Located just 3 blocks from downtown Springfield, less than a mile from MSU and less than 2 miles to Bass Pro and Wonders of Wildlife -we are close to everything. Included is off street parking in the attached parking lot.

You will be staying in the original 1897 house. 2 other smaller apartments were built on over the years. There is a large parking lot attached to my property so if you need to park something big that can be arranged. Additionally there is fenced in back yard and BBQ Grill.

Guests have access to all of apartment 1, the parking lot, front and back yards and the laundry room facilities.

No contact check-in is available as Guests can enter the apartment with their door code. If you need anything I am always available via call or text and I live in apartment 2, around the corner.

The location is an easy walk to downtown where you can find just about any kind of food, shopping, a coffee shop or neighborhood bar.

Getting around is easy. If you are driving there is lots of off street parking. Public buses and Uber or Lyft are always close by.

There is a queen size bed in the bed room and a queen size mattress and box springs in the living room closet that can be used for an extra bed. There are also sheets, pillows, a comforter, blanket and extra towels in the living room closet.

- "The second floor loft was comfortable and interesting in a good way. Lots of people watching from the tall windows and still felt private. The beds were comfortable and being a light sleeper, I came prepared with earplugs but I could see how the sound machine could have been useful. Glad they seemed to think things through well for all types of people. This would be a great spot for multi family, couples or any 2-4 group. There’s plenty of space. We absolutely loved the Mexican restaurant down the street, La Paraiso! Brewco beer was good too! There’s plenty of food options downtown. We liked the central location and even adventured out with our bicycles to the greenway trails that aren’t too far. Bass Pro was insanely huge, but fascinating people watching. Route 66 history is interesting but we didn’t have time for that this round. Maybe next time. Great communication from the management about questions we had."

We’re happy to welcome dogs at The Cherry St House, The Cherry St Main Floor, and The Cairo St Bungalow. Unfortunately, The Disco Loft isn’t suited for pets. Up to two dogs are allowed per stay, and a small pet cleaning fee will be added to all reservations that include dogs. All dogs must be house-trained, well-behaved, and never left unattended inside or outside the home. Due to insurance restrictions, the following breeds (and their mixes) are not permitted: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Chow, Doberman, German Shepherd, Husky, Akita, Great Dane, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, and similar breeds.
Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or extra cleaning required after their stay. We recommend selecting the optional $40 damage waiver to help protect against unexpected incidents.

Beautiful room in the heart of Springfield in the centrally located and sought after neighborhood, University Heights. Decorated with a mid century modern feel, you will feel right at home in this cozy space. I’m a local and touring artist. This room is my music room and recording space. I figured it would be nice to share it with travelers coming through Springfield for various reasons! Feel free to cozy up at the fire pit! This room has a private entrance.

I have been a host for a long time- but this is a brand new Airbnb. I am asking my first few guests to be avid Airbnb’ers who will be gracious and provide me with private feedback on my space. I will do everything I can to make your stay comfortable- but it is new and there will potentially be things I have forgotten.

PETS: I allow dogs only.I do have a fenced in backyard if you are wanting to bring a pet. We love our pups so we are pet friendly! Please contact us about pet rules and information prior to booking and bringing your pet on your trip!:)

This would be a great place for a traveling nurse because the house is 1 min from Mercy hospital. It’s also close to downtown and Bass Pro.
