We are a 501-3 animal sanctuary that focuses on critically endangered animals, and also offers permanent houses to many different species of wildlife, and farm animals. We have many different species of animals that you would normally only be able to see at the zoos like our New Guinea singing dog, rock hyraxes, foxes, and Patagonia cavy. Come relax and enjoy the quiet life of county living. We have many animals that you are able to interact with, and we are also right off of Trilby rd where many cyclists enjoy training on some of the rare hills in Florida.

This is a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment with a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. The apartment is about 1000sq feet with all the convences of home. Stay for the night or stay for a couple of weeks!! We have a small family run 501C-3 wildlife sanctuary here on our 18 acre facility that you will be staying at. We do live on the property, but in a detached house across the driveway

Peaceful location close to shopping, restaurants, golf courses. and fishing. ten minutes to hundreds of miles of trails for walking, biking, horseback riding. Charming outside screen house equipped with bar, large wood smoker, lounge chairs, TV , and magical night lights for just hanging out. Patio with 6 chairs and nice wooden table with umbrella and gas grill just outside the kitchen door. Property entirely fenced for children and dogs. 1.5 hours to all theme parks. 35 minutes to river kayaking and quiet family gulf beach. One hour to Tampa and airport. Make this your new "happy place". When not rented it is loved by friends and family for their vacations. Up to 2 well behaved dogs but no cats as owner and family are allergic.

We drove down from PA so we didn't arrive until the early hours of the next morning, so be greeted with special touches made it extra welcoming. The lights were on so we could easily see the house as we were pulling down the driveway and there was a bottle of wine and a note from the owner waiting for us. She also let carrots in the fridge to feed the neighbor's horses. It was a perfect size stay for our family of 4 and it was nice and quiet which helped it feel like home. If we need a place to stay in that area of Florida, we would definitely rebook it. On prior trips to that area we stayed at hotels and this was nicer, cleaner, and cheaper! This beautiful well kept travel trailer sits on a beautiful acre lot, with it's own fenced in area. It has it's own water, power, and septic hook up. There is a huge covered deck out front with a fire pit. It is a perfect little get away.

This travel trailer is located near multiple (at least 11) wedding venues, Tree Hoppers, Kumquat festival, Rattlesnake Festival, Scream-A-Geddon Horror Park, Snowcat Ridge, Seratoma Youth Ranch, and Bug Jam.

The travel trailer will sleep 10 comfortably. There is an indoor and outdoor kitchen, 3 TV's, and both kitchens fully stocked. The rental also includes clean linens.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed with 2 closets. The second bedroom is a bunkhouse that sleeps 4. The common area has a comfy sofa that folds out into a full size bed. The dinette transforms into another full size bed.

The fenced in area is 50x40 feet. It has a beautiful huge Oak Tree that provides a lot of shade. It makes for the perfect vacation yard for your fur baby.

We are a small family run 501c-3 wildlife sanctuary. During your stay you will be able to see many unique and critically endangered animals, like a Patagonia Mara, a New Guinea Singing Dog, Lemurs, Wolfdogs, African Wildcats, critically endangered sheep, pheasants, peacocks, different wild breeds of ducks, the smallest and largest breeds of bunnies, horses, mouflon sheep, and much more.

Our farm is located in one of the few hilly areas of Florida, with the Trilby Trails just minutes away. Duck Haven is a private pet friendly studio apartment whose closest neighbors are a well behaved flock of crittically endangered sheep. It features a queen size bed, and a queen size sleeper sofa that can accommodate up to 4 guests. We have provided all the things that you might need to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. We have a convection oven, microwave over, hot plate, coffee maker, and a full size refrigerator inside the apartment for all your cooking needs. *Please note that we do not have a kitchen sink. Dishes will need to be washed in the bathroom.*

Come and enjoy sitting outside by the fire pit, enjoy the wonderful display of stars, or enjoy relaxing as you watch the nearby sheep and horses as they steadily munch the grass in the pastures.

Unfortunately, during the months of February-March, this area of Florida is packed with Snowbirds, Spring training fans, and early Spring breakers. Finding an affordable escape is not easy. We were fortunate to find this location in Hernando county that was quiet, affordable, and away from it all. The hosts were helpful and interested in our enjoying our stay.
