Welcome to George's Post - a newly built 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms modern house with 70s twist. Our Bach sleeps 7 guests comfortably, and has everything you need for a relaxing get-away for the weekend, or a family holiday.

We are situated just off the main road in the heart of Waitarere - 100m from the Four Square, cafe and gift shop. It's a 5 minute stroll to our local restaurant, the Bowling club, and the beach.

The open plan lounge/dining room kitchen is a great place for socialising with the family - chilling out by the fire (or heatpump), watching TV, or playing board games at the table. The large deck and bbq area is also a nice place to relax in the sun and watch the kids play footy in the back yarn.

The house has double glazing and well insulated so cozy in winter and situated for great sun in summer.

There is plenty of space outside for the kids, books, radio, Freeview TV, PS2 and board games and cards for everyone to enjoy. Wifi is also available.

You will be required to BYO Linen for the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Duvets and blankets are supplied, along with pillows - but it is recommended you bring your own for comfort.

Otaki Beachfront Getaway is a brand new 3 bedroom house with a fantastic views outlooking the Tasman Sea.

The Beach is just across the road. We have a outdoor shower for when you come back from a swim. The Surf Club is just down a bit, so you will be safe to swim in between the flags in summer.

We have a big Shade Sail on our huge deck for those who cant be in the sun.

Free Wifi, we have Chrome casting so you can watch anything from your devices. Also Netflix, Lightbox and TV One on Demand.

It is drenched with sunshine, with an enormous deck and flat grassy area to relax and unwind. Here you can enjoy an afternoon BBQ or cosy up beside the fire and watch the flames.

It is just a two minute walk to the nearest convenience store where you can get Fish and Chips, or two minutes to a great coffee shop. With home made food.

The Otaki township is just a few minutes drive and here you will find everything you need, including; Outlet Shops, Cafes, Restaurants, and Supermarkets.

There are new Electric Blankets on both Queen size beds. Plus 4 Hot Water Bottles with covers for the 4 single beds. A Cot is available too.

This two storey Bach is just 800m from Hokio beach. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, separate shower, WC and vanity room, as well as an open plan kitchen-dining-lounge area flowing onto a large covered deck. The view from the top storey is over rural farmland to the sea - great sunsets. Relax and enjoy with an espresso or cappuccino from the coffee machine. Downstairs has a garage with laundry, a second WC and the 3rd bedroom/lounge area. Hokio stream is a popular White baiting location in season (August - November). There are views to the Tararua mountain range 15kms to the East and an 18 hole championship golf course just 4km down the road. If you need to hit the shops or go to the cinema, it's only a 10min drive into the Levin shopping centre. Hokio beach has a wonderfully remote feel to it as the village itself is alomst invisible from the beach. This is a great place to get away for a break, just 45 mins from Palmerston North and 90 mins from Wellington. You won't be disappointed.

Breathe has a kitchenette with kitchen sink, dishwasher, double draw airfryer, electric frypan, microwave, twin bench top hot plates, jug, toaster, crockery, microwave dishes, cutlery, pots, fry pan, cups, glasses, utensils and some storage containers. There is a Chargrill Gas BBQ for guests to cook on. Please note there is no oven in Breathe.

Our guests enjoy beautiful drinking, showering and bath water via a 6 stage water filtration system that removes chlorine, metals, insecticides, pesticides, nitrates, taste & odour.

The bathroom is modern and spacious, incorporating a large walk-in tiled mains pressure shower, with the choice of a standard rose or rain head for an awesome showering experience. A large vanity, with plenty of storage, large mirror with cabinet and a luxury double spa bath complete the picture.

The queen bedroom is sunny and warm and is fitted out with a lovely comfortable queen bed and unique décor. The queen room also has a 43" Panasonic Smart TV, purchased and installed August 2022. This TV has access to Netflix, YouTube and other internet apps including Neon, TV on Demand and more. Guests are welcome to login using their own account to watch Neon and TV on Demand. There are no freeview or sky channels available on this TV. There are a set of drawers and a double hanging rack to hang clothes. The wardrobe is locked and not available for guests.

The second bedroom hosts 2 comfortable king single beds and a book shelf with books for all ages to enjoy. There is also toys for the children.

Dimmable lights set the mood in the living area and both of the bedrooms.

There is fast Wi-fi, and in the living room a 55" Smart TV, with Netflix, YouTube and other internet apps including Tubi. Please note there are no sky or freeview channels available.

A modern and really comfortable 3 seater couch and matching arm chair reside in the modern living area of Breathe.

Breathe is setup with a dedicated area for working from home with a desk suitable for a laptop, screen & keyboard or iPad, making this the ideal place for travelling and working away for longer periods of time.

For guests comfort during the cooler months, Breathe is centrally heated with vents situated at each end of the living room that heat the entire space and there is also an additional wall heater located between the two bedrooms for guests to manage their own heating requirements.

Breathe is located at beautiful Foxton Beach within easy walking to the wonderful sights the beach has to offer. 3 minutes walk to the "Sunset Walkway" whereby every visit offers a different picture perfect experience. This walk alongside the beautiful world acclaimed Manawatu Estuary, is the home to many species of bird life. 15 – 17 minutes walk to the fully patrolled swimming beach during the summer months.

We are close to a lovely recreation area that hosts an amazing pump park, skateboard park, children's play area, BBQ's, tennis courts and even an outdoor table tennis table and a flying fox to compliment the area.

If you're keen on fishing, the wharf next to the Manawatu Marine Boat Club along the river is a great spot to cast your line, along with fishing at the river mouth and fishing directly of the beach. There are several outlets that sell a variety of bait and fishing accessories located at Foxton Beach.

In the whitebait season the Manawatu River & Whitebait Creek are popular places to put on your waders and put your nets out.

There are several cafe's for those who enjoy a good coffee, great walks along the beach, estuary or forest.

More eating and coffee spots in Foxton township only 8 minutes drive away, along with some unique and kwerky shops and off course Foxton's own flour making De Mollen Windmill.

For those keen on Wakeboarding and obstacle inflatable parks, Foxton has a man made Wakeboard Park which also has a movie theatre and stimulator ride. The park is open between November - April.

Important:

For health & safety reasons, Breathe is not suitable for those with mobility issues or use a wheel chair, walking frame or other mobility aids as there are 2 high steps into Breathe.

Please note there is no parking onsite at Breathe, but plenty of parking across the road or down the road.
