The Top House sits on the highest point of our property, nestled amongst beautiful mature Pohutukawa's and tropical gardens. At this point I would like to make you aware that there are about 40 steps up to The Top House. My mum likes to call them the stairway to heaven but if you don't like stairs it may be the stairway to hell!

It boasts all day sun. The front deck looks towards the gorgeous island views of Hahei and provides guests with the first sun of the day, perfect for having your breakfast or morning coffee. The back deck looks over bush and rural views and enjoys the afternoon sun - perfect for late afternoon drinks.

The Top House is an easy downhill 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Hahei Beach is so beautiful - it is often called the Pink Beach because of the number of ground shells that gives it that beautiful pink tinge - it has the nicest sand of all the Coromandel beaches! There are many sprawling Pohutukawa that line the beach front that provide shelter from the sun.

Cathedral Cove walking track is a 15 minute walk from the Top House. We do have other walks in the area that are fantastic and go to beautiful beaches such as Lonely Bay. You can also go to Cathedral Cove with Cathedral Cove Kayaks or the Cathedral Cove Water Taxi and our local boat operator Hahei Explorer will visit the Cove during its tour of the coastline.

Hahei has a small village shopping area which caters to most of holiday makers needs. A well stocked general store, two restaurants, take aways, an ice cream parlour, cafe, gift shop and delicatessen. We also have an amazing dive school, kayak tours and boat rides all available in our village.

Hot Water Beach is a 10 minute drive away, and is a stunning beach as well. Of course you can dig your hot pool here at low tide, but it is the most beautiful beach for walking along - much more open and rugged than Hahei. This is the beach to go to if you enjoy surfing. It also has two options for eating - Hot Waves is open during the day and Hotties provides evening dining right on the beach.

The beaches don't just stop here - they keep going all the way to the ferry - a beach suitable for any age or activity - all within 15 minutes drive. There are a variety of different eating establishments within this drive such as the beautiful Mercury Estate Vineyard open for lunch, The Hive nestled in amongst kiwi fruit vines provides relaxed dining during the day and evening.

- "Top House was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Jane was always helpful and friendly. Just be aware that you have to carry your luggage up steep gravel stairs through the garden. This well furnished holiday home is located on Michelle Lane just an easy, flat stroll to Hahei beach. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen-size beds, 1 with twin bunks.
The house has a large, well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave and a Breville Barista Espresso Machine for our coffee lovers so make sure to bring your favorite coffee beans.
One bathroom with a toilet and shower and another separate toilet makes life easier for all. The garage has a range of bikes from beginner to adult road bikes and a well used beach cart for taking children and all their gear to the beach. The double kayak has lifejackets, paddles and a beach trolley.
There is a tub at the house which can be used as a baby bath and a high chair for no extra cost. A portacot can be set up with all linen and baby towel for a small fee of $45.00 for your stay.
The living and dining area are spacious with a stereo, large TV for the sports fans and DVD player for the children. The lounge opens onto a side and front deck, and a big grass yard. This house comes with deck chairs and loungers and a Webber BBQ.

Hahei Beach Road Bach is just a short drive from Hotwater Beach and Cooks Beach. This bach is centrally located to many of the tourist destinations of the Coromandel Peninsula. Hahei Beach Road Bach is an airy and sun-filled 3 bedroom house with open-plan living. Both the master bedroom and double bedroom have the benefit of an ensuite each. The double bedroom also has a separate nursery attached which has a portacot, highchair(attaches to a bench) and foam mattress suitable for children supplied. The bunk room has 2 bunk beds and a pull out rollaway bed. There is a separate toilet in the laundry right next door to the bunk room for these guests to use. Hahei Beach Road Bach wraps around a central shaded deck which ensures great indoor outdoor flow. There is plenty of space for vehicles as a lockable garage and open carport is attached to the house and room in the driveway for more vehicles. The key feature of Hahei Beach Road Bach is its location with Hahei shops, restaurants and playground directly across the road makes this an awesome spot for families to walk everywhere. The beach is a flat 4 minute walk away and there is an extra outside shower to use on your return. The garden and deck offer privacy for a peaceful breakaway, or head out to the beach for sun and surf.

The Chalet at Hahei is a 3 bedroom Hahei holiday home with unique features. As well as great views, it is also only 200 metres away from Hahei beach and a stone's throw from the cafe, shops and the acclaimed boutique brew bar and restaurant..

From the warm decks of this Hahei holiday home, you step into the well appointed cool of a home completed to high specifications. The kitchen has a large gas range, modern appliances and a great outlook beyond the wide opening windows. The lounge is open plan and versatile, complete with modern leather couches, while the dining area flows out onto expanded decks through large bi-folds. The rear decks catch the afternoon sun and there is plenty of space to BBQ.

On the top floor the master bedroom is fitted with a queen bed and has magnificent sea views over Hahei. It opens out to its own deck where you can take in the 300 degree outlook or check out the impressive night skies. The second bedroom, with a double bed and a single sofa bed, offers entirely different outlook across the valley.

Back on the second floor main living area, there is a quiet bunk-room, with double and single bunkbed, and french doors out to the sunny rear, with bathroom adjacent. The bottom floor has a stylish bathroom, separate toilet and shower area and a fully equipped laundry. The generous sized bathroom features a corner swizzle bath with views across the gardens, ideal to soak those stresses away.

The widened drive takes 4 cars, including a small boat and trailer. Situated on Tutaritari, this quiet road is often referred to the Dress Circle of Hahei. The Chalet has been lovingly maintained and prized by the same family for over twenty years - the Chalet at Hahei is a dynamic and stress free haven well situated in the heart of a world-class coastal town.
