This airstream has a beautiful, modern full bathroom, with shower, toilet and radiant heat. The hot tub is available all year around, with air conditioning in the summer, and forced hot air heat to keep you warm in the winter.

This cabin also allows you to drive up directly to the site, without having to walk.

- "After so many nights spent pouring over tiny houses online and watching every HGTV show on the subject, this cozy little place answered the call. We arrived from the airport late so we didn’t know what to expect driving in. The property was easy to find and the Alice in Wonderland style signs were so cute and easy to follow - even at almost midnight after a day of traveling from the west coast. The wooded path to The Tiny House is a little bouncy but when you come out into the clearing you’ve entered another world. It was too dark to realize the magnitude of our surroundings but the adorable house stood ready to welcome us. When we got up the next morning we were absolutely awestruck by the lake and forrest views out of every window. Bed linens, mattresses and pillows were soft and we slept like logs. There are canoes and pedal boats as well as a crazy trampoline float in the middle of the lake! This is not the right stay for you if you are looking for long luxurious showers (the small water tank is clearly noted in the incredibly thorough house manual) but if you want all the joys of the outdoors while staying conveniently located to the city, this is the most unbelievably lovely option."

Anytime you visit June Farms you have access to all 120 acres, and can explore the farm meeting all of our happy farm animals!

The space was built in 2022 and was custom made for June Farms! It was built into the hillside of our 120-acre property and is within walking distance (150 feet) of our farm animals and The Pony Barn bar and restaurant.

One of the great things about June Farms is its proximity to the Albany Amtrak train station. It is a very simple, and short Uber ride (10 minutes) should you decide to take the train. There is also a Greyhound Bust Station in downtown Albany, also 10 minutes from the farm. Otherwise, we would suggest renting a car so that you can drive to the nearby grocery stores and restaurants. Around the farm, you can walk or rent a golf cart during your trip.

Please keep in mind that when you visit June Farms, the most special part is being in nature, and your ability no matter when you stay with us, to walk around and visit with all of the farm animals. Because we are a very popular event space, you should NOT expect the bar and restaurant to be open when you are visiting because we may rent out the bar/restaurant privately at the last minute. This will not affect your reservation, or your ability to walk around the farm. However, there will be no food and bar service on the property if we do have a private event, in which case you will need to visit one of the neighboring fine restaurants or grocery stores.

The Lodge at June Farms is a stunning, rustic, open-floor-plan retreat. The screened-in front porch looks down onto our beautiful horse pasture. This main cabin is our most romantic cabin on the property. Our gigantic rain shower in the bathroom has an 8'x5' wall mirror and a French door that opens out to the forest. If you are a cook, this cabin is a chef's dream.

You will have the entire cabin to yourselves, and be able to walk around our beautiful gentleman's farm and meet all of our animals!

One thing to note, The Lodge is 300 feet up the hill and through the woods from The Pony Barn, a rustic bar/lounge serving the finest local and NY state spirits, as well as wood fired pizza. The Pony Barn is typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and has private parties throughout the year. In season, The Pony Barn is open Tues-Sat, from 4pm-11pm, Sunday from 11-4.

If you are looking to enjoy the restaurant/bar, you are certainly welcome to join in on the fun at the bar, no reservation needed for cabin guests.

- "The 1840s farmhouse is utterly charming and filled with books, art, antiques and interesting objects. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was a highlight of our stay. We had a mechanical issue that has since been resolved but my reason for mentioning it is Randy and Joe’s gracious responsiveness in dealing with it. Randy also provided us with lots of valuable information about area resources and attractions. The master bedroom is the only room with an air conditioner and the house lacks updates such as a dishwasher, but I believe the rental rate reflects this so I have not deducted any stars on account of it."

The farmhouse is a dedicated vacation home with a private driveway. It’s mainly rented as a full house but we are open to renting to smaller groups for less than ‘full price’ with a last minute booking, simply inquire. You have access to a outdoor fire pit, outdoor patio and grill with outdoor lawn furniture. Gardens and plants...enjoy picking and eating produce/herbs growing on the farm. We supply coffee/tea, spices etc in our fully stocked kitchen! A NESPRESSO machine can be requested if you supply your own pods.
The barns are not for guest use unless specifically rented as part of a 'venue' package or other agreement, please inquire.
Other things to note
This is a historic Hudson Valley home, in our region you can expect bugs such as boxelder beetles, lady bugs, stink bugs, ants and bees seasonally.

Bring cook equipment or rent ours! Your private designated bathroom in the main barn and a ‘shared’ piano lounge area compliment your stay.

The Parliament Den is your private accommodations for sleeping. The upper level is a large enclosed space where you can enjoy a king size bed to use for your stay. A couch, table and chairs and a dresser are in your private studio space over 800sq ft.
The first level is an outdoor covered eating area with bluestone floors. A vintage sink can be used to get potable water and make your morning coffee with our French press or Kuerig. There is also a hot plate available in this area. Discuss with us the use of our fire pit for outdoor cooking (wood costs) and you can be assigned an outdoor pit.
Expect spiders and bugs of various flying and crawling types please ... this is as close to outdoor living as it gets.

We do not provide heat or air conditioning so please check the weather and plan your comfort for your stay! There are ceiling fans. You may want to bring warm sleeping bags to use on top of our bed. Beds will have sheets/pillows/ and a light blanket. Bring your own towels and shampoo etc for going in the creek.
You have a private full bathroom in the cabin with a toilet and sink…and a clawfoot tub with a handheld shower in the cabins open living space.

