The space:
Your space is a beautiful finished loft above the detached garage. The loft is fully finished with central heat and air conditioner. With a separate entrance and coded entry for your access. The loft space is detached from the main house that will be listed on VRBO soon! The loft space has a bedroom with queen bed, behind the queen bed (like a little cubby area) there is a slanted wall with a full size floor mattress. There is a smaller room (with the world decal) it has a trundle twin bed (2 twin mattresses) also have a pack-n-play for small children. Sheets and pillows are all provided. Very comfortable for 4 guests.
Sorry there are no personal boats allowed at this location.

Come and Relax at the outdoor Tiki Bar (Year round use of the grill) outdoor area is complete with year round fireplace and gas heater. Relax in the Summer months on the sandy beach.!
In the winter if the lake is frozen you can clear an area for ice skating. (pack your ice skates! ) There is a sledding hill so bring your own sled if interested. The only shared space is when your outside but there’s plenty of space to just be yourself.

The fall and winter months are wonderful in the loft. Decorated for the seasons, you will enjoy the loft, with a wall fireplace to relax by and set to your liking. A 70” TV provide a theatre like experience in the cozy loft. Popcorn machine is for your use & includes a popcorn packet. Packet provided makes two batch’s of popcorn. Please do not dump all in at once.

Guest Hot Tub is private for guests use only, available for YEAR ROUND use. (No Children under age 16) Hot Tub hours 10am-11pm (please no smoking while in the hot tub) (no glass containers allowed) we have cups to use in the hot tub.

Sauna use is an extra fee ($35) because of the higher cost to run. The Heath benefits it gives is worth the little extra to use.

A private bathroom and bedroom. The space also has a small kitchenette which includes a fridge with freezer, microwave, hot plate, convection toaster oven, Ninja Foodi Grill, and coffee maker (Keurig) complete with coffee selections and creamer. There is a hot tub available for year round use, and a sandy beach with chairs and an outdoor lounger. NO EXTRA CHARGES to use the Floats, 4 kayaks, and a 4 person paddle boat all available for your use in season. Paddle Boards 2 qty.

Outdoor fire pit overlooking the lake and outdoor fireplace by the tiki bar, you can bring your own wood or use ours (3 starter logs included with your stay) Fires MUST be attended to at ALL times. If your not directly by it please put the fire out.

Our ideal guests will be respectful that we have opened up our space to welcome them and will treat our grounds and space the same way we do. Don’t leave your garbage and messes for us to clean up. We expect a guest to not be like a typical hotel guest. Guests are in charge of piling all used linens in the living room prior to check out, and wash any dishes used. Please be responsible, and keep your noise level down after 11pm. Keep your messes picked up after making them. You’ve come to relax and experience the lake life. Most importantly enjoy your time here and RELAX! No parties allowed.
We have 4 outdoor chairs on the beach and a comfy outdoor lounger to relax on. Included with your stay you can use 5 kayaks, (1 Purple 2 Dark Blue 2 Lime Green& 1 Blue smaller child size, there is a 4 person paddle boat as well with a swim ladder for a nice day on the lake! There are also two stand up paddle boards, floats and sand toys all included to use with your stay! Outdoor heater and fireplace are for your use as well.
During the winter months we can have an Ice Skating area cleared on the lake if you ask. You will need to have your own Ice Skates) a sledding hill to the lake. So bring your sled.

There is a seasonal Ice Cream Spot called Charlie’s with a full menu of burgers, fries and many sweet treats, live music and dancing on Wednesday’s. Dollar General is close around the corner for many items you may need. There is a public frisbee golf, playground and picnic center very close by. Across from the Family Dollar there is a kick ball type Game Center that serves beer, wine, and outdoor seating. There are several golf courses nearby, and some cute downtown shopping areas. We loved the beach, kayaks/paddle boat/paddle boards/swim raft, gas fire pit area, tiki bar, and hot tub, and the floaties and life jackets that we could use. Appreciated the ice maker! The sleeping nook behind the master bed is so nice that our teenage kids all wanted that spot. Comfortable beds. Suggestions would be to add instructions for the neat shower, coffee pods for the keurig (love the chai/cocoa/cider though), curtain/blinds for the bedroom window, smaller faucet for the sink, foot bath for getting in the hot tub, dusting of cobwebs outside, and let guests of other house know if we have a designated area of the beach. Updated, Crisp, Sharp. This lake house in the town of Sand Lake, Michigan has been recently updated and possesses many modern touches. When you arrive, you will likely be surprised at how this unassuming home captures the heart and soul of your lakefront experience. Lying in the hammock overlooking the lake is an ideal way to soak in the afternoon. Water toys and a small sandy beach area await your fun-filled get-away experience.

