Cool little beach house in awesome location! Only a 5 min walk to the beach, estuary, kids park and bike track, and barely a 2 min walk to the local cafe. Welcome to George's Post - a newly built 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms modern house with 70s twist. Our Bach sleeps 7 guests comfortably, and has everything you need for a relaxing get-away for the weekend, or a family holiday.

We are situated just off the main road in the heart of Waitarere - 100m from the Four Square, cafe and gift shop. It's a 5 minute stroll to our local restaurant, the Bowling club, and the beach.

The open plan lounge/dining room kitchen is a great place for socialising with the family - chilling out by the fire (or heatpump), watching TV, or playing board games at the table. The large deck and bbq area is also a nice place to relax in the sun and watch the kids play footy in the back yarn.

The house has double glazing and well insulated so cozy in winter and situated for great sun in summer.

There is plenty of space outside for the kids, books, radio, Freeview TV, PS2 and board games and cards for everyone to enjoy. Wifi is also available.

You will be required to BYO Linen for the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Duvets and blankets are supplied, along with pillows - but it is recommended you bring your own for comfort.

Otaki Beachfront Getaway is a brand new 3 bedroom house with a fantastic views outlooking the Tasman Sea.

The Beach is just across the road. We have a outdoor shower for when you come back from a swim. The Surf Club is just down a bit, so you will be safe to swim in between the flags in summer.

We have a big Shade Sail on our huge deck for those who cant be in the sun.

Free Wifi, we have Chrome casting so you can watch anything from your devices. Also Netflix, Lightbox and TV One on Demand.

It is drenched with sunshine, with an enormous deck and flat grassy area to relax and unwind. Here you can enjoy an afternoon BBQ or cosy up beside the fire and watch the flames.

It is just a two minute walk to the nearest convenience store where you can get Fish and Chips, or two minutes to a great coffee shop. With home made food.

The Otaki township is just a few minutes drive and here you will find everything you need, including; Outlet Shops, Cafes, Restaurants, and Supermarkets.

Linen, towels and soaps are provided for your convenience.
There are new Electric Blankets on both Queen size beds. Plus 4 Hot Water Bottles with covers for the 4 single beds. A Cot is available too.

This two storey Bach is just 800m from Hokio beach. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, separate shower, WC and vanity room, as well as an open plan kitchen-dining-lounge area flowing onto a large covered deck. Our guests enjoy beautiful drinking, showering and bath water via a 6 stage water filtration system that removes chlorine, metals, insecticides, pesticides, nitrates, taste & odour.

The bathroom is modern and spacious, incorporating a large walk-in tiled mains pressure shower, with the choice of a standard rose or rain head for an awesome showering experience. A large vanity, with plenty of storage, large mirror with cabinet and a luxury double spa bath complete the picture.

The queen bedroom is sunny and warm and is fitted out with a lovely comfortable queen bed and unique décor. The queen room also has a 43" Panasonic Smart TV, purchased and installed August 2022. Breathe is located at beautiful Foxton Beach within easy walking to the wonderful sights the beach has to offer. 3 minutes walk to the "Sunset Walkway" whereby every visit offers a different picture perfect experience. This walk alongside the beautiful world acclaimed Manawatu Estuary, is the home to many species of bird life. 15 – 17 minutes walk to the fully patrolled swimming beach during the summer months.

We are close to a lovely recreation area that hosts an amazing pump park, skateboard park, children's play area, BBQ's, tennis courts and even an outdoor table tennis table and a flying fox to compliment the area.

If you're keen on fishing, the wharf next to the Manawatu Marine Boat Club along the river is a great spot to cast your line, along with fishing at the river mouth and fishing directly of the beach. There are several outlets that sell a variety of bait and fishing accessories located at Foxton Beach.

In the whitebait season the Manawatu River & Whitebait Creek are popular places to put on your waders and put your nets out.

There are several cafe's for those who enjoy a good coffee, great walks along the beach, estuary or forest.

