The space
I am at the end of a quiet calder-sac on a 5 acre rural living block that is only about 10 kms drive from the cbd and close to the Beautiful Emily gap.
Accomodation is a 70's caravan that has been renovated to be open and spacious. Although it is situated about 25 meters from our house, the landscaping and trees make it a very private space where you can enjoy wide open views looking towards the East Macs.
Sustainability has been our inspiration for using an up-cycled building approach as much as we can for this little camp set up. I have created a cute little kitchen lined from recycled pallet wood that takes full advantage of the view with a flip up window. It includes a mini fridge and all your other kitchen needs. There is an out door shower in an old water tank and a composting loo. You can relax and get acquainted with outback outdoor living under the shade structure and use the fire pit to cook if you want to feel like you are camping. if you want firewood I can arrange a bag for an extra cost of $20 but you will need to let me know in advance. If not there is a gas stove in the kitchen. Creativity has been used to make this a quirky and rustic peaceful space.

You can access all the areas listed in the space description as well as parking. The main house is not accessible.

Other things to note
You will need a car or taxi to get to Dusty Dog paradise. Please read directions on how to find the place. On arriving, if I am not home, just head to the caravan and settle in. I am a practicing artist and am usually pottering around the garden or my studio. If you need to find me please text or call if I don't answer a call out.
Please note if you have small children with you I have an unfenced pool that is 2 metres deep. Also I have a dog Manu, the dusty dog who is very old and mostly deaf but very friendly.

If you want firewood I can arrange a bag for an extra cost of $20 but you will need to let me know in advance.

There are many walks and bike rides to do in the area. I am happy to chat with you to point you in the direction of your interest.

The space
The space is a 6x7 metre modern fully self-contained studio apartment with ensuite and washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and electric oven/cooktop, Free to Air TV, NETFLIX and unlimited WiFi. There is a king-size double bed and sofa bed (so can sleep up to 4 people, but the sofa is most suitable for kids). There are also 2 bikes available for guest use if you desire and reverse cycle air conditioning/heating and ceiling fan. The unit and the front yard are private from the main house and is for the exclusive use of guests. The main house also has a pool in the backyard with wood fired BBQ which can be accessed by guests and is the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring the town or wonders of Central Australia.

My 16 yr old son and I are travellers saving up for our next adventure. We enjoy sharing our home with other travellers; solo, couples, or single parents travelling with a child. It's a single room in our house with a double bed, though we can always squeeze a swag on the floor if you don't want to share the bed. You can use our kitchen, bathroom, lounge and laundry, as well as enjoy our backyard, relax in our spa or play a game of pool. Our friendly dog laps up your attention if you let her.

Outside is a large shady patio surrounded by native gardens and an abundance of birds... a perfect breakfast location.

Other things to note
Taxis are often difficult to get at the airport. If there is a line of people waiting for a taxi I would suggest getting the airport bus to Alice Lodge. From there it's about 100 metres walk.

This studio apartment has recently been renovated with a fresh coat of paint and modern decor.

The queen bed has a high quality mattress and an added mattress topper for super comfort. There are layers of laundered mattress protectors for extra hygiene, including pillow protectors on all pillows.

The bathroom is bright and super clean. Good quality towels, body wash, shampoo/conditioner supplied.

The kitchen is stocked with a variety of quality cookware, microwave, electric oven, stove and grill. We have provided a Nespresso coffee machine and coffee pods so you can kick-start your day. If coffee isn't your thing then hot chocolate, tea and sugar is also provided.

I've also provide some basic essentials such as clothes pegs, washing powder, clothes airer, swim towels, BBQ essentials for the communal BBQ, extra pillows and blankets.

Alice Springs weather is usually warm or hot; be sure to carry plenty of water and sunscreen with you to avoid dehydration and sunburn.

Like most places, Alice Springs has its share of anti-social behaviour and crime. Please don’t leave valuables in your car.

If you are new to Alice Springs or Australia, it will be helpful for you to know that it is not uncommon to encounter "creatures". In the summer it is common for you to encounter flies, mosquitos, beetles, lizards and occasionally a snake.

Welcome to East Side Retreat! This new, comfortable studio is in the perfect location for a visit to Alice - walking distance to town, gorgeous walking trails, shops & cafes. Enjoy the recent renovations, brand new appliances and furnishings.

We are an 800m walk to town, the Todd Mall & Anzac Hill memorial; 200m to the edge of the Telegraph Station with beautiful walking trails + start/finish of Larapinta Trail; and a 600m walk to the IGA, a cafe, and Italian, Thai and Indian restaurants.

The space
The space is cosy and comfortable for two people - a queen size bed, a couch, bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. Tea, coffee and milk is provided so once you grab some other basic supplies, you'll have everything you need to make a simple brekky. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash is provided in the bathroom. The daybed on the patio outside your room is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the garden.

