Welcome to 'TIPS UP' condo! You can't help but feel right at home in this beautifully renovated 2BR/2BA SKI-OUT townhouse located in the Shamrock community. Our privately owned unit is completely updated and is considered a GOLD-rated unit by Snowshoe. Our back door is just 15 yards from the new Shamrock ski trail (complete with snowmaking capability) - a true ski-out unit! Ski out and enjoy a day on the slopes, and then come back in the evening to relax in front of a warm fire and enjoy a home-cooked meal in our fully stocked kitchen (or head out to enjoy a bit of the Snowshoe nightlife!). If you choose to rent our unit, we promise you a CLEAN and comfortable piece of WV heaven.

Our unit is a 2-story 2BR/2BA, with private entrance and private parking right in front of the unit. We just completed a complete renovation of the master bedroom and bath in fall 2017! The bedroom was expanded to accommodate a new king size bed (with brand new high quality cushion firm mattress - a little piece of heaven after a long day on the slopes!), and complete bathroom remodel including new tile surround tub and large custom quartz vanity. The downstairs level has also been completely remodeled and now features a completely updated (and stocked!) kitchen with quartz countertops, eating area, living room with a beautiful new Ashley leather sofa, 42' flat screen tv, and a beautiful new wood-burning fireplace. The heated mudroom (also completely renovated) is the perfect place to take off and store all of your ski gear after a day on the slopes. Off of the kitchen on the lower level is a full bath, washer/dryer, and a bedroom with a new QUEEN SIZE BED with pull-out TWIN TRUNDLE (perfect for children!). The upstairs level of the unit has one bedroom with a KING SIZE BED, large closet, and one full bath. Linens and towels are all provided free of charge!

IF you want to stay connected, there is high speed cable modem with wireless internet access and a landline phone with free unlimited long distance calling provided for our guests!

The Shamrock complex itself just finished a complete exterior renovation project, including new mudrooms, roofing and siding. The new mudrooms are a perfect place to securely store all your outside gear (skis, boots, bikes, etc), opening up a lot of space inside the condo itself. In short, the place looks great! The Shamrock complex is located just on the other side of Wistlepunk, and is just a very short walk to the village (5 min) but at the same time allows you to truly enjoy the quiet solitude of the mountains. Deer gather regularly outside the back deck and love to snack on everything from corn to Fritos! All of this with ski-out access too!

The owners are great to work with and very responsive, even allowing us to extend our stay an extra night to take advantage of the “rare” new snow moving in. Snow conditions weren’t great this year but we were still able to take advantage of the ski-out option and walk the Shamrock Trail down to find the snow. At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find an activity to keep all your family members happy.

Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and 5 terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, try out other activities such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, Polaris RZR tours, snowmobile tours, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and the Snowshoe spa, to name a few.

Summer – Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails at your disposal. Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, relaxing by Shavers Lake, etc.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Shamrock 21A is a ski-out property since there’s a skiable access point leading from the building complex down to Powderidge run. Once you come back up on the Powderidge lift, you walk back to the Shamrock complex which is about 500 feet.

Please be courteous and considerate of the other guests and abide by the quiet hours from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM.

Party away on the mountain or at a local restaurant. But, please, no parties in the property.

Bikes are allowed on the property but only in the mudroom.

The Seneca building is centrally located in the Snowshoe village and just steps from the ski slopes. The building is directly across from the ski school, so great proximity for families. The village offers dining and shopping year round, meaning this location feels like city living as you can walk to everything you need once parking your car in the private underground parking area beneath the building (the only building in the village that offers this for free, included with your stay).

At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find an activity to keep all your family members happy.

- Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and 5 terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, try out other activities such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, Polaris RZR tours, snowmobile tours, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and the Snowshoe spa, to name a few.

Shamrock is an amazing little development with their own slope access just off the back of the community (weather permitting). The community has a pavilion, tennis/pickleball courts, grill, firepit and playground for kids! Very close to the village and western territory as well. Free shuttle service will pick you up near the entrance as well to take you where you need to go.
This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit has recently gone through a complete renovation completed fall of 2024 (updated pictures coming soon). Upstairs you'll find a king bedroom with an adjoining bath. Bathroom is complete with a custom tile shower and custom concrete vanity.
Downstairs you'll find the kitchen completely renovated in 2024 with an adjoining living room. The pull out sleeper sofa is a custom West Elm sofa with a gel memory foam mattress. The living room has hanging bike storage for the summer time and a pot belly wood burning fireplace for the winter (free firewood provided in the dumpster shed near the entrance to the complex.
The second bedroom is located just off the kitchen with an adjoining custom bathroom, vaulted ceilings, accent lighting and an electric fireplace. This room is very cozy and our favorite!

Mountain Lodge 358 offers the best views in Snowshoe, with the convenience of being just steps away from the village. You can take advantage of resort activities and amenities while still enjoying peaceful mornings, drinking coffee on the deck that overlooks Shaver's Lake.

Mountain Lodge is the perfect location for summer mountain biking. It offers an on-site bike storage facility, as well as bike cleaning and repair stations. You will be just steps away from miles of incredible trails.

The space
PLEASE READ:
Mountain Lodge is currently undergoing an interior renovation in the common spaces. In a few short months (expected completion in November), the lodge will be completely transformed, but we are currently dealing with construction.

