is available right next to the cabin. Due to the weather in MN, please be prepared for winter travel when coming to and from our cabin. We make sure the driveway to the cabin is plowed for you but cannot guarantee how the roads leading there will be. We are located off of a gravel road.

Please note: We do not have laundry facilities on site. If a washer/dryer is needed, there is a clean, well-kept laundromat 10 minutes away in Pine City, MN.

Area Attractions? Grand Casino Hinckley is about 20 minutes away! There are several wineries (peacocks & pheasants!) and a lovely cidery with food trucks, classes and a fun farm to walk around! Bring your 4-wheeler, and enjoy the trails!

The space
The property has 3 bedrooms. Two small rooms upstairs and one larger room in the basement. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a set of twin bunk beds. The other two bedrooms have queen beds. There are also two sofa sleepers available. The kitchen was recently renovated and has lots of room for the whole group. The upstairs living room has 180 degree views of the lake and leads out the the deck.

We do not have central air, but do have a large floor unit AC in place ready to go.

Guest access
You have access to the whole house, yard, and lake area. There are a couple of cabinets that are locked to store owners belongings and supplies for our cleaners.

This is a shared driveway make sure your vehicles do not block the driveway. Do not drive up into the lawn. If you need additional parking you can park across the road in the grass. Please park as far to the North (right from road) as you can if using this extra parking.

The garage is not available for guests.

The pontoon is not available for guests at this time. Please do not operate the boat lift or go into the pontoon while on the lift.

The firewood in the side of the garage is not for guests. Please bring your own firewood.

Ready for a relaxing lakefront getaway without sacrificing the conveniences of home? Located just an hour north of Minneapolis, the Edgewater Bungalow is where your adventure begins! This newly built (2018) home offers a uniquely styled 3 BD, 3 BA home and can sleep up to 10. It offers all of the amenities of home (free wifi, Alexa, technology charging station, Netflix, Disney+) and including a washer and dryer, fire pit, dock, large deck, fully equipped kitchen and so much more!

The space
The property has an open floor concept on the main floor where the kitchen and master bedroom are located. Access to the deck is also on the mainfloor. The bottom floor has a bunkroom, a queen bedroom, living room, wet bar, and bathroom. There is also direct access to the backyard from the bottom floor. When you walk out, you are land on the patio which then has steps down to the firepit area and further steps take you straight to the dock. The backyard is a tiered retaining wall that leads immediately to the water.

We have life jackets, a lily pad, paddle boards, and kayaks available. We potentially have a fishing house for the winter, please message for more details and availability!

Enjoy a cabin getaway available all 4 seasons, only 1 hour north of the Twin Cities. Our remodeled 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin is nestled on Lake Pokegama in Pine City. It is west-facing and offers beautiful sunset views, an open floor plan including a 4-season porch, and lawn to enjoy bonfires and yard games. Dock your boat, rent one or use the provided canoe and 2 paddle boards to explore the 1,500-acre lake with 2 launches, and access to the Snake River and Cross Lake, nearby snowmobile trails

The space
We have a master bedroom with a comfortable king size bed and smart TV. The “bunk room” has 2-kings and 4-twins to sleep up to 8. Two newly remodeled full bathrooms.

Guest access
Our guests have access to entire property except a couple locked areas inside the cabin and garage where we keep personal belongings. We don't rent our pontoon boat or jet ski, but have a few nearby rental options.

Other things to note
Lake Pokegama is beautiful year round, but like many Minnesota lakes it can get green by August depending on rain, wind, etc. If swimming around the dock is important to you during your stay, we highly recommend booking in June or July. Otherwise typically deeper water out in the middle of the lake is good for swimming all Summer.

Our cabin is great for your next relaxing getaway! Including a dock right on the lake, hot tub, fire pit, and big enough for everyone to space out.

Located right near Pine City and only about 12 miles south of Hinckley.

Our lake is good for swimming with a sandy bottom and great for fishing too! There are stairs going down to the lake and a handrail for safety.

The rental is the entire place including the main level and upstairs.

Right down the street is a public boat launch if you’re bringing a boat.

Located on the northern tip of Lake Pokegama on Pokegama Creek, there is a dock just walking distance and a public boat launch 2 mins away for all the fishermen. A 4 bedrooms cabin with 7 beds, 3 full bathrooms and two big living areas, there's plenty of space for a big crowd.

The cabin will make you feel like you are in the middle of the woods but you are only a few miles away from the nearest gas station and Walmart.

Guest have access to the entire house and deck area. The house is always armed before and after each stay. To enter the house, an access code will be sent to the guest a day in advance. There are cameras on the outside premise.
