They were both so friendly and we felt instantly welcome. They took the time and made us a poster for our anniversary congratulating us. That was such a special treat. Welcome to your home away from home! This is a lovely 3bdr, 2 bath country style home with a splash of modernity that is located within short distance to downtown historic Sutter Creek. The fully furnished living spaces are open and inviting and is great for entertainment or relaxation. Enjoy the green pasture from the living and dining room or relax by the pool while taking in the fresh country air. The sunsets are spectacular in the evenings.

The kitchen was recently renovated and new hardwood floor was installed throughout the house. The decor and furniture reflects our vision of incorporating new and refurbished materials to create a country living feel. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and private bathroom. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and the third has two twin beds. There are additional air mattresses to accommodate additional guests.

Guest will have access to the entire house, including the pool, except for the garage. We welcome all guests to stay at our place, including family with young children, however, the pool is not gated so we asked that parents exercise great caution and watchful of their children around the pool. We want to make our guests' stay safe and welcoming for all. For guests who loves to cook, our kitchen is fully stocked. Make yourself a home and feel free to use the use the spices, oil, cooking utensil, etc. You're also welcomed to use the grill and we only ask that you to clean up the grill after each usage.

The house is located in a quiet and serene neighborhood.

Public transportation is limited in Sutter Creek. We recommend renting a car so that you can fully explore the beautiful lakes, rivers, hiking trails, and hidden gems at the foot of the Sierra Foothill or take a day trip to the beautiful Lake Tahoe (about 1.5 hours away) or explore the bountiful wineries in Amador or San Jaoquin valleys. If you're staying on the weekend, check out Jackson Rancheria Casino for their famous seafood buffet. Don't forget to check out Gold Dust Pizza in downtown Sutter Creek. The restaurant has excellent pizza and chicken wings. It is an excellent place to have beer, wine, and pizza all year-round. The backyard is a great place to hang out during the summer and fall because it's located right next to the creek. Don't forget to check out the handful of wine tasting room

We don't have lot of do's or don't do's. We simply asks our guest to respect our place and treat their home away from home as if it's their own home. Please take great care of the place by not leaving hot cups, plates, etc. on the table without a coaster. We don't ask for security deposit because we trust that our guests will be responsible. Also, please be respectful to our neighbors by not having loud music or conversations after 10 pm. Due to our City Lic. we are not allowed to have guest park in the street, or in front of other homes. Only in the driveway. Only two cars allowed per reservations. Please note: That if more cars other then two is reported the city will revoke our city lic. Please respect the rule. The City of Sutter Creek also imposes a 10% hospitality tax. For our guest's convenience, washer and dryer are available for stays of 4 days or more. (please bring your laundry detergent)

Beautiful renovated home with a good balance of indoor/outdoor living. This 5 acre property includes an amazing hot tub deck with views of the canyon. Enjoy hikes around the land and to the creek.Spacious and private retreat in an ideal location.

Our open plan living area is great for entertaining and the kitchen has concrete counter tops and plenty of room. We have used it before as a yoga retreat as it is a beautiful and secluded place. Outdoor dining in the summer on the deck or just laying in the hammock as the sun goes down. Our 3 bedroom home has 1 king bed, 1 queen, 2 double beds. Also available is a double futon and 2 double air beds. There is a bathroom downstairs and a bathroom upstairs in the queen bedroom

Guests will have access to the full 3 bedroom home with spacious entertaining open plan kitchen and living room. We have a beautiful covered deck with plenty of lounge area's and a separate hot tub deck on the hillside. There are trails around the 5 acre property that include creek access.

Our home's location allows you to experience the best Gold Country has to offer. Local activities include exceptional wineries, fine dining and Black Chasm caves. It is a great area for road biking and Silverlake and Kirkwood Ski Resort are an hour away. Jackson Rancheria Casino is a 15 minute drive away.

For security I have a Ring system with a camera at the front door and on the garage.

- "Well this is a well kept secret... I hesitate to go over board, altho I could, about this place because I don't want it to be too booked when I want to go again.lol. Charlotte the property manage is over the top kind, professional, communicative, and wecoming. My husband and I celebrated our 49th anniversary here and we were not disappointed. The pool is truely magnificient. There was plenty of quiet and alone time and then there was some social time with Robin and Joe,residents that live there on the property full time. Lovely people. The view from the pool is a of vast rolling hills and a valley where they meet. The infinity pool washes over the wall when the water fall is on. Lots of great sun exposure, which we like but plenty of shade too if thats your preference. The fire table would be great in the fall or winter but it was a bit too hot for that when we were there. The apartment was immaculate and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The view from the kitchen window is , again, a lovely display of rolling hills and quiet beauty. Since our vacation home is situated on 20 acres of land, it requires a good deal of maintenance and a team of workers to keep it up. You'll probably get to meet some of our amazing team during your stay. Our pool guy comes once a week to keep the pool clean and well maintained (he usually comes very early between 8-9am), our gardener also comes weekly to make sure the grounds are well kept and does some planting and trimming. Our cleaning team, handyman and our house manager take care of trash and repairs, and deal with any issue that may arise. They will be available to you if you need anything, but will stay out of your way otherwise. The entire house and pool area (excluding the garage) is all yours and you can enjoy it as you please.
However, you will be notified if they ever need to go inside to fix something. Your comfort and privacy is of the utmost importance to us and we are committed to making sure we communicate and coordinate with you prior.

