USE OF SECURITY CAMERAS: Renters understand and accept that the property is protected with outside security cameras. These cameras are used to protect the property and our guests from potential break-ins and theft. We have 1 camera by the front door and i by the back deck fence that is ON and recording 24/7. There are NO cameras inside the house.

Although we were a little disappointed that the river wasn’t up due to a severe drought, we made the best of it. Location of cabin was just far enough outside of the hustle and bustle but easily accessible. We had an issue with the faucet handle in the kitchen when we arrived, but we sent an email and were able to get that resolved the next day with a quick response. Would stay again!"

“Cabin in the Woods” is a rustic log cabin in a quiet area surrounded by beautiful hard wood timber. It has an open floor plan with a well stocked kitchen and the living area has a huge sectional that has built in recliners, perfect for watching the flat screen tv with the family. But the week before my 84 yr old mother entered the hospital seriously ill and declined quickly passing on Monday morning the 13th, just 2 days prior to our trip. The trip turned out to be a beautiful place to let God hold me, and in the midst of heartache and find moments of Joy, and laughter, and just rest. Although the weather was cold the kids were able to take the paddle boat and Kayaks out on the lake, make stores, and ping pong on the deck. Our 3 year old granddaughter ask if she could live there with her mom. Highly recommend this home to anyone. Would live to go back in warmer weather . ☆☆☆☆☆"

- "We had a wonderful wonderful stay. Even with the tremendous thunder storms Sat and Sunday. We had a little problem with a couple of wasps nest under the porch, called Teresa, Jim was there within five min, problem solved. Sat evening after the storms, we counted at least 9 deer within 50 yds of the house. Mississippi kites, indigo buntings, summer tanagers, hawks, and an eagle just some of the birds we saw or I photographed. Couldn’t have found a better place to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary."

You have plenty of privacy but can be a little unsettling for some people if you are not used to the country side. The resort offers a vacation rental arrangement unique to this property: a duo of attached bungalows called “The Pine” and “The Vine”, either of which may be rented as a single cottage or together. With adjoining doors, separated by an outdoor hallway, they make a perfect arrangement for larger families or groups when rented together, but provide enough of a division so that when rented separately, both units are peacefully distinct.
“The Vine,” features two standard beds, and a queen loft bed accessible by a ship’s ladder. The loft area is a fun feature for the kids and young adults in your party, providing their own space while giving you the option of supervision. The “Vine” features the incredible hydrotherapy Pearl Apoge Showers, with full body spray and pulsating Grohe shower heads.