More eating and coffee spots in Foxton township only 8 minutes drive away, along with some unique and kwerky shops and off course Foxton's own flour making De Mollen Windmill.

For those keen on Wakeboarding and obstacle inflatable parks, Foxton has a man made Wakeboard Park which also has a movie theatre and stimulator ride. The park is open between November - April.

For health & safety reasons, Breathe is not suitable for those with mobility issues or use a wheel chair, walking frame or other mobility aids as there are 2 high steps into Breathe.

South End Sanctuary is a modern (completed in 2023) 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom house.

Wonderfully located near the well-known South forest perfect for walking, biking, and home to the adventure playground. The house is approximately 200m from the south forest entrance and 250m from the Hydrabad Drive beach access.

This home has a master bedroom with a king bed, a second bedroom with a queen bed, and a third bedroom with 2x king single beds. While it sleeps 6 comfortably there is also a foam mattress and single sheets available to sleep an extra in the lounge if required. There is a main bathroom with toilet/shower/vanity and a separate toilet also.

The lounge/dining/kitchen is open plan. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a BBQ for outdoor use. There is outdoor dining on the patio and a grass area for activities. The house also has a washing machine for guest use if required.

Linen and towels are included, though we do ask that guests bring their own beach towels. There are basic consumables provided such as liquid soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, laundry powder, and dishwasher tablets. We provide enough toilet paper to get you started but ask that guests source their own if more is required.
In the kitchen, a starter pack of tea, coffee pods, and hot chocolate. Milk is not provided, we recommend you pick some up from the Foursquare on your way in.
As well as a TV (bring your own HDMI device) the house has a range of games and books to keep guests entertained. For the more techy or those wanting to do some work, the house has unlimited wifi.

While we are dog friendly we do ask that guests let us know. There are lots of dogs in the area and the beach and forest are dog-friendly however there can be pest bait/traps in the forest and dead fish/birds on the beach. The property is also fully fenced.

South End Sanctuary is not a party house. While we do want you to enjoy your stay we ask the outside noise be kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 7 am.

South End Sanctuary is self-check-in. Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is by 10 am. A late checkout is sometimes possible but must be arranged prior to check-in.

Access is via a 2.5km dirt track, so you will need a 4WD or vehicle with good ground clearance, then there is a steep 5 minute walk up through the trees. We will meet you at the bottom of the driveway to guide you to the cabin.
The cabin sleeps two & is not suitable for children. As it is off grid it is also not suitable for hair dryers, curling irons or heaters. Sheets are provided but please bring your own towels.

Our beach house is a double-glazed, child friendly home. It has a filtered tank so you can drink the water from the tap. The Bach is situated a short 5 minute walk from the beach and close to the Four Square, cafes, gift shop, galleries, bowling club and two playgrounds. The house is fully fenced with a large section for the kids to play on, along with a deck and furniture. It has a new bathroom, heat pump, two separate bedrooms and the master bedroom off from the lounge. There is also a soccer goal, netball goal and a cricket set for the kids to use. There is a TV for DVDs (100+ to watch), but no Freeview. The neighbours are fantastic too!

The house suits 4 adults and 2 children. The bunk beds aren't suitable for adults. You will need to provide your own linen, towels and tea towels.

This large, modern home is split into two different areas. The upper part is a split-level, 4 bedroom home and downstairs is a seperate 3 bedroom accommodation which may or maynot be tenanted out at the time. It does have a shared driveway. These are rented seperately. Please see owner for further details. This 4 bedroom can accommodate that extended family. Large entrance-way and a balcony out the front to watch those beautiful sunsets.

There is another outdoor dining area on the back deck area - It has a sprawling back-yard so perfect for playing games and BBQing. There is a very large backyard that can be easily blocked off to make this area fully enclosed - a great area for fun family activities. It has a large picnic table and market umbrella to hide from the heat of the sun.

