The property is on 1.5 acres, fully self-contained with one new QUEEN bed Feb 2024 / bedroom, en suite, a double sofa bed in the open plan living area, and a portable crib with bedding provided. It can accommodate 4 people. It is a lovely warm place to stay in either summer or winter as it is north-facing and has a log fire for the winter, with air conditioning and heaters as required.
The property is an oasis of a variety of fruits in the orchards which covers the property. Most times of the year there is fruit. At the rear of the property is Driving Creek stream where the first gold was discovered in New Zealand and today you will find crystals there for a souvenir.

The beach is really safe for swimming and kids have so much space to run around. The house boasts 4 large bedrooms with luxe linens and comfy beds, a modern kitchen, large open plan living and dining and wonderful indoor / outdoor flow complete with an expansive deck that is perfect for soaking up the view, and cooking your catch of the day on the Weber BBQ. There is also a modern bathroom and second lounge area with TV which is a great place to send the kids to hang out if you want a bit of peace and quiet.

Welcome to Coro time, bring the whole family including the dog. It's a great place for the kids and we have plenty of space for the boat too. It's the ideal base for your trip to Coromandel town.

The unit itself is quite spacious and can sleep up to 6 people. There is 1 bedroom with a queen sized bed and all other beds are in the living room which includes 2x singles (bunk bed), a king single and a sofa bed.

There is an outdoor BBQ and garden area to the side of the unit for your use.

Close Proximity to the local supermarket, restaurants, bars, and boat ramps. Walking distance to the Driving Creek Railway.

The hosts Barb and Gary live upstairs and are available if you need help with anything.
Barb loves animals and has a couple of small dogs herself and may be able to help with pet sitting if needed and Gary has a knack for filleting fish if you need help with that.

The well equipped kitchen with roomy breakfast bar has a dishwasher, large fridge/freezer with water, filtered tap water and gas hob.
Expressotoria Coffee Pod machine (Vittoria capsules - see photo) - These capsules are not available in Coromandel Township so if you wish please purchase prior to your stay. There will be some complimentary on your arrival.
Bi-fold windows open up directly from kitchen to the BBQ area on the back patio.

You will be treated with that impressive outlook from the Master Bedroom which has a three seater lounge and stacker doors opening onto the deck.
The Super King room, with your choice of a super king or two single beds, has its own private patio and outdoor setting for that quiet relaxation under the sun.
The Queen Patio Room has double doors that lead out to the back patio area while our Queen Balcony Room, complete with bath in the ensuite, steps you onto that superb front deck.

Unlimited internet and Smart TV will enable you to use your own Netflix, Spotify and other App accounts. You may also pair your device to the blue tooth speaker system.

The double garage has table tennis, washing machine and dryer located within. Your parking is located outside of the garage. Please note the driveway is relatively steep.

This spectacular house is only 1.8kms from town and 5kms from safe swimming beaches and boat ramps.

The kitchen was well catered for us and the appliances were quality - being able to do washing and cook, was fantastic and the ice machine/water dispenser on the fridge was so handy. The space in the house, with two lounge suites and a well-catered outside balcony, with views, was so appreciated as we were able to spread out and just be. Table tennis in the garage was super fun ! Communication via phone calls and text meant I could contact the host instantly if needed, which was really reassuring. We had absolutely no issues and could not fault the place. Parking was sweet with 3 vehicles; we had a large boat which we arranged to park up somewhere else, as there was no chance it was going to fit up the steep driveway. The house is private, safe and secure and quiet. I would highly recommend to family and friends and I think the asking price is extremely reasonable and well worth it."

Kapanga Escape is situated right in the heart of Coro Town, a 3 minute walking distance to the main shops and restaurants. It is hidden down a driveway, with a reserve situated at the back of the house, a perfect place to relax and unwind after exploring what Coromandel has to offer. With an open plan kitchen, and doors that open off the dining area onto the outdoor deck, it is a perfect place for large families and for entertaining. The bedrooms are all good sizes, and with a smart TV in the bedroom with the king single and trundler bed- perfect for kids to watch a movie. There are beautiful Fejoa trees along the left side of the house, that when in season you are welcome to eating. Double Garage, perfect to park the boat up after a long day fishing. We want you to love the place just as much as we do!

Our cottage is the perfect location to use for R&R or as a base for sightseeing around the Coromandel Peninsula.

Bellville Bach is 5 kms from Oamaru Bay and 6 kms from Long Bay. Both of these beaches have boat ramps and are safe swimming - They are tidal.
There is plenty of grassed area outside for the kids to play but the property is not fenced and the section is sloping.
All bed and bathroom linens are provided and are only to be used onsite. If you are planning on going to the beach please bring your own towels.

Important things for you to note:
Only 2 bedrooms will be made accessible for a reservation of 4 guests or less.
There is a $35.00 cleaning/linen fee for the use of the 3rd bedroom. Please advise us in your reservation request if you will need this room to be made available for you. If only 2 bedrooms are required please indicate whether it is to be the double bed or 2 x single beds preferred.
We are on septic tank with an eco-friendly Biolytix system. It is essential that only toilet paper is flushed - No sanitary items or baby wipes.
We are also on tank water only which is totally safe to drink. As we are anticipating a dry summer this does however does mean we ask you to conserve water when you can. Please do not leave taps inside and out running unnecessarily. Washing of cars and boats is strictly not permitted, though we do appreciate that you may wish to flush through your outboard motor.
