This newly renovated house sits in a prime fly fishing area on the famed Upper West Branch of the Delaware river. Located in the "No Kill" or "Trophy" section with 150' of private riverfront access. Trout Camp features an open floor plan with an island bar in the kitchen, dining area, living area with cable TV/DVD, internet and fly tying table all with a clear view of the river through the huge picture window, and a back deck with afternoon shade. There are four bedrooms and six beds(2-queen, 1-full, 1 single w/bunks) able to sleep 6+. 1 1/2 baths and laundry room.
With 150' of riverfront, a fire pit, riverside pavilion and picnic table, it's easy to enjoy this property. A gentle grassy slope to the rivers edge makes it easy to launch small watercraft such as canoes, kayaks and float tubes. There are many floating options available with two boat launches upstream within two miles and many more downstream, the closest being a half mile. There is a spotting scope at the house so you can zoom in on the eagles, beavers, rising trout, ducks or even (Loona) the Loon the has spent the summer with us.
Other activities in the area include, hiking, mountain biking, golf, bird watching, a state park with swimming and beach volleyball, 3 ski areas within an hours drive and miles of the Upper Delaware River system.

Oquaga Creek State Park, Beaver Park, Marsh Pond and Cat Hollow State Forests all minutes away. Some of the The Catskill 35 peaks are within a 30-45 minute drive.
In the summer fly fishing on the Delaware River is a favorite for anglers of any ability and if you've always wanted to learn, sign up for classes or guide at one of the renowned local fly fishing schools. Cannonsville Dam and Reservoir offer recreational activities with rental boats by reservation, fishing and breath-taking scenery. Activities for children include a wonderful zoo at the Discovery Center or Roberson Museum in Binghamton, and Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville 20 minutes away.
The perfect walk any time of day is around the lake at 2.7 miles or bike the area's beautiful hills with great views of farms and woodlands and reservoirs.
The beautiful and quaint Chestnut Inn next door offers many amenities including a full service restaurant and bar.
Our cottage has four bedrooms, two on the upper level and two on the lower level. The master bedroom has a double door that opens to the front porch and has great sunrise views. The second double room has views of the wooded area. There is a full bathroom off the hallway to the bedrooms and a washer/dryer unit off the hallway as well.
The living room is spacious with a comfortable couch and chairs . There are beautiful views out the large glass double doors that lead to a porch with outdoor seating for dining and lounging.
A full kitchen with skylights makes the space bright and fun and there is plenty of cookware and utensils for the cook in the house with ample cupboard space to store your food. A side entrance door in the kitchen leads to the side porch and gas grill.
The dining room is off the kitchen and living room in a open floor plan. Lots of light from skylights through out the upper living area adds to the cheery atmosphere and gives glimpses of the night skies.
The stairs off the hallway lead to the lower level where there is a double bed with double doors leading to a patio and open to great views of the lake and the outside lawn. The cozy single bedroom on this level has a attractive full bath attached.
There is parking for four vehicles on the property behind the cottage.