- "We rented the house for 3 nights for my family’s annual summer staycation. The house was perfect for us, as there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us. It was clean and well equipped, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The highlight was the pool with the water slide and waterfalls. With the water running, it felt like we were at a tropical destination. The control to the water slide was unfortunately not accessible, so we had to message the owners every time the water automatically turned off, which was every couple of hours. However, the upside is that the owners were also very responsive. We also enjoyed hanging out around the firepit at night. We will definitely be back again if the timing lines up next summer."

Welcome to our home, located in beautiful Amador County gold country! We have a charming 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom house that was once an original gold mining cabin, walking distance to the well-preserved historic downtown. We also have a detached outbuilding that serves as an office and has a 1/2 bath accessible from the pool area. The fully furnished indoor and outdoor living spaces are perfect for entertainment or relaxation. Enjoy the large recently remodeled backyard complete with swimming pool, as well as the highest speed internet available to easily handle your virtual and distance learning requirements. Between bookings, the home will be thoroughly cleaned to protect our guests from COVID-19.

The space:
Enjoy cooking on the 5 burner gas stove or grilling outside. The living room features a 70” LCD flat screen with Bose surround sound and reclining sofa, perfect for movie night. Note: there is no active "TV" service, but you can Chromecast anything from your devices (directions are in the house binder) . The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a full sized bed and en-suite bathroom. The front porch is enclosed and contains a convertible couch for additional recreational space. The washer and dryer are located in the basement and will be accessible for your convenience.
For guests who love to cook, our kitchen is fully stocked, with anything you might need to make a fantastic meal. Make yourself at home and feel free to use the spices, oils, condiments, etc. If you use a little, no problem. If you use a lot or it’s running low, please replace it.
There is also an outdoor grill for your use, we only ask that you leave it clean and with propane for the next guest to enjoy.

A keypad deadbolt is installed on the door of the side porch, the code will be provided shortly before your arrival. Once inside, you will find the keys and a binder outlining everything you need to know about the house, how to make things work, and nearby attractions, including 11 wine tasting rooms and a draft house just a short walk away.

Other things to note:
We will be on a family RV adventure and would prefer to have one long term booking for the duration of our trip to reduce turnover. We will provide a 30% discount for stays of at least 31 days, 40% off for 60 days or more. Our dates are flexible, so we can coordinate what works best for you. Feel free to message me.
The City of Sutter Creek requires homeowners to collect a 10% "transient occupancy tax" for all stays 30 days or less.

Keep in mind, this is not a vacation rental property, it is our home. We don't have a lot of rules, we simply ask that our guests respect our home and treat it as if it's their own. Please take great care by using coasters, hotpads, cleaning up spills promptly, and covering the outdoor furniture when not in use. Also, please be respectful to our neighbors by keeping the noise down after 10 pm.

The space
The guest bedroom has an adjacent sitting room that is private and has a small Keurig-type coffee service, microwave, and small frig...plus a piano that you are welcome to play! Your room has a 42-inch TV with Netflix, Amazon Video, and Apple tv. There is a sliding door that divides it from the rest of the house. See pics.

There is a 2 zone HVAC system that enables you to control the temperature in your space.

Once you arrive, there is no need to get in your car until you leave! Great places to walk, whether it is for exercise, dinner, coffee, shopping, wine tasting, or entertainment. You will find a very active little theater on Main Street and lots of California gold mining history everywhere you look.

I am in and out on most days and easily reachable if not home. I'm an early riser, usually working from home until late morning. This is a small community and I have lived in my house for 30 years with mostly the same neighbors. Everyone is friendly, and helpful, and enjoys sharing their knowledge and love of the area, as I do.

A beautiful home in Sutter Creek. This in law unit is located five minutes from downtown and set on seven acres. You are just minutes from wineries, rivers, hiking and more. The home has amazing sunsets and the views are fantastic. There is a double swing that overlooks the views. Great spot for a couples get away. A large private bedroom upstairs, with a dining area, kitchenette and full bathroom downstairs. Private entrance and plenty of parking for multiple vehicles and your RV.

Guest access
There are two gates. Enter at the second gate. You will be provided with a gate opener and can park anywhere you'd like. The walkway to the left of the garage will take you to the entrance which is the first glass door.

