A great view from the deck down to the estuary, Private and set on beautiful grounds and use of pool at owners' discretion, due to the fact it's on their property and outside their home (this year we have made a decision to keep it on the down low for guests, rather than having people in the pool from daylight to dark). This modern, family friendly, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home provides easy and comfortable living with lovely elevated views of the estuary and only a short flat walk to everything that Mangawhai Village has to offer through a path at the end of the Right of Way. The house has a fresh and bright open plan living/dining/kitchen space which has been tastefully decorated.
There is a large deck out front providing plenty of sun and is a great spot to relax with a drink in hand at the end of the day. Out back there is plenty of room for the kids to run around on a large flat grassed area for sports or games. The top deck and back stairs are now gated (not shown in photos) to reduce any concern with high stairs for the little ones, so you can relax knowing they can't go far.

In addition, it incorporates the master with ensuite and laundry. On the other side are the remaining three bedrooms, bathroom, separate toilet and second living. The breezeway is a great spot for dining and relaxing, on warm summer days it provides some welcome relief from the sun, on cooler days slide down the blinds and put on the outdoor heaters to keep things cosy.
For entertainment there is a large Smart TV, board games and an enclosed trampoline.
There is plenty of parking space for cars and a boat.

This modern, sunny, 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom holiday home is in a tranquil garden setting on a quiet cul-de-sac between Mangawhai Heads and Village. Although the cabin is just one big room (42 square metres) with an attached bathroom, it feels spacious and very liveable. There's a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge, microwave, two induction hobs, kettle and toaster.

The cabin opens out to a deck looking onto the large lawn and the surrounding forest canopy. The outdoor table and chairs are perfect for balmy summer evening sun-downers, with a BBQ for al fresco cooking and dining. The lawn is calling out for little feet to run around after a ball, or pull out the petanque set and have a game on the green! Your dogs will love this outdoor space too, and the large property is fully fenced and gated for their safety

For winter stays, both an infrared wall heater and an electric oil-filled heater keep you toasty, while complimentary WiFi and a selection of books are on hand to keep you connected and entertained. Bring your own streaming devices (there is no TV).

Totara Folly is in an excellent spot for vineyard hopping! Brooke Lane Vineyard is just down the lane ready to offer brilliant wine and gin tasting surrounded by beautiful scenery. If you’re wanting to hit the beach, you're spoilt for choice. While this property is pet friendly, cats are not permitted (resource consent condition). Dogs are not permitted into the adjacent fenced covenant area (i.e. the forest) as it is part of a kiwi zone. Guests may need to park at the end of the metalled driveway and walk approximately 100m to the cabin.The bathroom at this property is accessed externally via the deck.Please be advised this property does not have an oven.
