Our house has an attached guest suite and is located two minutes walk from the lake and Don Rowlands centre, licenced Podium Cafe and boat ramp .You cannot get closer. The accommodation is an entire wing located off a shared entranceway . It has two bedrooms both with ensuites , a lounge area and kitchenette which opens on to deck with a bbq. One room has a King double bed and the other has two king singles. There is a double sofabed and a single bed in the lounge which gives us the ability to sleep five. There is a separate toilet and hand basin etc.

The White House is a beautiful, extensively renovated character bungalow set within a lovely garden, fully fenced with lots of secure onsite parking.

The modern kitchen, dining and lounge area are set for all day sun and open through French doors to a lovely private deck and garden sitting area. Great for an end of day drink and chat.

There are three great sized bedrooms all with stylish quality linen and comfy queen sized beds. There is a main bathroom which includes a large bath as well as separate shower and the main bedroom has a bright new en suite (quality towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel supplied). The new modern kitchen has everything you need for easy entertaining including coffee machine, induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher etc.

There is free Wifi and the TV has Netflix.

The White house is an easy walk to everything Cambridge has to offer. Boutique shopping, great restaurants and cafes, regular Saturday farmers market, Art and Craft fairs and the hidden lake. Just a three minute drive away is St Peters School and the Velodrome, the new all weather race track is close by too.

A modern, light and airy master bedroom with ensuite. Sky TV and Tea and coffee in the room for your comfort. Easy access to all you will need but a tranquil and private space. You come and go through a separate external door although the home owner is available in the main part of the house when needed. We are 5 minutes drive or a pleasant 20 min walk to cafes and shops in Leamington and Cambridge. A 10 min drive to Mystery Creek, 10 min drive to Velodrome and 15 min to Karapiro Lake.

This is a private big sunny room with ensuite. There is a nice outlook onto a walking path.
There is a cafe at the end of the walkway to enjoy a leisurely brunch.

The space
On arrival you will find your driveway leading you to the cottage entrance with an easy access lockbox entry to make check a breeze.

The cottage is fully self contained and sleeps 2 comfortably. You will find the main room spacious with modern amenities, very comfortable bedding & fresh linen. There's a small kitchenette inside the room with microwave, kettle, toaster and a fridge/freezer for storing food. You'll find a Nespresso machine with a two complimentary pods to get you going. There's a desk to work from or simply relax at, fibre fast Internet and complimentary Netflix to enjoy on the big screen, to unwind as you would in the comforts of your own home.

The en-suite within the cottage has a toilet and wash basin and a short walk across the balcony gives you access to your own dedicated full bathroom with shower, which is renowned for its amazing shower pressure and heating provided through the heat lamp extraction system keeping you toasty warm while you wash the day away.

Walking through the bifold doors into the outdoor alfresco kitchen, you will find a Webber BBQ, gas hob, deep sinks and an amazing rimu worktop. Cutlery, pots, pans, crockery & glassware are all supplied and nestled within the private dining space. Enjoy cooking or dining day or night with the fantastic sensor lighting, comfy outdoor dining table protected from the elements to enjoy your meals in or to pour yourself a glass of wine and relax.

There is a park and playground directly across the road if you have children or simply want to stretch your legs after a big day and the backyard is peaceful and quiet to put your feet up and relax in to the sound of birds.

Your space backs on to a shared backyard, we will respect your privacy but feel free to say hello.

The cottage adjoins a shared backyard where you might hear or see my three year old from time to time. We always try to respect your privacy wherever possible but please feel to say hi if you wish.

There is an amazing trampoline you are welcome to use at your own risk and please supervise any children at all times.

Smoking or excessive alcohol are the only things not welcomed at our sanctuary please, as this is a family friendly space.
