We think Waihi Beach is one of New Zealand’s top holiday destinations. As it is one of the safest swimming beaches around, it is a very popular destination for families.
All you need to do is walk 70m to the closest beach access and you will find your own spot on the widest part of Waihi Beach, where 2 Mile Creek joins the sea. No need to worry about scrambling down the rock wall or having limited sand at high tide. The creek is certainly another fun place for the kids to play.

Only 3 minutes walk (350m) from beautiful Waihi Beach and super close to the Waihi Beach Surf Club for flagged and patrolled swimming areas. There is a spectacular walk to Orokawa Bay on a DOC track which goes from the absolute north end of Waihi Beach (5 mins walk from the Bach) and gives you stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and thru the coastal forest ending up in beautiful Orokawa Bay. It is about 45 mins walk (mid to steep in parts) one way.

Tui's Retreat easily accommodates 2 families if the kids are happy to all sleep in the bunk room. With 3 spacious bedrooms, two of which are double bedrooms with Queen Beds, plus one extra large bedroom with 2 sets of King Single bunks (sleeping 4 in that room), there is plenty of room. A seperate toilet makes life a bit easier, and the bathroom has a shower over bath.

Kitchen is equiped with microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and gas-top electric oven with range hood. Fully air-conditioned and heated for comfort in both summer and winter.

Great master bedroom with a walk in wardrobe and ensuite that the couple with the little one enjoyed (we will probably fight over who has this room next time we stay) and we particularly loved the spa pool. Spacious living areas with a butlers pantry and separate drinks fridge to store all of our food. The location is 2 blocks back from the beach - a short walk down every day - and we also walked to the markets just next to town on the Sunday. It is also next door to the local primary school so very handy to a playground for the kids. Great communication with Rochelle also. Highly recommend."

Welcome to Waihi Beach Bliss where the living is easy! This little bach is comfortable & modern, with hints of its original 1940s charm. It's a 2 minute stroll to the vibrant village, and it takes about 8 minutes to reach Waihi's beautiful sandy white beach.

The sunny deck is surrounded by trees & overlooks Broadlands Reserve. Relax in the hammock or chat with friendly ducks waddling up from the creek. The Sunday Market & Waihi Beach Pub, with frequent live music, are a stone's throw away. Located down a very quiet private lane.

The cottage is one of two guest accommodation units on the property. Featuring two bedrooms with double beds and a single pull-down bed in the living room, the cottage comfortably sleeps 5 (all linen and towels are provided). In addition to the comfortable beds and modern bathroom you will also enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, including crockery, utensils, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, stove, bench top and above all, a dishwasher! Flowing out from the living area you will find a private deck with outdoor dining area and a Weber BBQ for your exclusive use. Wander across the road for a dip in the sea, wash off in the outdoor shower, then laze in the loungers by the pool followed by a wine in the hot tub - the choices are endless .

Brand spanking new (finished in November 2022) three bedroom holiday home, just 400m from the beach. Sleeping up to eight people (two queen beds, two sets of bunks) this is the ideal retreat for one or two families to kick back and relax on a classic kiwi beach holiday.
