This two-storey house with a 6-bed sleepout and games room is within the "Golden Circle" of Mangawhai - close and within walking distance to the shops, cafes, golf course, museum and amazing kids playground including a skatepark, playground, tennis court, flying fox, bike & running trails, soccer field & fitness trail. A 3-min walk down the road to the estuary (warm water & no waves) and 5-min drive to the ocean beach. Sea views of estuary and ocean. Situated in a quiet and established cul-de-sac just off the main road.

The house (upstairs) features a kitchen, dining room and lounge, 2x double bedrooms, 1 single room and a bathroom/shower/toilet. Free WiFi is available to guests and a Smart TV includes Netflix (you will need to logon), and YouTube. Your BYO Sky box can be connected to a dedicated HDMI cable.

Kneedeep is a beautifully appointed, sunny, modern holiday home at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the Heads. Recently completed, this holiday home has been designed to make the most of the stunning estuary views which can be seen from the open-plan living/dining/kitchen, master bedroom and of course the covered deck.
With decks on both sides of the house you can catch the sun and avoid the wind as you please. There is a track which takes you down from the house to the edge of the estuary and kayaks are available for use while the tide permits (approximately 2 hours either side of high tide).
For winter stays, the gas fire place and double-glazing ensure you can stay cosy and warm while watching the tide ebb and flow and experiencing the beautiful sunsets. There is a firepit that can be used when fire bans are not in place but you will need to supply your own wood (can usually be purchased from the local Four Square)
Located in Taimoana Close, a quiet cul de sac,set back from the hustle bustle of Mangawhai Heads, it is only a 15 minute walk to the golf course and Mangawhai Activity Zone for the kids. If you want a longer stroll the Wood St Shops are 25 minutes away or the Village and markets are a 40 minute walk and everything is within about a 5 minute drive, including the surf beach.

Set at the end of a long drive amongst mature bush is this secluded slice of Magical Mangawhai paradise. The cottage has been lovingly refurbished to capture the essence of beach holidays and the 180 degree estuary and ocean views are quite simply stunning. Upstairs features two bedrooms, one with a King and another with a Queen. There is also a third bedroom located downstairs which features a Queen. With decks on both sides of the house and large bi-folds there is great indoor/outdoor flow and plenty of options whatever the weather. There is also direct access to the estuary down a formed bush track with 150 steps to ensure you get your daily dose of exercise.
With two double kayaks available on request (don't worry they are stored at the bottom of the track!), explore the estuary and the huge sand dune a couple of hours either side of the high tide. Or alternatively laze on the deck with a good book and/or a cold drink. Watch the colours change on the estuary and dunes as the tides ebb and flow and the sun rises and sets over this picture postcard view.
For entertainment this property also now has a 55 inch SMART TV and soundbar.

Beautifully renovated, centrally located family bach only five minutes walk from the estuary beach. Now has a large spa and new furniture! Multiple cabins plus a renovated caravan on the property for large groups or two families to have some privacy.

The north facing living area in the main features a high end, well equipped kitchen with a massive awning window the width of the kitchen that opens up to the outdoor area - great for serving food and drinks from. At the other end of the living area, there's a day bed with a matching awning window that opens out to a bar leaner. There are two bedrooms in this house (one a queen and the other a bunk with a double on the bottom), the kitchen, dining and living, a bathroom, and the laundry - further rooms are in the other cabins on the property, more info below.

It’s about 600 metres to the swimmable estuary, and a five minute drive to the surf beach as well as many other estuary beaches. Central to the shops, cafes, the golf course and the boat ramp.

We understand you are on holiday but there is a no party policy and ask that music is turned down by 10pm onwards as a courtesy to our neighbours.

House to be left in the same state as it was found on check in ie dishes cleaned and put away, beds stripped and left in a pile on the beds if linen was requested.

Please remove all rubbish and any pantry/fridge items on departure, we have provided 2 council rubbish and 2 recycling bags but if you require more they are available for purchase from the local 4 Square or New World.

LINEN OPTIONS: To keep your holiday more affordable, for this property we offer linen as an optional extra for guests who prefer to bring their own. If you choose to bring your own linen, you will need to supply top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and bath mats. Pillows, Duvets and Duvet covers will be provided.
Alternatively, a rental linen package is available for $25 per person. To request this service, please add a note to your booking specifying the number of people requiring linen and which beds you would like prepared.
BOOKING PAYMENT: Although your credit card details are taken during the booking process, we won't automatically charge your credit card. Once your booking is approved we will send you a payment email with a choice of credit card payment (a 3% surcharge applies) or bank transfer (no charges).