Perfectly located across the road from the beach, with just a 1 minute walk to the beach access. Wonderfully located near the well-known forest entrance (which homes middle-earth and a wonderful playground). Perfect for walking and biking. Also walking distance to our local restaurant/cafe. A local four square (that do the most amazing wood-fired pizzas), gift shop and a bottle store for those necessary supplies are also close by.

This home has a master bedroom with a queen bed (with beautiful views of the Tararua Ranges) another room with a queen bed, 2 king-single beds in another room and a king-single bunk in another room. Beds and mattresses are all new. While it sleeps 8 comfortably, there is also 2 single trundler beds to sleep in the lounge or large entrance way if required. There are black-out blinds in each bedroom for that perfect nights sleep.

There is a main bathroom with 2 showers, vanity and a spa-bath to soak in after a long day of sand and sun. There is a separate toilet also.

The lounge/dining/kitchen is open plan. The kitchen is well-equipped - a slow-cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and there is a BBQ for outdoor use. The house also has a wasing machine for guest use if required and a clothes-line.

New Linen and towels are included, as well as blankets and duvets. Extra blankets and pillows can be found in the wardrobes though we do ask that guests bring their own beach towels. There are basic consumables provided such as liquid soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, laundry powder and dishwasher tablets. We provide enough toilet paper to get you started but ask that guests source their own if more is required. In the kitchen there is a starter pack of tea and coffee sachets. Milk is not provided. We recommend you pick some up from the local Four Square on your way in. The kitchen/dining has a breakfast bar as well as a 6 seater dining room table.

There is an HRV sytem that runs constantly in the background. There is a fire-place in the lounge (wood is supplied) as well as a large heat-pump. Both are very good at heating the whole house.

As well as a TV (bring your own HDMI device) the house has a large range of family games and books to keep guests entertained. We do have limited wifi.

#40 is not a party house. While we do want you to enjoy your stay, we ask that the outside noise be kept to a minimum between 10pm and 7am.

#40 is self-check-in. Check in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am. A late checkout is sometimes possible but must be arranged prior to check-in. Although we do employ a cleaner, we ask that you just leave the house in a clean and tidy condition in which you found it.

The space
Malcolm and Deb welcome you to our small piece of paradise. We are just over 3km down Hokio Beach Rd. Positioned beside the lake and five minutes drive from the beach.
The self-contained space has two bedrooms with queen-sized beds, one has a television with Freeview and Chromecast. We use cotton sheets and feather duvets. There are woolen blankets as well. The bedrooms can be individually locked. The separate bathroom contains a good-sized shower.
The tasting room and dining area have a large wood fire that heats the whole space. The tasting room is by appointment only 11am to 4pm so guests staying more than one night can have the place to themselves. If you are staying for more than one night the tasting room will be closed to the public. Let us know if you would like a wine tasting.
Ranch sliders lead out to a conservatory area with seating and a second dining area.
There is a full kitchen with all the appliances you may need, plus the all-important coffee machine.

Access to your accommodation is through the wooden gates as you turn in. There is plenty of parking. You are welcome to walk around the property, our home is further up the path. We have very friendly dogs, who often gets to greet visitors before us. Just tell him to go home if he’s a bother.
Guests are welcome to roam about the gardens and relax in the tasting room and sun porch.

Dogs are welcome to stay, but be aware that we are mostly fenced but an adventurous dog could wander.
Levin town is five minutes by car as is the beach in the opposite direction. Hokio Beach is excellent for walking the dog, swimming and fishing. There are lots of walking tracks for every skill level, so if you are en-route, visiting friends, or just want to de-stress come and enjoy a rural retreat and sample some organic fruit wines.

The space
Set in 2.4 Ha (6 acres) of garden in a rural setting but only 2 minutes from the main road. Park in the carport right beside your accommodation. The living area is 6x3.5 sq m including kitchen space with mini oven, microwave, 2 hot plates, jug and toaster. There are a range of utensils, oil, salt for cooking. There's a TV with Netflix, TV on demand and DVD player with DVD's to pass the evening. A heat pump and double glazing keeps you warm in winter, cool in summer. The bathroom is off the bedroom with a sliding door between, there is also a door between the bedroom and living area. Tea and coffee facilities provided.

