Our Downstairs Garden Unit 1 is well lit with 2 doors to enter and exit by. It is tiled throughout, with a queen-sized bed. Ideal for a couple although a single person stay works just as well. Utilities included in price.

You will share the courtyard and parking area with other guests entering or leaving the property. Noise is kept to a minimum, so we expect guests to have peace and quiet for resting.
Windows are screened for security and keeps the flies and mosquitoes away

Apia CBD is only 10 minutes drive away. There is a Convenience Store just across the road, and a bigger grocery store (Myna's) 5 minutes walk down the hill. Another 20 minutes walk will take you to the sea wall along Beach Road in Apia. Along this walk you will pass several other stores, Samus fish and chips, Robert Louis Stevensons National Museum, Hair Salon, Vegan cafe, Giordanos Pizza, Internet cafe, and other useful places. If you turn left at the gate, you will firstly come to The Shrine of the Three Hearts Parish, and drive for another 25 minutes to get to the sea on the opposite side of Upolu from the town(Apia). There are lots of beaches and waterfalls to see here. We will provide a tourist map so you can find each day to visit.

The space
This self-contained guest flat includes a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, stovetop, full-size fridge, toaster, rice cooker, and basic cooking utensils — perfect for preparing your own meals and storing food with ease. A private bathroom with shower and toilet adds comfort and convenience, and the space is kept very clean and well-maintained, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustle of town.

An onsite restaurant serves tasty breakfast and lunch, Tuesday through Friday, and there’s a convenience store just across the road for everyday essentials. Taxis are easily found on the main road, and one free parking space is provided right next to the unit.

A playpen is available upon request, and we can assist with rental car arrangements if needed.

Here are answers to a few common questions we get from guests:
1. WiFi is unlimited and free for all Airbnb guests.
2. Electricity is on a prepaid system (cash power). We provide an initial $50 Tala top-up, which usually lasts about a week with normal use. If you run the AC 24/7, expect to spend $60–$80 Tala per week to maintain power.
3. Groceries & Essentials: A regular-sized supermarket is right across the road, and another large supermarket is just a 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive away. There’s also a taxi stand and laundromat down the street.
4. Restaurant Onsite: Open Tuesdays to Fridays, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, serving delicious breakfast and lunch.
5. Kitchen Includes: Gas oven/stove, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, electric jug, cutting boards, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils — everything you need to prepare your own meals.
6. We are also minutes from Pesega, home to the LDS Temple, Church College, and Mission Home.

Note: We’re not fancy — no spa robes or waterfall showers here — but you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable, laid-back island stay with real Samoan spirit. Simple, clean, and just enough to make you feel at home.

Apia CBD being only 8-10 minutes drive away pending traffic. Hot water showers are a simple luxury included.
Security windows and fly screen keeps the flies and mosquitoes away but the cool breeze sweeps by allowing for a good nights sleep.

The space
Guests will have access to a semi-detached downstairs studio apartment complete with kitchen, en-suite and double bed.
Vaoala Heights Haven is on the main Cross Island Road and has quick and easy access to the north and south coast beaches.

BBQ facilities are on-site for guests to utilise.
We have a large yard with some sea views available to guests to enjoy our gorgeous evening’s outdoor.
We have Wally our too friendly a dog who is also our guard dog. He has a habit of greeting our guests with a leaf in his mouth.
Your hosts live on the property in a separate building and will answer any questions guests may have regarding places to dine out, attractions to visit, local events and general questions about the culture and community in Samoa.
We can arrange for a vehicle if required, and provide advice before it is needed.

Guest access
There is a courtyard through which you can access the unit upstairs and the 2 studios below. Guests are welcome to roam around the grounds, keeping to a safe distance from the fence at the valley edge, and after being familiarised with our canine friends. The fresh air is beautiful, as well as the views.

Wifi internet available via hotspot. We can also supply you with a free local SIM card with your own private local phone number and data to access the internet.