The Owls Nest Cabin is ~ 2 hours from NYC yet just minutes to popular cities like Hudson/Catskill. An original Summer Kitchen circa 1840, it's been restored into a private 1 Bed/1Bath cabin with a claw foot tub, vintage kitchen, wood/brick walls, Vermont Castings gas fireplace, antiques & charm!
Note: several historic barns share the land, situated on country road adjacent to historic registered farmhouse. Quintessential Hudson Valley.

The space
Wood and brick walls, along with all the vintage furniture add to the cozy feel. Easily turn on the Vermont Casting fireplace and you may be more in for a night of hanging out with a good book or magazine! A starter set of shampoo, conditioner and soap plush bath towels complete the feeling of luxury as you enjoy soaking in our vintage clawfoot tub or hop into the new hot tub to do a little stargazing outside. When you are ready for bed it's a good nights rest on a firm memory foam mattress. We'll supply some spices basics in our kitchen, the Tops grocery store is just 1 mile away and Black Horse Farm is a specialty farmers market just south on 9w.
Find our walking trails along Climax Creek, two separate cold plunge swimming holes and the option to hire an outdoor wood fired traditional Finnish sauna parked conveniently by either of the cold plunge swimming holes. Maybe venture out for shopping at the Coxsackie Antiques Center.

Guests can enjoy the grounds, walk our trails along the creek and explore. Parking is for the cabin is immediately in front of the cabin on the crushed bluestone driveway. In the back barnyard we have a lovely pavilion area which guests of all our Air BnB adjoining properties can enjoy, with seating and vintage furniture.

Other things to note
There is a 'mini kitchen' in this cabin and not a full size oven. You are provided a medium sized toaster convection oven (cooks a small chicken!), a 2 burner hot plate, a griddle plate, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, fondue pot (bring the cheese and wine!), vintage fridge with small freezer. It's everything you need for a weekend's or week's stay...

That said we do expect house trained animals and that you would not use our towels or blankets to wipe down your pet after walks etc. Also bring a coverlet / towel / blanket from home if it’s your pets custom to sleep on furniture or on the bed as there will be added cleaning fees if deep cleaning is required;-) you’ll be notified by a post stay $ request.

Our love and understanding of the importance of bringing along our pets is important to maintain but has caused some issues so we do like the terms to be disclosed.

This is a true rustic barn conversion and therefore the cabin, being in the country on a farm, may have boxelder beetles stinkbugs, ladybugs, ants and bees seasonally-the Hudson Valley is pretty infamous for them BUT we do a good job of keeping them at bay with natural pest control options;-) If you have a strong fear please consider this prior to booking, while we do vacuum we cannot guarantee you will not see them during your stay. A handheld vacuum is supplied should you want to vac ones that may pop up!

It is the perfect getaway location for a couple looking to escape. A great combination of French country chic and vintage furnishings that give this getaway spot a comfortable and cozy feel. Our cast iron Jotul gas fireplace provides both warmth and ambiance as you enjoy spending time in our open concept great room.
You can plan to ‘work from home’ with strong WiFi, cook some great meals in our renovated chefs kitchen or simple dine out at the fantastic restaurants in town or nearby Catskill, Athens, and Hudson.

A hiking trail on the property offers spectacular Hudson River views and views of the Castelton-on-Hudson bridge and train trestle. Just 20 min from downtown Albany, 20-25min to Columbia County, and 35min to Catskill, make Sheep River Farmhouse your home base to explore the best of the Hudson Valley.

The space
Sheep River Farmhouse is located on 20 acres in the woods on the Hudson River just south of the Castleton-on-Hudson bridge. Enjoy a nature escape with close proximity to the best the Hudson Valley has to offer.

The ground floor has a large living room with an extra deep sofa from Restoration Hardware and 2 very comfy armchairs. The tv is a smart tv.

The expansive kitchen has everything you need - from a Breville espresso maker, induction stove with built-in air fryer, brand new Samsung 4 door fridge/freezer, rice cooker and more.

There is a large living area next to the kitchen that holds a breakfast nook with a dining table that seats 6. In addition, there are two oversized swivel armchairs and a sensory swing (why not?!). The area next to the fireplace holds another small laptop nook. Please note: the two fireplaces are not in working condition.

Whether you're cooking or ordering in, enjoy a candlelit dinner in the formal dining room that seats up to 8 people.

The primary bedroom is very spacious with a queen bed and sitting nook with a recliner. There are 4 large windows overlooking the Hudson River. During the winter months the river is visible. There is an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub, rainshower head and handheld. The Toto toilet offers heated seating, auto open and close, and an integrated bidet. The bathroom floor are also heated with a digital control.

The second bedroom with queen bed also has 2 large windows overlooking the Hudson River and another large window facing north into the woodlands. If you're lucky you'll see deer or a fox.

The third bedroom has two x-long twin floor beds on very low platforms so both kids and adults alike can enjoy a comfy night sleep. There is a sensory swing, small swinging rings and a small climbing ladder for children to explore. Jungle wall murals bring the unique room to life. There is a very narrow staircase leading down to the kitchen that has been sectioned off with commercial grade netting designed to hold up to 300lbs. It makes the perfect little reading nook for children.

The second floor also has a private office/man cave. The desk has a large screen that you can connect to with your laptop. There is also a couch and armchair with a smart tv.

The yard has several swings, walking trails and beautiful views of the Hudson River. In the summer, enjoy a relaxing time in the heated, 50ft pool with loungers, a dining table. The pool house is equipped with a mini fridge, table and chairs and workout equipment. The pool is generally open from early May - late September but please contact us for specific dates. 2025 POOL OPENING DATE: JUNE 2.