Electric cars can be charged at a cost of 30c per kw.

The garden has a large variety of unusual trees and flowers, with many birds. You're welcome to stroll or sit in the garden.

We welcome people of all rainbow colours.

You have your own entrance way, either through a single door in the carport or the French doors. There is a shared driveway.

Variations to arrival and departure times by negotiation. The paths around the garden are grass so walking shoes are useful, though I can lend you some gumboots. Garden chemicals and tools are stored in a small unlocked shed. This shed is not to be entered by guests.

We reserve the right to decide which room you will be staying in as there may be other guests here at the time. The nightly rate is PER ROOM even though we have two rooms available. If you require both rooms, please state this clearly in your request so we don't accept any other bookings.

We have a separate large family bathroom with a shower, and a spa bath which you’re welcome to use to relax (not en-suite). (Note: spa bath only available when there are no water restrictions applying. Check with us first.) It also has a heated towel rail, and an electric point for shaver/hair dryer.

There’s a separate single toilet for your use next to the bathroom.

The tea-making area has a fridge for breakfast supplies, tea and coffee making facilities, and a toastie pie maker.

We provide a continental breakfast or you can bring your own if you have special needs. You could also head up town to enjoy a full cooked breakfast at one of the excellent cafes in the town centre which open from 7 am. We DO NOT provide evening meal cooking facilities. There are plenty of restaurants up town for delicious meals or takeaways.

We have a family area where you can sit and eat breakfast, have tea/coffee, and read, or use a laptop etc.

We'll give you a tour when you arrive and you can ask any questions before settling in.

Just so you know: Our home is NOT suitable for a "holiday" type stay. We're catering for business people, international travellers, overnight travellers through the region, and regional/local folk needing a short-term place to stay while visiting family or attending an event in Horowhenua or Wellington. We cannot accommodate long-term stayers (more than 10 days unless by special arrangement).

We are ideally located if you are going to or from the Cook Strait ferries or Wellington airport, or the city, and we'll give you estimated travel times.

We have a FLEXIBLE cancellation policy and reserve the right to ask you to cancel your booking request or decline your request if you don't meet our booking terms. However individual circumstances may be considered.

Located upstairs and separate from our main homestead, this near-new, modern one-bedroom apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Located 2.8 km (5 min drive) from the center of Levin, you’re close enough to all the amenities & far enough from the noise.

Sleeps up to 3 guests comfortably:
1 queen bed in the main bedroom (porta-cot available)
1 pull-out sofa bed in the lounge

Laundry space available for guests use.

The space
Our near-new home is set on 2 acres and is a short 2.8 km (5 min. drive) from the center of Levin.
The B&B apartment is upstairs and is completely private from the main dwelling where we live. You may see us coming and going and occasionally spot our cat, Tofu (grey) but he won’t disturb you unless welcomed.

Guests have full private access to the apartment. The only shared space is the external laundry, located downstairs

Guest access
Access is via a long metal driveway. Please park in the designated Airbnb space. The apartment entry is around the back of the property—follow the path to the rear entry door.

You're welcome to enjoy the grounds, and children are welcome to use the trampoline and climbing equipment.

Other things to note
We have 1 cat on the property (Tofu), but he will not enter your space or bother you unless invited.

A 100 year plus villa home under the Tararua Ranges on the outskirts of Levin that has been lovingly restored. The garden is well known in the district and further afield, and in the past we have hosted garden tours, weddings and fun raisers.
Guests will enjoy welcoming and respectful hosts, and the experience of quiet and peaceful surrounds. There is the option of requesting an evening meal at an extra cost using seasonal garden produce, which you can enjoy with your hosts or on your own.