Our condo is unaffected and ready for rental. While you can still expect a great stay, you should know that you may encounter some construction in the common areas.

Heavy demolition is complete, but they are still working on replacing flooring, wall coverings, and finishes. There are recent photos in the listing that can give you an idea of what to expect. You may encounter:
-Ongoing construction work (during traditional work hours)
-Bare Subfloors
-Unfinished areas
-Dust
-Limited amenities (the ice rink and jungle gym are unavailable)
But our condo is ready for you.
By ski season, you can expect a new and improved Mountain Lodge experience.

Welcome to The Rabbit Hole at Camp 4. This quiet and rustic Condo has 2 private entry's and is equipped with wi-fi, keyless entry lock, and landline phone. The location allows for ski in/out access, but please note that this might not be available at the beginning and end of the ski season. This condo includes one bedroom, a living room with one pull out queen couch and one bathroom. Washer/ Dryer unit is inside the unit. We would be delighted to host you for your next Snowshoe visit.

Located in the Village of Snowshoe Resort, this cozy space is a mere walk to the bike trails, slopes, shops, and restaurants. This modern studio apartment is nestled in a beautiful lodge directly above the Starbucks. Nearby points of interest include Cass, (a quaint railroad town), Greenbank Observatory, Marlinton, Seneca Rocks, and numerous hiking spots, parks, and national forests.

The space
Amenities include free parking or paid preferred parking in the garage beneath the lodge, storage for mountain bikes, skis, and snowboards, as well as gym equipment, sauna, a quaint common area, and access to two hot tubs! Our room is located directly above a Starbucks and is within walking distance of the ski slopes, restaurants, and shops. We have fun year round: enjoy mountain biking in the summer or skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Wi-Fi is included, along with sheets, towels, and toiletries.

Welcome to The Vertical Lift Condo! Relax in the hot tub or cozy up by the fireplace after a fun day on the mountain! Facing West, the condo balcony has the best unobstructed sunset views at Snowshoe. Located in the heart of Snowshoe Village, you will be less than a 1 minute walk to the lifts, Starbucks, and all the restaurants and shops that Snowshoe has to offer. Enjoy access to building amenities: hot tub, sauna, gym, ski locker, bike storage, and paid garage parking.

The space
At Rimfire, you are in the center of all the action--whether you like to mountain bike, ski/snowboard, or grab dinner in town--this condo provides you with the best access on the mountain, as you can walk to everything Snowshoe has to offer in minutes.

One of only a few Rimfire units with vaulted ceilings, this updated condo has a new sectional sleeper sofa, with a memory foam mattress, and a new memory foam mattress in the bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped if you would like to cook your own meals. The kitchen also has new stainless-steel appliances and a breakfast bar eating area.

-mixing bowls
-glass baking dish and various metal baking pans
-cutting boards
-plates, bowls, flatware, glasses, and mugs

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire condo except for the owner's closet and the HVAC closet. If either one is opened, forcibly or otherwise, a minimum of $200 charge will be assessed, and you will be charged for all missing items.

Guests have access to all of the Rimfire Lodge amenities (hot tubs, sauna, gym, laundry, etc.).

Guests also have paid access to Split Rocks Pool near Allegheny Springs.

Other things to note
Snowshoe is 8.9 miles from Green Bank, WV which is a designated "quiet zone" due to the Green Bank Observatory. Although cell phone service is very limited all over the mountain, Rimfire Lodge recently updated its Wifi coverage and now offers some of the best Wifi on the Mountain, in case you have to WFH.

The Village of Snowshoe has several restaurants and shops along with Split Rocks Pool and a spa. Restaurants include: Fox Fire Grill, Starbucks, Cheat Mountain Pizza, Sunset Cantina, The Junction, and Old Spruce. Wildcat Provisions, a small convenience store, and another convenience store at the bottom of the mountain sells a range of everyday items. Walmart is the nearest supermarket, located in Lewisburg, WV. There is a new grocery delivery service that will deliver Walmart orders for $25. Search snowshoe delivery service for more information.

Extra charges:
$20/day for each extra person will be charged if more people than stated on the initial booking are in the condo
$200 extra cleaning fee if the condo is left dirty (excessive trash or food left, guest check out instructions are not completed, etc.)
$25/15 minute increment late check out fee if any guests remains in the condo after designated check out time, but this does not constitute possession of the condo for the day. Any possessions left in the condo for more than 1 hour after the check out time will be taken to Snowshoe security.
$200/day of reservation smoking fee if anyone smokes in the condo.
$200/day of reservation per pet if a pet is brought into the condo.

The space
All new LVT flooring, drapes, plugs, couch, built-in 65 inch smart TV, built-in 5 foot electric color changing fireplace and built-in soundbar. New Island with seating for 5. All new appliances, which includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, sink and conduction stovetop with stove. New lighting. We also have upgraded the Wireless Internet to Eero Pro. The guest bedroom has a smart TV. The guest bathroom has a 2 in 1 washer/dryer, which from my understanding is extremely rare in Expedition.

Guest access
Go to Allegheny Springs front desk. They will issue you a keycard to get into the building (and the condo).
