3 bedroom, 1 bathroom a-frame home in the beautiful village of Rossport. A fair amount of stairs to get into this top floor unit. This unit is above another VRBO apartment on the lower level. Each unit has separate entrances, patios, and fire pits and there is plenty of parking.

This house has 3 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an equipped kitchen, living room (with smart tv), deck, and sunroom. The dining room table easily seats six. We love this property and stay here ourselves when not renting it out.

Enjoy a lake getaway while being less than 5 min from the LCBO, grocery store, and local independent baker.
There's a firepit, dock, and stairs with railing into the water, and a small boat slip in the yard, making the lake accessible for kids and folks with mobility issues.

The lake is calm, leech, and slime free!
Once you leave the bay we're on, the rest of the lake is in untouched wilderness.

The mainfloor bathroom has just been completley renovated. Take in the lake views in the evening or on a rainy day in the sunroom.

The kayaks are free to use at your own risk, as is the lake - obviously. Please bring your own swimming/boating safety gear.

- "The property was beautiful! We all felt very pampered with the hot tub and high end amenities. There are two televisions on the lower level, the upper level is designed for enjoying the view, having great conversations and creating some lovely meals. We arrived during a spring storm but the host had everything sanded. Rossport is fairly quiet at this time of year but we were able to walk around the village and there are hiking trails within the provincial parks. There are a few restaurants about 20 minutes away and there is a local cafe which is open during the summer. We look forward to returning to kayak on Lake Superior or to enjoy some autumn hiking. "

Other things to note
You are staying in bear country. Please familiarize yourself with safety precautions in regards to bears. They will not be a bother if you follow these rules.

Please ensure that food and food waste is not left outdoors.

Thoroughly cleaning the bbq is essential.

Garbage day is Friday-please put garbage out between 5-7am. Leaving it out overnight will attract bears. Garbage bags need a tag. Tags can be purchased as circle k or the municipal office otherwise you can drop your garbage at Phil’s Waste service for a minimal fee.


One last note: please put the bbq cover back before you leave. The high winds tend to blow it around and put cleaner is often left trying to find it. Thank you