The space
Wake up to the sound of Wood Pigeons and Tui's, and enjoy the included breakfast prepared by your host, who has a passion for cooking and presentation.
Enjoy your own private comfortable suite that includes bedroom with adjoining lounge, and high quality linen. French doors lead out from the bedroom onto a wrap around veranda, spa and the garden area. The adjoining lounge area has comfortable chairs, a mini kitchen area, Wifi, and a smart TV with Netflix.
Guests "ONLY BATHROOM" is a separate room at the other end of the house, and includes own toilet, bath and vanity unit. The shower room shared by you and your hosts is next to the guest only bathroom.

Guest access
Guests have their own private entrance to the suite via French doors into the bedroom with adjourning lounge, and are free to come and go throughout their stay. Guests are welcome to walk around our tranquil gardens, utilise the spa, and all outdoor seating areas to enjoy coffee/tea/own beverage or a quiet read.
During the BnB open season Teresa and Paddy vacate the house at night to their wee "Cottage Nest" in the garden.

During your stay
We pride ourselves on good communication and guest privacy. Guests are welcome to ask for help, advice or local information, and to text message or phone at any time.

Other things to note
Teresa and Paddy welcome you to Marangai Garden's. Our bed and breakfast was Teresa's life long dream, and with the support of Paddy and our four grown up children we opened for business in 2018. We throughly enjoy meeting the wide variety of interesting people from all over the wold and learning their stories.

Paddy is a recently retired Primary School Principal, and his interests include squash, the All Blacks, Thai cooking, reading, and walking.

Teresa works at a local country school, and her interests include home decor creativity, gardening, cooking, and reading.

We both enjoy time with family and our 10 grandchildren, and frequently have big family dinners.

We look forward to sharing our home with you.

Puka Accommodation is separate and private from the property's home. It is eclectically decorated in an ethnic style, to create a comfortable, relaxing environment. Puka is high-end accommodation, great value for money. Quiet location and comfortable bed.

The space
Puka is located in a rural setting, conveniently located an hour and half from Wellington for travellers just passing through, and just 40 minutes from Palmerston North. In addition, many guests have arrived for the weekend as a getaway from the city or to visit relatives in the Horowhenua area.
Puka has been tastefully decorated, sourcing decor, from Spain, Mediterranean, Italy, Japan, and Bali to create a unique atmosphere. Egyptian cotton sheets on a comfortable queen size bed (see reviews), as well as a deep, claw foot bath; allow for maximum comfort and relaxation.
The privacy of Puka Accommodation allows you to have a drink on the deck watching the sun go down; this might be at the end of a hard day tramping in the Tararuas, fishing off Waitarere Beach, mountain biking on nearby trails or a long day travelling for those on the road. (Fruit wine from local Celtic Winery available at cost on request).
Kitchen facilities are available for those who wish to self cater (BBQ available on request), or a range of restaurants are also available within 2 minutes drive.
Unlike some accommodation in Levin, the quiet rural garden setting ensures a private, relaxing stay at the same price as you would pay in a motel.

Safe off street parking. Puka Accommodation is physically separated from the main house to ensure privacy and quiet. This includes a deck to the north and one to the west with outdoor furniture. Access to the accommodation is 20 metres from the car park on a flat paved path.

The space
Our home is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac on the west side of Levin. It has four bedrooms, (only two are available to Airbnb guests), two bathrooms, a kitchen, pantry, dining and separate TV room. There are two outdoor living areas which are great in the summer, but can be closed in as cosy spaces in the winter. The section is extremely private and fully fenced and there is ample, safe off-street parking.
It's a nice flat stroll into town or around the lake.

Guest access
Guests will have access to most of the house excluding the master bedroom, office, spa pool and garage. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor areas for you to use during your stay.

The bathhouse is fitted with a generous sized tub can accommodate two . The candelabra provides ambiance & a romantic feel.

The sleeping/sitting cabin is heated with a mini metro fire. Keeping you snug & cosy on those cold nights.

Lovely spacious home. A perfect place for family or friends looking to find some peace, close to town centre. Our place is created for six people. Please let us know if you need to accommodate seven people and we can set up a fourth bedroom with a single bed at an additional cost to the guest.