Sutter Creek has many vineyards and wineries available to get out and enjoy the outdoors while also wetting your palette. Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort is about fifteen minutes away from the home. The Knight Foundry- America’s last water-powered foundry and machine shop. Established in 1873 by Samuel Knight, includes the unique historic equipment and machinery, still in place in its original context, just as it was during its Gold Rush-era heyday. The black chasm caverns- are naturally cool caves. This National Natural Landmark offers a children friendly 50-minute Walk Tour, letting you see varied rock formations, including; stalactites, stalagmites, flowstones, and rare delicate helictite crystals. Comanche Reservoir, Lake Amador, Pardee Reservoir, New Hogan Lake are all very close by for fishing, watersports or just relaxing. Kirkwood Mountain resort is 50 miles away for outdoor activities and Pipi Campground is close by for off-roading and dirt bike fun.

The Shopkeeper’s Cottage has been fully remodeled and exquisitely curated to pay homage to the grand lady herself as well as others who came before her.

It’s refined and elegantly designed French Country style will wrap you in comfort and luxury while being steeped in the history and charm of another era.

You will be welcomed in to your own private foyer, between the two shop storefronts where you will be met with beautiful 20th century artwork of French countryside landscapes as you make your way down the hallway.

Upon entering the Cottage, you will instantly notice the 12ft ceilings and a gallery of 19th century original artwork of Parisian landmarks which hung in the Ritz, Paris until 2018, a venue also known as the home of another acclaimed shopkeeper, Coco Chanel.

Upon entering the European style, eat in farmhouse kitchen, this is where French Country is taken to a new level. With dining for 8-10 people, feel free to host a dinner party with a meal prepared in your chefs kitchen with Italian and copper cookware to prepare your meals. Enjoy multiple coffee bar options with either Nespresso, Keurig and French press options as well.

When it’s time to relax and unwind, you can retreat to your master suite with en-suite master bath, complete with stand up shower and jacuzzi soaking tub. Be sure to dim the chandeliers while soaking in your spa tub.

All of the things our shopkeeper embraced and adored. The memory foam and gel pad mattress will surely help you to drift off to sleep in the 1250 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets while you watch a movie on your private tv.

The guest suite also offers its own en-suite bathroom as well, complete with stand up shower, faux-fireplace with heater insert for those chilly nights and 1250 thread count sheets with Restoration Hardware bedding. Feel free to watch a movie with your private tv as well as read a book from the library of literary classics or bestsellers in your down filled reading chair.

Invite friends to play a classic board game or puzzle in your separate game parlor.

If you would like to dine Al fresco, your private veranda awaits with dining table and sofa seating for 6.

Should you wish for more space or have a group gathering, the downstairs stone cellar is the perfect space to add when available.

Accessible to the Shopkeeper’s Cottage via the veranda stairway, you will have access to your own private stone and timber cellar with living area, kitchen, full bathroom , queen bedroom and pull out Murphy bed to sleep 4 additional guests.

Once known in the 70’s as the first wine tasting cellar in Amador County, it is also home to one of the oldest, if not the oldest producing Zinfandel grape vine in all of California at just over 150 years old.

The cellar, known as Vintage 1857 Stone Cellar can be booked additionally when available so please feel free to enquire about availability by the name “Vintage 1857 Cellar”. This handhewn timber and stone space will transport you back to another era for sure!

You can also enjoy easy day trips to Plymouth for wine tasting, gold rush towns, test your luck at Jackson Rancheria, or head up the hill to Kirkwood for skiing.

The space
The front yard is full enclosed so it is a great area for dogs of all sizes. If you're not enjoying the outdoor spaces you can check out the game closet that has a variety of games you can play on the large dining room table. Or you can sit by the fireplace in the cozy living room with a glass of wine.
There are nice areas to sit in the front and backyards and the creek runs along our backyard.
There is plenty of parking in front and the side of the house. There is an outlet outside if you want to plug in your vehicle overnight.

Our comfortable home is located in a quiet neighborhood less than a mile from the charming historic Sutter Creek downtown. Shenandoah Valley is a quick 15 minute drive with 40 wineries to explore and enjoy. With a private pool and views of rolling hills, you'll find it easy to unwind here. The house is designed for people who are looking for a getaway who will respect our property and neighbors.

The space
When updating the space, we paid careful attention to creating an environment that feels like home. Upstairs, you’ll find a master suite with a bonus room, which can be used as an office or a nursery/playroom (with its own little teepee!). Downstairs, there are two nicely sized rooms (one with a large desk) and a full bathroom. You’ll love sleeping on the amazing Tuft & Needle mattresses and luxe sheets, and will appreciate the fast Wifi if you have to work remotely. In all, the home is spacious, with 1800 sq. ft. of indoor living space. For guests who love to cook, our kitchen is fully stocked and has new appliances! We provide coffee and a selection of teas.

