There is also a modern bathroom and second lounge area with TV which is a great place to send the kids to hang out if you want a bit of peace and quiet.

The Bali Room is a cabin style accommodation that offers you a peaceful, serene environment and overlooks trees, bush and beautiful organic gardens - everything about this place is magical! The upper loft area sleeps a 3rd guest though it is a compact area so is more suited to children or smaller framed people.

A very short stroll from your room is the spacious outdoor/undercover Balinese style bathroom, kitchen and lounge area, complete with a Chimenea fireplace, The kitchen has a gas hob, microwave, small fridge and cooking utensils you will need. It does not have an oven.
These facilities are shared if our "Bali Haven," sleeping a maximum of 2 guests is occupied.

This pet friendly property is situated on nearly ¾ of an acre, and is just over 3 kms from Coromandel township and is opposite the famous Driving Creek Railway, (quiet train) and Zipline.
You can't help but admire the special touches this place has to offer, from the water features, to furnishings, to the vast well tendered gardens that surround the entire complex - truly amazing.

Diana, the owner of the premises, lives in a separate studio apartment further down the property, but is completely unobtrusive. She is on hand should you need any type of assistance.

Bellville Bach is 5 kms from Oamaru Bay and 6 kms from Long Bay. Both of these beaches have boat ramps and are safe swimming - They are tidal.
There is plenty of grassed area outside for the kids to play but the property is not fenced and the section is sloping.
All bed and bathroom linens are provided and are only to be used onsite. If you are planning on going to the beach please bring your own towels.

Only 2 bedrooms will be made accessible for a reservation of 4 guests or less.

Please do not leave taps inside and out running unnecessarily. Washing of cars and boats is strictly not permitted, though we do appreciate that you may wish to flush through your outboard motor.

Self-contained studio at Driving Creek, on the outskirts of Coromandel Town. Perfect for two people with its comfy queen-sized bed, it also has a sofa bed for two children or another adult. We share our home at Driving Creek with our dog Gracie, kune kune pigs, Ruby and Pumpkin, and four free range chickens - Claudette, Gwen, Pamela and Vanessa. They are super friendly and inquisitive - once met never forgotten!

Peaceful, lovely views of the bush covered hills from all windows. Across the road is the original cemetery for this historic town. Beautiful mature English trees and spacious lawns peppered with the many original tombstones of the early settlers from over 100yrs ago.
We are less than a kilometre (15 min walk) from the famous Driving Creek Railway and Pottery (built by my brother Barry Brickell). Easy 30 minute walk into the village of Coromandel, for cafe's and restaurants and other needs.

The deck along the front of the house has a small table and two chairs to sit at enjoy the view, birdsong and a fresh cup of coffee. There is a lovely walk from the Stamper Battery (gold bearing rock crushing plant) approximately 100metres up the road to a lookout over the valley and harbour. Other walks in the beautiful bush nearby too.

During your stay
Most of the time, there will be someone home during your stay. Occasionally we may be at the beach, going for a walk or simply chilling at a cafe.

We mostly eat organic, fresh food. I bake our own bread using spelt whole meal, buckwheat, sorghum flours, and soaked chia seeds.

Only a short drive from Coromandel Town, which is bustling with cafes, pubs, shops and amenities. It has amazing views , the ocean is literally at your doorstop, it's super quiet, the boat ramp is a few metres down the road, handy to great fishing spots - mussel farms are only a short boat ride, safe harbour for water activities - kayaks available free for your use, but life-jackets are not supplied and need to worn at all times.

The Studio Apartment consists of one room which has one x Queen size bed, one x single bunks, dining table and chairs, 2 seater couch plus TV/DVD player (with freeview ) there is a seperate galley kitchen (elements, microwave, fridge, cutlery etc) plus a separate bathroom (shower, toilet, basin). It also has a deck which overlooks the harbour.

Please note this property does not have WIFI

Linen (sheets and towels) are included, plus there is a BBQ which guests can use and a filleting bench in case you're lucky enough to catch some fish.

The space
The bedroom is large and comfortable with french doors to your private courtyard, with a small table and 2 chairs. There are also 2 tables in the room. The bathroom has a toilet, large basin, large shower and added amenities of laundry tub, washing machine and dryer. There is a separate entrance with a lockbox which opens to your private lobby area where the bathroom and bedroom doors are as well as a coat rack.

Guest access
The whole wing is yours to use, it's one area of the home with own entrance, park space and courtyard.
You have your own room plus bathroom/laundry. There is a lockbox for the key, check in details provided on the day.

During your stay
The adjoining door to our home is locked. We are available by messaging for any questions or requests, however we generally leave guests to enjoy their private time for their holiday.

Other things to note
*The bedside lamps are rechargeable and have cables for that purpose in the room. This means they can be moved anywhere inside or out. They are touch lamps with 3 different light settings, by touching the silver button on top.
*There is a hot water kettle, toaster and coffee plunger in the room, along with cups, plates, wine glasses. Washing up supplies are beside the laundry tub.
All the water to the property is town supply and double filtered at the entrance to the property, so yes the water is pure and nice to drink.
*Smoking and vaping is strictly outdoors, please close the door so the smoke and vape perfume doesn't go inside
* there are light switches in the lobby for outside, if you plan on coming home after dark you will find it convenient to turn on the sensor light at the door so you can use the key easily
* the pub and it's dining room is 2 minutes walk. Town with cafes, restaurants and the supermarket is 6 minutes walk. There is no fridge in the room and no cooking facilities. Cooking with your own appliances is forbidden. Please take advantage of the hospitality businesses in town. Ours is a country town and the kitchens close early. Please make your orders at restaurants and cafes no later than 8pm

Situated on nearly ¾ of an acre, and just over 3 kilometres from town, your spacious outdoor Balinese style Bathroom and Kitchen will have you enjoying the amazing garden and bush surroundings. These facilities are shared if our "Bali Haven," sleeping maximum 2 guests is occupied. There is also an outdoor Chimenea Fire area available to you.

Your Bali Room overlooks trees, bush and organic gardens.

Dian the owner of the premises lives in a separate Studio Apartment on the property, but is completely unobtrusive. She is on hand should you need any type of assistance.

We are an Eco Friendly property and recycling is encouraged. Only 100% natural cleaning products are used.

Other things to note
The loft area has limited space. It is recommended for the smaller framed person and is not suitable for babies or toddlers due to the ladder/height access. You will only share the bathroom and kitchen facilities if The Bali Haven is occupied. This has a maximum of 2 guests only.
