The studio has been totally converted from Sue Schaare's original art studio where she did all her painting. Sue is a well know NZ artist. Although we have modernised the studio, we have tried to keep its original ambiance. The studio faces west and has lovely sunsets filtering through the olive trees. There is a lovely courtyard just off the studio for guests to sit an relax, or beautiful decks on the sea side of the house for their pleasure.

Located in Bay View, just north of the Hawke's Bay airport and only 8 kms from Napier CBD, we boast beautiful views eastward towards Mahia Peninsular, Napier Port and Bluff Hill. Westward the view is rural towards the Kaweka ranges.

Airport pick-up is offered or if you are travelling by car we have ample off street parking available.

Special attention has been made to ensure the comfort and personal well-being of our guests.
There is a washing line behind the trellis at the end of the section ( many guests don't venture that far). The side door to the garage is open if you want to store bikes or dry laundry inside. The key is on the blue key ring and there is a door opener in the drawer of the hall table. The oven top is gas, just make sure the switch on the wall is fully on.

If you're traveling as a group or a family and two single beds won't be enough, one of the single beds can be swapped for a bunkset increasing the rooms capacity to three guests. We can accommodate another four guests (six in total), see Tiketike in Taradale (Queen bedroom). These bed/guests will incur an additional nightly fee. During the booking process just ask if the additional bedroom is available.

Your private room has a shared bathroom. You'll also have access to our kitchen, sitting room and TV lounge, veranda and hot tub. We have sports and international news channels available on the TV.