Our open plan living area is great for entertaining and the kitchen has concrete counter tops and plenty of room. We have used it before as a yoga retreat as it is a beautiful and secluded place. It can be tricky to find especially if it's dark. Here are directions from Sutter Creek. As you enter Sutter creek take a right on church road at the church which turns into Sutter creek/Volcano road. Go 5 miles or 7 minutes and you will pass lyons park on your right, open space next to creek and on passing it you will take the next right at mailboxes. This is Valley bottom road. Go over bridge and stay left on road and its turns to dirt and stay left up a short hill and you will see red gates. It is approximately 1/2 miles from bridge to gate.
Upon arrival, you will find a booklet filled with all pertinent information regarding your stay. Enjoy!

Professionally decorated with a pleasing color scheme. Lots of windows let in wonderful light and views of Sutter Creek. Although the home is in a neighborhood, it sits on a hill and is very private. The entry has a cozy sitting area where you can read or play card games. There is an office with a desk and the Xfinity wifi allows work from home, if needed. Fine linens on the beds and beautiful bathrooms, one with a claw foot tub, make your stay luxurious and peaceful. One story home with a few stairs to the front door. The side porch has just 3 stairs and the back door has one stair. This is an home with character, like squeeky original wood floors, and some windows have original vintage glass. Dual heat and air systems will keep you comfortable in all seasons. There is a large hot tub off the master suite. The House/location is not appropriate for parties.

Sutter Creek is located about 1 hour from Kirkwood Ski Resort and sierra fun. Many lakes around to enjoy in the summer. Lake Tahoe is 1.5 hours away. This location is in a quiet neighborhood. The home and location is not suitable for parties.

We welcome only well-behaved and potty-trained dogs and we require a $40 pet fee in case your baby is not on her best behavior this trip. We provide a "pooch pack" with cleaning supplies and couch protectors for your peace of mind and also so the non-pet lovers can enjoy a hair and scratch-free experience. We provide a covered faux-grass potty area conveniently located adjacent to the house. Please be considerate of our nearest neighbors who enjoy the birds, squirrels, turkeys, and deer that frequent the yard between our houses. Please leash your pet and limit him/her from scaring the wildlife.

Guests are invited to enjoy the front and side premises of the cabin. While you can enjoy the view of the open space in the back of the house - it is not accessible to guests.

Please use extreme caution when using our sloped driveway. Although street parking is strictly prohibited, the driveway holds up to three vehicles. Use parking brakes (there are also tire chocks in the garage for your use) and don’t forget to adjust side rearview mirrors downward so you can see where you’re going when backing out.

The garage is also available for your parking use with space for two more vehicles (a total of 5). If you use the garage opener please return it to the wood bowl in the living room or you will be charged a fee to replace it.

The property has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom upstairs on the main floor and 1 master bedroom and bathroom downstairs. The master bedroom also has a couch and laundry room. The living room has a pull out ottoman (turns into a twin bed) and there are two couches (a two love seat sand a full size couch).

Location: The property is located 0.3 miles from down town/Main Street and 15-20 minutes from the local wineries.

Pet Policy: Dogs are allowed, but we ask that you make the owners aware that you will be bringing them.

Safety Measures: The house has smoke detectors, carbon monoxide alarms, fire extenguishers and first aid kits.

Miner's Manor is a beautiful modern Victorian home located in the heart of historic Sutter Creek. An easy walk to wonderful Main Street restaurants, shops and tasting rooms. This three level home provides privacy and ample space, making it a perfect stay for multiple couples or wedding parties. A luxurious master suite, two additional bedrooms, and one parlor/ additional bedroom provide comfortable space for your group. Spacious kitchen and outdoor decks for your relaxing time together.

Relax at this peaceful and serene escape nestled in a year round green botanical landscape. Just a short walk to historic Sutter Creek’s downtown restaurant, wine tasting and boutique shop district. A place to really feel at home, rest or adventure with your family or friends.

The space

- A portion of the backyard is under development and is currently off limits (coming soon - playhouse and outdoor kitchen)

Guest access
Guests are invited to use the whole house, both parking areas and the front yard. A portion of the backyard is fenced off and inaccessible as it is under development. We plan to add access to a multi-level play house for the kids and an outdoor kitchen area in the coming months. We hope you will stay with us again and enjoy this additional experience.

Guest access
Your booking gives you exclusive access to the entire house and the gated backyard with the pool (excluding the garage area and north side parking lot ). While the property sits on 20 beautiful acres, the land may be shared with us (the owners) our staff, and with other guests in separate areas.

We’re committed to ensuring your comfort and privacy throughout your stay, and we’ll always notify you if any of our team needs to access the house for maintenance or repairs.