This home is unique in that you enter the home at the main level (bedrooms) and descend into the living space below. The kitchen and living room are both on the lower level. The wooden staircase descending to the lower level is longer than average. (Please use caution with little ones or family with mobility challenges.) All the bedrooms are on the main/entry level. Each of the five (5) bedrooms are decorated to allow you to relax in comfort. Year-round, the fireplace (gas-insert) pulls your group together in the living space. It's idyllic to have a fire burning while looking over the lake when either the snow falls, or the kids are playing on the beach. Each season shines in its own right. Conveniences put the icing on a great experience. Having a separate workspace when traveling with family, or a washer/dryer is tucked in an ideal space are appreciated by many.

The outside deck faces Maston Lake. There are 2 ways to easily descend to the yard/beach area. From the deck, there are only three (3) steps, yet there also is a longer staircase between the garage and the home. Another bonus is that the yard facing the lake has ample space for basic yard games.Plus, grilling overlooking the Maston Lake can't be underrated. While neighbors are within sight, there is comfortable spacing between the lake homes.

Water toys are available for guest use, so fun is always around the corner at the Maston Lake House. It's always a great time of year to visit!

Welcome to The Crystal Lake Cabin located in Crystal, Michigan only an hour away from Lansing and Grand Rapids. Our family-friendly place is a charming, cozy, rustic A-frame style, one bath cabin at the end of the quiet dirt drive. Take a five minute walk and have a picnic at our private dock or the beautiful Crystal Lake public beach during the day and end your evening by grilling dinner on the deck and a bonfire at night. Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place.
The space
The Crystal Lake Cabin is a six person knotty-pine cabin with one main bedroom which has a queen-sized bed and four twin beds on the loft. It is located near the 724 acre all sports Crystal Lake in Montcalm County; one of the few lakes in mid-Michigan with crystal clear water and sandy bottom and many sand bars in the middle of the lake for shallow swimming. We have our own private lake access with a dock that is about a five minute walk from the cabin. If there is a day that you don’t want to be at the public beach, you can spend it at the dock with picnic lunch where it is a little more quiet. There are chairs available at the dock for your use as well as kayaks. Please do not sit in either boat that is anchored at the dock. Feel free to use the kayaks, but you MUST have life jackets on your person when using them. It is the law and for your safety. We have two adult life jackets at the cabin available for your use. Please return them to the cabin when you are done. You also might want to kayak earlier in the morning and on the edge of the lake when it isn’t as busy compared to the day.

If you bring a boat there is a public boat launch for you to use. Once in the water, you can anchor your boat near our dock you just need to bring it out of the water in the evening. Our driveway has plenty of space for two cars and a boat and trailer.

Enjoy grilling and eating out on the deck for your meals on those warm, sunny days! We have both a gas and charcoal grill for your use. There is also a fire pit, picnic table and chairs in the large side yard and a hammock in the front yard.

The inside of the cabin is cozy and compact and has everything you need to enjoy your stay! The kitchen is well-stocked and so is the bathroom. We have extra beach towels and bag for your use if you need them. There are a variety of small appliances that are always convenient to have in the kitchen. Coffee, tea and cocoa are provided!

Hang out on the giant, comfy couch for a family movie night with a tub of popcorn. We have family games, a Smart TV and access to Netflix and family friendly DVD’s if you are up for an old school movie night. The bathroom is rustic but clean with lots of storage and extra bath towels and amenities.

The main bedroom contains a comfortable queen-sized bed, a dresser, washer and dryer in the closet. There is also a window air conditioner for your use. The loft has four beds and a dresser. Please keep in mind that the loft stairs are steep so consider sleeping arrangements if you are bringing little ones under three years old or someone who might have difficulty climbing a ladder to get to the loft.

Crystal has lots to offer in the summer in addition to the beach! There is a local skating rink, an old theater downtown, as well as Crystal Motor Speedway. There is also B&C Golf Cart rental if you’d like to rent a golf cart for the day! Anderson & Girls Orchard is just a short drive if you’d like visit some farm animals with your little ones. Two favorite places to eat are Oliver’s Pizza and Ike’s Ice cream if you want to eat out one night. Blanchards grocery store and Family Dollar and Dollar General should have everything you need for your stay. If you’d like a larger grocery store, Meijer is only 25 minutes away in Greenville.

Please have fun, but no parties at the cabin. This is a family-friendly lake and neighborhood.

The Birch Bark Bungalow is located in Six Lakes, Michigan and is the perfect relaxation destination. It located directly on Indian Head Lake which is a private lake and less than a half mile to the public access of Lake Montcalm which is a public lake. There is great fishing on our lake and several areas of state land close by for hunting, snowmobiling, skiing and several other outdoor activities. The home also has a vacant lot on both sides so that you can also have some privacy. Sit at the table or out on the deck and watch the amazing wildlife on the lake. The basement is not fully finished but is a great area to hang out and play games. For those they still need to stay connected, we have wireless internet and a smart TV that hangs above the electric fireplace. This makes a great getaway for those who want to work remotely. All the convenience of home without all of the stress.