The backyard is a bit of a shared space. You'll see me, my husband and our daughter outside every now and again. You're welcome to use the BBQ outside and there's a table and chairs outdoors for you to eat at. The day bed is a great spot to read or sit and listen to the birds. We ask that you do not use the pool please. The washing machine is available to access (outdoor laundry) and the clothes line is under the trees towards the back fence.

Other things to note
Off-street parking: there is a parking spot off to the right hand side of our driveway towards the front of the house for you. Please do not park directly behind our car in the driveway.
There is a sensor light which you may leave on or turn off while you're staying - it is up to you. The switch is on the inside next to the main light switch.
Feel free to keep the bathroom window closed at night - this will stop you from hearing the pool filter overnight.

The living room features sliding timber doors, 50” smart TV, a Balinese teak single bed sized daybed with mattress and a Balinese teak sofa with mattress enabling night time conversion into bedroom three. The sofa is also a daybed, but less than single bed size; hence we consider it would be comfortable for a child or smaller person to sleep.

The space is a dual dwelling located at the back of the property. Along with the unit, the pool/entertainment area are private. The backyard and fire pit areas are shared with main house tenants but not often utilised by them.

A separate room is off the kitchen as you enter, a large bathroom is off the lounge area.

The kitchen is modern and up to date, you will find all you need for preparation and cooking food. All but the kitchen sink.
The kitchen currently has no built in sink, however a few steps into the bathroom and a large basin fits a custom bush sick that can be relocated to the kitchen for washing up.

The pool is accessible 24/7 and includes a large deck area for lounging under the Ranges, which are also visible from inside the unit.

Access to the unit is through a separate gate located off the main porch entrance to the house. Access can be gained without interaction with the main house. These entrances are under video surveillance.

Other things to note
Currently there are no laundry facilities in the unit. The local laundromat is easily accessible to property.

We lived in this unit over 5 years and now are very excited to be able to list it and share it with others. It is in a great location with a peaceful feel that allows you to disconnect and chill in the evenings.

You enter through the laundry room which is adjacent to the renovated kitchen. The fridge is also located in the laundry room.
After going through the kitchen you come into the dining/living space and on the other side will be the back door to a spacious back patio with chairs, table and BBQ.
To the right will be your 2 bedrooms and bathroom in between. The front room houses the queen bed while the back room houses 2 single beds. Both rooms have built in wardrobes.

This is a modern studio set in a quiet residential suburb of Alice Springs.

The Studio provides a large living space to relax and unwind after a days exploring, with internet, tv, and some novels provided.

A queen-sized bed is located at one end of the studio, made up with quality linen to provide for a comfortable night's rest. A wardrobe is provided for your convenience.

A complete kitchen is positioned at the other end of the studio. It is fully equipped with all your needs to allow for your culinary skills to be inspired by the desert landscape. Basic provisions will be provided, and from time to time you will be able to share in our joy of homegrown produce.

An ensuite bathroom sits aside the studio and provides for the basic amenities. A large shower head in the shower will envelop you after a days exploring the beautiful surrounds.

Take your pick of two private courtyards for the studio - one at the front and one at the rear. The rear courtyard provides access to the shared pool, which will be particularly refreshing in the cooler months.
Or if you're having a slower day, hang some washing in the sunshine in these spaces. Relaxed outdoor sitting is available in both of these spaces.

Driveway access to the property is shared, with myself and my family, as the studio is set at the rear of our block.

Parking is on-street, however please reach out if you would like to discuss other options.

A lock box is located on the property for you to freely access the studio. Once you step into your front courtyard that is completely your space to enjoy and relax in. At the rear of the property, you'll find the access to the shared pool.

Other things to note
While all efforts are made to maintain your privacy during your stay, please be mindful that this studio is located on our private residential block, and there are some shared access spaces.

Though Haven on Heath is in a Rural setting, backing onto the Todd River, it is only a 10 minute drive into the CBD of Alice.

This is an impressive secure and private location, positioned in a cool and tree lined complex only 1.2km from the town centre. This property sits alongside the golf course, and is close to the Botanical Gardens and Todd River; Casino and Convention Centre just a short promenade along Barrett Drive. All the conveniences of Alice Springs are just a short walk away, including art galleries and quality cafes. Located adjacent to walking and cycle paths, this home offers a great outdoor experience.

This is a spacious, well equipped and secure 2 bedroom unit. There is under cover parking in a one space attached carport with additional limited visitor parking onsite. Fully renovated kitchen, comfortable beds and quality linen.

One is for the wire doors and windows.
One for the back gate which should be kept locked at all times for your security.

There are also pool towels located in the bathroom in the cupboard.
